We visit quite regularly to enjoy a snack while resting our feet and counting our winnings(?) Service is sub par as for quickness but is acceptable. The ambiance is your typical casino feeling, nothing spectacular. The food is okay for the most part...the best part: Food Comps.

I was at Golden Nugget and wanted some food. Looked around and saw Rosie's Cafe. Walking up there's plenty of seating. Waited to be seated close to 15 minutes. I was told because of a shift change. Some guy at the register walked over and took us to a table because we were there so long. Sat for a minute and a manager walked over and took care of us. The menu had a lot of options on there. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Plate. The Chicken Parmesan was ok....noodles with sauce was ok....maxed vegetables were good....garlic bread was ok. If you're in the area swing by.

Chicken parm. Not the greatest. But big portions

Chicken Parm - Sauce - watery but with a decent flavor Chicken - large and cooked well Beans - who the hell serves green beans with spaghetti? Garlic bread - hard as a rock Overall a C My wife said her taco salad was a C+ The highlight was watching 4 tables around us complain. One asked for no cheese on something and got cheese. One person asked to substitute something and the waiter said "sure" and then charged them $4 extra. One was pissed about poor quality of food. The manager was going table to table trying to appease customers. I let the fact that he took our plates to the wrong table, set them down and was walking away when the customer said "this isn't what we ordered".

I went to Rosie's pretty late at 12:00am. As the only people in the place the service was terrible, I ordered a Michelada and on the menu it says a modelo, with lime, tomato recipe and tajin and instead I got a Heineken, and a salt rim, like what the hell is that. I then asked for a modelo and she walked away frustrated and grabbed a modelo, the others at the table asked for twice Bloody Marys and a coffee, we then never got the coffee until we had to ask for it again after our food got here, mind you we are the only people in the restaurant the only people no online orders to my knowledge and the only table with 1 server. We got our food which was mid lowkey, it was just a jumbled mess of eggs, sausage, and hash brown, we expected it on the side but that's on us , for not asking about it. The Michelada was more like a Bloody Mary with beer which is gross not a proper Michelada. This is the late night menu with a terrible server, I would preferred Denny's at a busy night we would still get more attention there than here. Mind you the ONLY people there is no other tables and it was a mid experience, terrible service and mid food. We always came here for dinner every thanksgiving and I am the most disappointed this time and we probably won't be back im disappointed.

Great service. Very friendly and personable. Could do without the smell of cigarettes but unfortunately it comes with the territory (here for work and this is where they put us). They are in fact open 24/7 again, except the first Tuesday of every month for a super deep clean of their restaurant. Food is decent in a pinch if you do not have a ride to other places. $2 charge if you take your food order to go.

9/14/2024 On the way back from a very good fishing day.. Needed to use the restrooms.. Starving and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Ordered the Nugget burger and a blt.. Split in half to try ..both.. Really good burger and Blt.. Onion rings were big and crispy.. Fries could have been cooked longer.. Service attentive..

Service here was very fast. Food was good. The only thing I'd say is the service has no personality. We were greeted " what do you want to drink" Didn't have to wait for anything , food quality was great. The banana nut bread French toast is

Locals specials include $5 biscuits and gravy or $6 pancakes. The biscuits were huge but very dry and tasked like flour. The gravy covers what up well enough with huge portions. Was worth $5 obviously but not too much more. Service was slow and unconcerned about our experience but nothing wrong. All in all, an average diner in a casino.

We went to the Nugget in Sparks for the FIRST TIME since the ownership change on March 25th, 2024, and we literally did not know what to expect. We really wanted to visit the Steakhouse where they served DELICIOUS steak sandwiches. Alas, the Steakhouse is no more, nor is the little coffeeshop at the front. Oyster Bar is still there, as is Rosie's Cafe, so we went to Rosie's ( 3:00 in the afternoon). Rosie's is exactly as we remembered, warm and comfortable. Linda was our server, and she was simply wonderful. Friendly, helpful and so personable. The food was very good, and the service was great. We may return in the next couple of months to visit the "Chophouse", whatever that is! We wish the new Nugget all the best in the future.

First and foremost our server, Camisha was excellent! She was a comedian, kind, fast, organized and remembered everyone's order. We had a large group of 20+. She was able to split the bill with no problem. She was the highlight of our visit. The food wasn't bad either. Diner worthy. My monte Cristo sandwich was deep fried and tasty. Other items ordered were the chicken Parmesan, fried chicken, spaghetti, BLTA, chicken Alfredo, and more. The only complaint was about the Alfredo. I have to agree as I took a bite and it just didn't taste right. We all had a good laugh when the wine was served and came in plastic cups and one had a straw. I'm sure it was to identify which was cab or merlot. Someone ordered croutons to munch on. That was also a treat and we giggled over the specific appetizer that everyone wanted a bite of. It wasn't crowded and we all sat together. A good time was had by all.

We were seated right away on a Sunday at 6pm before a big show in the theater. Unfortunately our table was not that clean. The chairs had crumbs and the floor below the table was riddled with food. Our waitress was friendly and helpful when I asked her if she could sweep it up. I ordered a $19 burger and fries which was very delicious. The bun was pillowy soft just like I prefer and the slices of bacon and tomato made this burger one that I could go back for.

My husband and I checked out the breakfast menu on our last day there and liked what they had to offer so we went inside to dine. This restaurant was well kept and clean. Everyone was so nice, kind and helpful. This restaurant is GRAND! Our server was attentive and helpful. She checked in on us a few times and refilled our coffee. My husband ordered a Denver omelet and it came with toast and hashbrowns. I ordered fruit and a parfait. The amount of fruit I got was so much! Immediately loved the vibe; colorful, mural filled space with many seating options, a lunch counter and an outdoor patio area. Super chill, friendly staff serving an eclectic clientele. I'd give it five stars if they were a bit more on point with the Cuban end of things. My wife and I are Anglos, but we're both Miami natives, so we're kind of purists when it comes to our Cuban stuff. This was definitely more "Latin inspired." We were looking forward to traditional pastelitos, but found they had more Mexican sweets and a guava and cheese brioche, which was delicious, but not authentic. Our Cuban sandwich had no pork and the wrong bread (and came with tortilla chips?), but the sandwich itself was quite tasty. And our cafe cubano was a nice coffee, but a bit thin and had only the amount of sugar a sane person would add, which is about a third of what would be in the real deal. So if you want authentic Cuban, this isn't really it. But if you're looking for good coffee and food served by cool people in a warm, funky environment, this place rocks.

We ordered the Pablo and cafe con agave. Giving 4 stars as I originally wanted to order the cafe con Platano half sweet, but I was told it was premade and could not make customizations.
