What a fabulous Five Star Veggie Omelet with extra avocado and extra tomatoes at Pegs in Lemmon Valley. Food is Art. Julie A

Pegs is a fantastic breakfast restaurant. Excellent Food, outstanding Service and prices were fair. I loved my vegetarian omelet, toast and coffee. It was so large I took half of it home. See you all very soon. Great homey atmosphere. Lemmon Valley is awesome! Loved it so much. Julie A

What's to say about pegs? Pegs hits the spot when you're craving breakfast or lunch. It's a nice little restaurant that hits the spot when craving generous portions be it one of the many omelettes they offer or pancake breakfasts. Everytime I've been here I always leave satisfied and full. The service is always great too. Never a bad experience here. Try this place out if you haven't already! You won't be disappointed.

Great spot to have breakfast or lunch. You always get lots of food... I had the breakfast burrito which had eggs, ham, onions, peppers, cheese, and a red sauce... may have had other items too but I only got about 1/3 through after having some beans and hash browns. I have enough for another meal. Service was super friendly and attentive with refilling drinks. I sat and watched the cook fix orders and he was always busy and knew what he was doing. Place was open with seating and it was nice to where you could talk without yelling if ya needed to. You get unlimited tortillas or toast depending on what ya order too.

We were seated pretty quickly and greeted by a very friendly server. I had the sausage Benedict and it was a huge portion and very yummy. My husband had the corned beef hash and eggs and really enjoyed it.

Peg's has been my favorite breakfast go to for years! Usually we go to the downtown location, but decided to try out the Lemmon location since it is closer to us. I am happy to say quality is spot on! This location is very clean, nice warm diner feel to it. The service as always is fantastic, waitress was very quick and you never run out of coffee. The serving size here is massive! My husband and I always get one plate and split it. You cannot go wrong with Peg's chicken fried steak, it's always super crispy and juicy and huge! Everything was cooked to perfection and I am happy I now have a new go to location for Peg's.

As far as classic diners go, Peg's has always been #1 on my list. I have never been to this location before and was pleasantly surprised that it is just as great as the downtown location. Service here is great, and you don't go more than 60 seconds with your surprisingly tasty coffee below 1" full.... This location is super clean, and deceptively large once you come through the front entrance. Food was great, nice thick and rich country gravy, totally crispy chicken fried steak, fluffy eggs, and crispy hash browns. The all you can eat sourdough on the side, also is the bee's knees. Life hack is getting the side sausage patty and adding it to your gravy.

Meat Lover's Omelette with Mushrooms and Onions

So it's been a long minute since I've gone out for breakfast. Let me just say it was well worth the wait. We had some time to kill as the dog was at the groomers and it would be a bit before she would be ready. We were greeted right away and shown to our table. Our server came over right away and offered us drinks. I got coffee and ice water and took a minute to look over the menu as I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted. The coffee was delicious, it had a great flavor. I decided to get the Meat, Lovers Omelette with onions and mushrooms. I had asked for crispy hashbrowns, and the multigrain toast, as it's one of my favorites. When the food arrived, everything was perfect. The omelette was huge and overflowing with ingredients. The hashbrowns are cooked to perfection, nice and crispy, and the toast pure heaven! That's all that was left when I remembered to take a picture

Had a great brunch date with my sweetie at Peg's. We were seated immediately upon arrival, which was totally unexpected. The booth we sat at though needed some love. MAJOR LOVE! The cushions on both sides were cracked and had holes in them. We found the comfortable zones on each side but this is an indicator of a severe need for updates or repairs to seating that has similar issues. Now the food.... Amazing, as always. I got three pancakes and wanted the other extras so I added in two eggs, sausage, and a side of hash browns. I mean, cmon, you have to have their hash browns!!! Everything was awesome. Cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and comforting.

The best French toast I ever had very clean. Service is good. They serve a lot so don't order too much price is right.

15 dollars and is two meals worth of good stuff. If you are a slaw and kraut fan, it has good slaw!!

Came here for a bargain. The menu does indeed have one. Look at the 6oz sausage and egg patty breakfast and see that the huevos rancheros is the same price.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! You have earned a few new fans today.

Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

Brunch is all day on Sundays however they do have a lunch menu starting at 12pm, so we ordered from each menu. The ahi nachos were great, thick pieces of tuna and a great sauce drizzled over. The Mushroom Lover's Omelette was fluffy and had a LOT of gruyere. The potatoes it came with were herbaceous and very well fried. When we arrived, every table was full, so we grabbed seats at the bar. It turned out to be a great spot to watch the bartenders create beautiful drinks, including some of their signature cocktails served in a glass purse for parties of two or more. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with groups celebrating birthdays and other special occasions. After looking over the menu, we decided on the lox crostini bites and the bruschetta. We each ordered a glass of sparkling wine. I added a chocolate rim to mine, which was fun to look at, although it didn't add much flavor. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed watching the flowing chocolate waterfall. Considering how busy the bar was, our food arrived quickly. The crostini were crisp, and both appetizers were fresh and flavorful. The only drawback was the volume of the DJ, but we knew what to expect as soon as we walked through the door. This is definitely a fun place for parties and groups looking for a lively night out. One last observation: I probably wouldn't choose this spot for a group of men. The décor and overall vibe are very much geared toward women, but the name says it all.

Treated myself to a slow morning and took a short, pleasurable ramble over to Pine State from the Renaissance. It was early, just after opening time, and there was only one other person dining in - so grabbing a table was super easy. Pine State hails from Oregon originally, and the space feels like Portland or NorCal transported to Nevada. Cool, hip and funky. I was excited to have a chance to try the Veggie Reggie, being a vegetarian, biscuits and gravy a usually off limits for me. This one features a vegan breakfast patty, soy bacon, and Tillamook cheddar topped with shiitake mushroom gravy - so it was on! The Reggie came out quickly and looked amazing! Huge and oh-so decadent. I got there right at opening and I think the staff were still getting into the swing of the day, because my gravy was pretty cold, which was a disappointment - and probably muted the flavor a bit. I also appreciated the early am fine cup of coffee.

Unfortunately, we were stuck back in the rear corner of the building on this visit. The vibes back there are not nearly as nice as the up-front dining. Service was still good even though we were out of view of the main dining area. We started with the cauliflower appetizer. Very well cooked, perfectly tender, and the Calabrian chili oil was perfect for adding some spice. We then ordered entrees, which included the duck duo and a Caesar salad. The Caesar is nothing to write home about. It's fresh and from scratch, but it's just a Caesar. The duck duo came with both duck confit and duck breast. The duck confit was unreal. So tender and so flavorful. The duck breast was a bit tough for my liking, but I really enjoyed the sauce they used on the dish. Most of all, I was shocked by how good the dessert was. We ordered the cast-iron chocolate cake, and it was unbelievable. The sauce that bubbles away in the hot cast iron was spooned onto the rich cake and topped with vanilla ice cream. Nothing better! I miss the old Liberty that used to offer daily specials and killer deals on pasta and pizza, but the new Liberty ain't so bad.
