Restaurant seemed to be located on a random corner, which surprised me because I wasn't sure if it was still operating but luckily there were many cars outside of the restaurant building. There was a waiting time when I tried to dine in. I didn't mind the waiting time because I came during their lunch rush. However it did take the staff longer to come ask me for me orders and and get me water to start. My papaya came first and then my sesame balls. And lastly my Kao Piek Sen Noodles. I kinda ordered a lot for myself but I was still able to finish my meal but I wished there were more staff on the floor to be alert and refill waters because since there are so many customers in a small building there are a few like I or some individuals who eats by themselves and sometimes feels ignored with service and aren't able to physically show or say that we would like some service at the table. For instance, after I was done with my papaya salad I needed more water since it was kinda spicy but I can still handle the spice. I didn't received my refill until the next 20min when I finally got the rest of my orders and was able to get the waitress attention that I would like water. Amazing service and amazing food. The restaurant was full during the Memorial weekend but we were taken to our tables and got our food in a very timely manner. I was craving veggies and chose this place for the vegetarian options. I got the veggie pho medium sized. When it came, the bowl of pho was huge - like a chinese face wash basin. The place was cool, clean and the staff courteous and too eager to please. I forgot my reading glasses so I didn't look at the menu but asked the waiter if they had pad krapao, which is as common in Thailand as burgers and fries in The States, and he said, "yes ". What I got was their Thai vegetable stirfry with pork and a scoop of rice on the side. That is not even remotely close to pad krapao. Was here as a stop during my trip and was looking for a place to go eat some non chain like food and came on to yelp to look for something yummy. I found there to be a ton of different Thai places in the area but the Yelp pictures for this place looked like something worth trying. Once I place the direction into the gps I found it a little difficult to find. Its to the right of the Dutch brothers and it looks more like an industrial building verses a restaurant. Don't let that fool you. The food is delicious. I got Khao piak combo super flavorful broth. You get a lot of food and it's decently priced. My friend got the Khao poon combo and he stated it was delicious. I took off one star because the pad see ew was a little too sweet and the meat was kind of dry verses other pad see ew that I have tried. But the soups are pretty amazing. They have containers out so that you can pack your food to go without having to wait for the waitress to bring you containers. All in all I would suggest going to this place. read more

We were in Redding for a night and trying to look for Thai food for dinner. We found this place in yelp. They were open for indoor dining, first come first serve basis. We got there at around 7:30pm Friday night and we were #2 in line. The place was small maybe 6-7 tables but we were able to get a seat after 15 minutes of waiting. There were only two staff working trying to accommodate between orders, processing payments and take out orders, answering the phone, cleAning the tables and bringing out the food. We waited for awhile before they took our orders and the staff was apologetic about it. They worked so hard. They can absolutely use some extra help there. We feel bad for them. Anyway, it only took about 15mins for them to bring our food out. We ordered Vegetable Pho, Basil Eggplant with Beef and sticky rice and Large Thai Iced Tea. They were amazing. So tasty and so fresh. Worth the wait. The prices were good,too. The most delicious, affordable Thai place we've been. Wish we live closer, we'll be here often. read more

Food: really tasty and flavorful!! Probably one of the best papaya salad (Laos style) I had at a restaurant. Even my Laos friend commented "I need to learn how to make papaya like this." Service: They can be very unwelcoming. We sat ourselves and one of the servers just walked by and dropped the menu and quickly walked away without a greeting. Really disappointed. I ordered for pickup. I ordered the pad kee mow that was soggy, bland, and flavorless. Pad kee mow is my favorite and this one was not good. I mean there was a wierd canned flavor to it and no spice at all. The noodles were not fried, no color or texture. Really just a gelatinous ball of yuck. I also ordered yellow curry. It was thin and the potato was raw. Curry flavor was very understated, almost watered down tasting. I also ordered the musmun curry, it tasted like I was eating out of the Skippy peanut butter jar. The texture was also grainy and potatos were way underdone. We also had fresh rolls and thai spring rolls. The avocado fresh rolls were ok but the avocado was overripe and cut to big for the roll which was not rolled well so they fell apart immediately. The prices are best in town, while the food is IMO just as good as any of the other staples in town (Thai Hut, Champa Garden).
