I wanted to love this place because I love a local business trying something new and creative. The concept is fantastic, and it inspired me to gather my music listening group. We were all genuinely excited about the hi-fi promise and had tempered expectations after another friend told us to go early to get a table. The space itself is beautifully designed, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Rose's tagline is that music "isn't background, it's on the menu," and unfortunately, the music never really made it to the table. The biggest culprit is the acoustics, which feel like they should have been the biggest consideration for this space's design. Conversation bounces hard off the walls, which just cranks the overall volume until the room is fighting itself. It was genuinely difficult to hear the music we came for, and at points, we couldn't even hear each other across our own table. If a boisterous group decides they want to be the soundtrack for the evening, like they did when we went, good luck. For a room built around one of the region's finest sound systems, that's a real letdown. The open kitchen is another tension I didn't expect. I normally love watching a kitchen in action, but here it works against the hi-fi listening experience rather than adding to it. If I were to return, I'd love to sit and make the kitchen action my focus. I think the food was beautifully plated, but overall it was fine. It never quite landed. I personally had the tuna tartare and the rockfish. Every dish felt like it was missing one small thing to bring it together. Our group was not satisfied with the portion-to-price ratio, and a majority reported still being hungry after we left. I will give real credit for the gluten-free and vegetarian options because I was eating anti-inflammatory at the time and had no trouble finding things that worked for me, which I always appreciate. A beautiful room and a brilliant idea, but the execution of the thing that makes it special just wasn't there for me.

I really enjoyed my experience visiting Rose's. The new restaurant initially intrigued my husband and I because of its unique concept and focus on live DJing of vinyl records. Upon entering, you feel the music and the main speakers are on display in the front of the restaurant behind the host stand. They do not take reservations, so my husband and I walked in on a Friday night (before Independence Day) and were seated immediately. Unfortunately, no server came over to us in a reasonable amount of time while we watched other tables around us be sat after us and greeted almost immediately. So instead, we took a seat at the bar (was previously recommended to us by guests departing also) and we were not disappointed! The bar team is professional, prompt and friendly and they made wonderful drinks and cleared our place as needed. We started with the bread service, tuna tartare, scallop crudo and the potatoes. The bread service was very good (on par with Chic's Laundry but I like Rose's butter better!) and the scallop crudo and tuna tartare were also very delicious. The potatoes were just alright, nothing special. I don't think I would order those again. My husband had a Negroni and I had the Donna Summer. The Italian aperitif in the Donna Summer makes it perfect for Negroni lovers and Aperol Spritz lovers alike (if you're into super bitter Spritzes). It was just different enough to be fun while offering something perfect for my palate. I also loved the name and how they tied the drinks into the theme. I also ordered the Brussels Caesar and my husband initially said I was on my own, but he couldn't keep his fork off of my plate! We both thoroughly enjoyed this as our main dish. Overall, the vibes are up. The only areas of opportunity I noticed were in the kitchen, and particularly with the lack of salt for several of the dishes. But the concept is great, as are the food, drinks and service at the bar. I look forward to returning to try new menu items and enjoy the music.

Finally visited not too long ago, and loved it so much that I came back within the week! Had to laugh because the hostess saw me and my brother and immediately said "welcome back" they take walk-ins but try to go early for dinner because space is limited. If you have a bigger group, call to make a reservation. Especially if it's 6 or more. There is parking in the back, through the colorful alley. Better than trying to find oceanfront parking, but once again, those spaces are limited. I'm interested in dining in the back patio, i'm sure it's wonderful when the weather is nice! You have to order everything from the top of the menu: bread service, hamachi, scallop, tuna tartare. Incredible. The lobster risotto was highly recommended, it wasn't my personal favorite only because it came out alongside the crab cakes and those were perfect. There was a sweetness to it that was new and refreshing and I loved it. We got the rockfish during both visits. The textures and flavors go together very well, especially with the hazelnuts and the sauce! The potatoes were delicious, I just wish they were all small and crispy lol. Let's just say the short rib and sticky wings are not first-date-material menu items because the sauce and sandwich contents were getting everywhere Good thing we were in good company & it was all laughs! AND THE DESSERT?! Honey, get that strawberry sundae asap. The layers of sweetness and then the saltiness and crunch from the pistachios while the madeleine absorbs the ice cream? Yeah, she's the one. The menu constantly rotates, so enjoy these while you can! I'm excited for all that's to come! Looking forward to a night of tunes from the hi-fi systems as well

Loved the energy and vibes at Rose's. We were greeted by a server when entering and directed to the bar. We came on a Saturday night just for drinks and they did not disappoint. The Mas Que Vodka was so delicious, could really taste the tropical flavors of passion fruit, and coconut. The high fidelity sounds immaculate and the Dj hand picks each vinyl track all night. Paid parking across the street was difficult to access due to construction. This place is fairly new but had seen it all over social media and had to see what the hype was about. But now I totally get it. Will definitely be returning to try the tapas and mains in the future.

