The roof top restaurant at the ray hotel

Rosewater rooftop bar and restaurant in the ray hotel down town Delray Beach was awesome. Good food and drinks a must see and experience. Pool and nice decore with couches and tables on the roof of this hotel.

Relaxing day with my hubby and daughter at the Rosewater Rooftop restaurant high above the Ray hotel. The open air cocktail bar was enticing but I decided on just the smoked fish dip and a Lemon Dill Caesar salad. Both were arrived at my table quickly and were tasty with large portions.

We came for happy hour and were surprised by how big the portions were! We were expecting little apps but we were full after 3 picks from the HH Menu (from 3-6pm). Great service, fun atmosphere, rooftop vibes, and good food! I'm definitely coming back to try the frozen espresso martini and the char grilled oysters!

Great ambiance, and a very laid back spot that's great for bringing your friends. Music isn't too loud, so you can still hear your conversation. The cocktails are well made and around the price you'd expect for a rooftop bar. Service was quick, attentive, and personal.

One of my favorite rooftops in delray! I have come here a couple of times for cocktails. Most recently came in for happy hour. While I didn't get any of the food there were some strong options for good prices. I had the lychee martini which was pretty tasty. Also tried the happy hour mule, which was not my favorite. Didn't exactly taste like a mule but also just wasn't good. Could have been an off day for the bartender either way the ambiance is good here and the service is friendly. I have to come back at some point to try the food.

    Nick....best server in Delray!

Food was super delish, wait time was short for a busy night, and our server Nick was THEE best! Definitely coming back....and did I mention the ambiance is an open-air rooftop ...can't get any better than that!

I'm typically not a fan of hotel restaurants, but Rosewater Rooftop was surprisingly good. The char-grilled oysters and lobster quesadilla were both exceptional. Drinks and service were solid. Great option for a convenient lunch or dinner when staying at the Delray Beach hotel. 3.5 stars

Let's start with the service: Christa was our server. She was attentive informative and professional. There was a hostess who we had to search for to be seated and she seemed bored and tired when walking from the hostess stand to the Resturant. But let's not blame her entirely as it was about 100 degrees in that heat and humidity and I wouldn't want to stand around outside either. The ambiance, ah the ambiance. How I sought out the ambiance when I made the reservation. Ah how I was looking forward tonight when I saw all the pics on line. And how disappointed I was when I was "in it". Maybe cause it was an off hour, around 1:30 on a weekday (Friday), and this place is really an evening place. A place for the beautiful and hoping to be beautiful locals come and mix. And drink. And listen to loud music. And snap pics. And drink. And pose. And drink. And I was there to eat lunch. And check them out. The vibe was on life support. The music which could barely be heard seemed to potentially be hot if they turned it up. When I asked the manager to do so he probably thought I was weird. Why would an old man with gray hair and a high BMI want loud music. Well, to start with, it would have created the vibe they are selling. And drown out the hotel out of town era dressed in bizarre clothes at the bar starting to booze it before 3 pm happy hour. And let me say a word about the look of the place. Well designed. Well furnished. Tropical. But also looked worn out. Like it needed a good cleaning. Polishing. Get the stickiness off the table tops. And keep the damn doors closed so it's cool inside. All the hot humid airbrushing in on both sides of the bar made no sense to us other than to ease the servers in/out with drinks. Food was good. Not great. It sort of felt like upgraded hotel restaurant food. The fried chicken sandwich was dry although the sauce on the side was tasty. My request for well done fries resulted in barely fried fries. The salad with grilled chicken breast was good but it seemed to be portion controlled. A large plate which was filled with a medium amount of salad greens. Would I return? Highly unlikely. Tried it once, now I know what's there. And that's about it.

Super cute rooftop bar and restaurant with a pool as well. The hotel itself is adorable and picture pefect and the rooftop is even cuter. There is plenty of comfortable seating outdoors. I had a leeching martini that was delicious and my friend ordered a Cuban Caesar and I had the burger. Both were very good. The only downfall was the money wasn't very large and they needed a bit more help. We just was super friendly and was doing her best. Would love to come back at night.

Chic rooftop bar in downtown Delray on top of The Ray hotel. I came here to enjoy a cocktail and some conversation with my husband before we went to a show. Definitely plan on coming back to try the food and to come for the Dj on the weekends.

The vibe is super cool, cozy seating, great ambience, dim lighting that feels like a hidden gem. I sat on the comfy couch and ordered sushi from OKA, which was honestly better than ever. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were delicious too; strong, creative, and exactly what I wanted for a chill night out. I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

The food (Italian inspired cuisine), the ambiance (upscale modern clean vibe with white brick walls, green palm trees, and nice lighting), and the service, are all fabulous! My husband and I wandered in just before Happy Hour was ending. Vinny, our excellent waiter, hooked us up quickly so we could take advantage of the half price appetizers and discounted cocktails before the clock hit 7:00 pm. We shared a few appetizers - absolutely delicious - but the arancini truffle rice balls, served with a pecorino cream, were outstanding - seriously, on another level in Flavor-town! Other menu standouts include the large assortment of pizza. For dessert we were "treated" to an incredible bread pudding - perfectly dense but still moist and sticky, yet not too sweet with a crispy caramelized top - served with vanilla ice cream. The beautiful and engaging Manager, Megan, bought us dessert when she heard we were celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary - so thoughtful and kind! Megan also signed us up for the complimentary Beach Club diner's card (ask about the details when you visit this "happening" venue for yourself!). In conclusion, if you haven't figured it out yet, we highly recommend Beach Club - you won't be disappointed! (Be sure to ask for Vinny's station - he will provide you with great service - professional, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu - we loved everyone of his suggestions!) The server was friendly and the food was very good! Only complaint is the portions were small for the hefty prices. We ordered a few appetizers and two pizza pies. Chicken cutlets - these were nice fresh and juicy. I like that the lemon wedges were seasoned and gave a nice kick to the cutlets. Portion was a bit small for the price 4/5 ($16) Shrimp oreganata - shrimp, parsley, garlic, lemon, breadcrumb. These were cooked nicely, shrimp fresh and flavorful and not overcooked. Although good, these were just 5 shrimp. Overpriced. 4/5 ($20) Burrata - Filone bread topped with burrata, strawberries, balsamic, brown butter, and there was something crunchy on top that was good not sure what they were. This was good too but also overpriced. 4/5 ($20) Honey ryder pizza - mozzarella, pepperoni and hot honey. Very good pizza. Nice and fresh 4/5 ($23) Johnny Utah - bacon, pineapple, mozzarella and red onion. This was alright. Toppings were a little sparse. 3/5 ($24) Usually I would take off two stars when there's a hefty price tag and small portions but beach club will be an exception because the food was all prepared very well and tasted great.