I'll start this review off by saying the aesthetics of the restaurant are wonderful and the staff is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a lively, beautiful place to enjoy on a cool evening this place is it! However, if you are looking for mouth watering food, they may need additional time to work on the food quality. The concept of small plates and family plates is great. The menu reads really well. My issues arise with the quality of food. For starters, the drinks were pretty, but they weren't amazing. Unfortunately we only ordered a single round. The mocktails sounded delicious, so maybe next time we will give those a try. On to the small plates, which we treated as our meal. We ordered the bread recipe, chicken wings, short rib melts, and lobster risottos. The wings were absolutely delicious! I'd for sure order them again. Mostly because I do enjoy a good chicken wing. The bread recipe was ok. I'd suggest ensuring the bread is served hot, and maybe less of a serving of butter. Possibly, sweeten the bread to balance out the saltiness of the butter. The short rib melt was also ok. The meat itself didn't not have any seasoning, but the onions and mushrooms had salt sprinkled over top. I'd recommend a different mushroom because the button or cremini mushroom seemed out of place. Maybe shiitake would flow better. Also maybe a spoonful of broth or sauce from where the meat was cooked, could help bring in the flavors. The risotto either needs additional work, or should be taken off of the menu in the future. I did not look like or taste like a risotto. It was just rice & broth. The flavor was amazing, but the texture and possibly the type of rice, was incorrect. It still needed some time in the pan with less broth. I unfortunately could not finish my meal. I did eat the lobster, but if I'm being honest a few pieces were over cooked. I did tell our server my honest review. I was hoping maybe he'd suggest something else, but he didn't. Nonetheless he was still really nice. The quality and quantity of food does not equate to what was spent. If these are going to be the prices on the menu, it's suggested to either continue to improve the quality or decrease the cost. I'm not sure I'll be returning anytime soon. I'd return for a fun night, but not the food or drinks as of today. I hope as time passes others can enjoy the food and give them a try!

This was second visit from night to day and I would say depending on what your kind of plans you want this place has two vibes to it and it still brand new and menu is simple with unique touch to it and I was able to experience both night and day. Where night it more upbeat and you have more live music going on at the Dj set and the crowd is definitely there where everyone is vibing from dining in and just enjoying the drinks at the bar and dancing in the mix of it all. Verse at day time the atmosphere is more layback give you more relaxed beat but still a vibe to enjoy music and more layback. The food was delicious my favorite is the tuna tartare especially on a warm day like today and summertime weather it nice cool down with a kick to it and the chicken wings had a special touch to it with the allium ash and hot date honey were the perfect combination to make a classic dish into a unique dish and with every option here is made fresh to table serve and that is also a good bonus especially a new dine in restaurant like this. The server Jackie she was excellent with giving us options to try and make recommendations if anything was not available at the moment and letting me know how each drink is and what there top seller is and what most people like and she make sure we were taken well care and give us the run down of the vibe is for night and day and what to expect and she explained that we came at a good time which was around they open up and the service was overall great. Some highlights I did like that is the food is well portion and not to heavy and the drinks are more on the high end side of how the made and well crafted and they do accept walk ins and reservations and both of mine visits. I did not have to wait for a table, especially at night when it was very busy. They still managed to get me a table and I think that definitely a highlight to know about a restaurant that's capable of being able to get you seated and get you served and be able to give you the experience you deserve and that's what's most important of finding places that are more of experience rather than just a sit down and I think this place is perfect for those that kind of wanna have a different night out where you're able to experience both daytime and night time.

2nd try was a success. My wife and I tried to get in once before but we couldn't find a seat. This time we arrived on a Friday at 4:30 pm. The music was super jazzy and fun in a cool upbeat cocktail speakeasy kind of way. There are plenty of great views of the kitchen if you enjoy seeing the staff at work. Or hang in the bar with the live DJ. We tried and shared and appetizer a main and a dessert. All of them were fantastic. Sharing the three was plenty for us.

We had a great girls day here to avoid the nightly chaos . I heard it could get a little crazy here and with it being fairly new , the food is limited and wait times can be crazy. So we hopped on the chance to get there , right when they open . The entire staff was so welcoming and gave us great recommendations. The hot honey date wings with allium ash were so flavorful and nicely done , looks like a jerk wing but not. The Bread service however , a girl loves a good buttery and salty bread . The butter complimented it so well. I could order a million of those.. the drinks were solid , not too strong which I like . I just love the jazz bar aesthetics in this place, I asked God to bring more of this vibe to the 757 area and here it is . I highly recommend this place. I will say the menu is limited but that's the point right !!! Just a chill vibe with small plates and drinks, so you can dance lightly on your feet instead of hunched over in the corner.

Absolutely amazing from the time you walk in the door. It's a whole vibe with dim lighting, music, delicious food and wonderful service. Maria took wonderful care of us. I think we tried to order everything on the menu. We started with the bread service with the most amazing homemade butter. Creamy and perfectly salted....you could eat it by itself with a spoon. We also ordered the lobster risotto, tuna tartare, cabbages and the highlight was the caviar service. I can't complain about a single thing that we tried. The cabbage salad was light and refreshing. The lobster was perfectly cooked and were huge chunks. The tuna was served with delicious crackers....it is a little spicy so be warned. The caviar experience was simply perfection with the bread, creme fraiche and presentation. We heard the wings were delicious and a favorite and that just gives us an excuse to go back and try them. We of course had to try dessert. The creamsicle pop was my favorite. Such a perfect size and not overwhelming orange flavor. This was a great experience. The attention to detail on everything was noticed and appreciated. 3 foodies at a table and we all raved about the meal! I have already recommended this restaurant to friends.
