One of the best sandwich spots in Walnut Creek, hands down especially if you're craving a turkey sandwich. I'm a huge sandwich lover and pretty hard to impress when it comes to food, but this place absolutely delivered. The freshness of the bread, roasted turkey, and every ingredient made such a difference. I created my own sandwich with sliced sourdough, roasted turkey, Monterey Jack cheese, mayo, yellow mustard, pepperoncini, basil pesto, lettuce, and onions. It sounds simple, but the quality and freshness of the ingredients made it incredibly delicious. I had the bread toasted, and it tasted just like a homemade sandwich which I loved. The owner was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and super chill, making the whole experience even better. It's a cute little spot that also offers pastries and drinks, and I can't wait to try those on my next visit. I'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Stopped by for a car wash and walked over to Rosie's -- just 5 minutes away and super convenient. They've got a full coffee bar, pastries, and sandwiches. I ordered the hot pastrami on sourdough with onions and pepperoncini... and wow. It was loaded -- 1 lb 8 oz of perfectly seasoned pastrami. Definitely worth it. Also grabbed a slice of carrot cake, which was delicious. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I wanted to grab a quick lunch and found this cafe/sandwich spot. It looks like a small business which I prefer over franchise establishments. I'm always looking for new small businesses to support, so I was rooting for a positive experience. I'm very picky when it comes to how my sandwich is prepared. I hate dry sandwiches! I ordered the Turkey, Bacon and Avocado and my husband got the hot pastrami sandwich. When we received our order, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the sandwiches. After taking my first bite, I got that mmmmm good feeling throughout my body! The sandwich was juicy, just how I like it. They have some kind of secret garlic sauce that they toss in with the lettuce, which was a nice touch and delicious!!!! It taste speciality made with love. I also tried my husband's pastrami sandwich and it was good too. I ended up ordering one to go for dinner because I'm greedy. The owner and staff were so attentive and welcoming to everyone coming in and out. It was extremely clean and comfortable. I also ordered the Apple Cinnamon cake, and it melted in my mouth. It was so good, with the right amount of sweetness. Another plus side is, there is parking in the back which was super convenient. No more door dashing those other sandwich places, Rosie's is my go to now!

Service is excellent Ambiance nice not crowded when we were there. We had lots of questions since it was our first time here. The soup was good nice lemony flavor with chicken and rice. Sort of like a Greek soup. Sandwich I ordered a regular roast beef with the way it comes for me trying it as they suggest makes sense to me. However this time my only complaint was the soft roll. It seemed day old or two days old. Falling apart upon the first bite. They came over and asked so I let them know. They made it right by us and remade our sandwiches and the owner gave us two pastries for our troubles. I'm not sure if I'd drive all the way out here again. I'll think about it. See how our remade sandwiches are at home.

So what can we say? At least this time I remembered to take pics before gobbling down the sandwiches. Again, I don't know how they do it, but they've perfected the combination of filling to bread to yumminess. And they're huge sandwiches. My daughter said the pastrami was so good it was like 'butter' melt in your mouth goodness. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. Great combo of veggies and the Rosie sauce. I took pics of the inside this time while I waited. It's small but had a few tables with fresh flowers, stools, and a water station. Everything was super clean. They did have a baked goods section so need to try that one day. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommended.

We are always on the look out for great pastrami sandwiches and the Hot Pastrami sandwich at Rosie's is very delicious. The sandwich has a wonderful "Rosie sauce" that has no mayo but you can ask for some mayo to be spread on your bread if you want! Rosie's Hot Pastrami sandwich has a nice balance of pastrami and lettuce with the right amount of "Rosie sauce" . The Dutch Crunch bread goes great with the Hot Pastrami! Rosie's also offers a full selection of espresso drinks. They have both sweetened and unsweetened ice tea, the later you can ask to add your choice of different Italian Torani' flavos . They have a variety of desserts as well. Come check this sandwich shop out. It is definitely worth your while!

Went here this morning with my bf! He ordered an iced latte and a roast beef sandwich. I ordered the apple almond blueberry coconut muffin and the pumpkin chocolate chip walnut cake. He really enjoyed the sandwich and loved the sauce that it came with however he said the iced latte could be better. The sandwich was okay and I'm not a coffee connoisseur so I can't tell what makes a good coffee or not but I did try both. The apple almond was my favorite however I really wanted to like the pumpkin chocolate chip walnut cake so bad but I didn't... there's herbs or something in it that I was not a fan of HOWEVER my bf likes the pumpkin cake more than the muffin. So it's not that their food was bad but definitely personal preferences/taste. The waitress was kind and the place is small but such a cute interior. 100% the fact that the pastries were warmed up! Def an experience I recommend to try!

Husband got me a triple decker sandwich from here. SOOO GOOOD! honestly not a bacon person but the bacon in this was a game changer. Sucha a big sandwich split in two! would definitely stop by when I'm around the area again.

Cute little spot that serves up a solid sandwich. We had a Pastrami Sandwich and a Roast Beef Sandwich. The Pastrami meat was flavorful and juicy. The dutch crunch bread held up well against the juices and the sauce that they used. Very good. The Roast Beef was pretty standard but made two meals for the wife! She wasn't thrilled with the soft roll but the overall sandwich was still tasty. Great customer service and the turn around from ordering at the counter to being handed two sandwiches was very reasonable. The breakfast items looked very tempting so now we'll need to come back for those too :) Coming back for sandwiches? Yes, we will!

I was in the Concord area and came across this place on Yelp. It's located on a main thoroughfare in Concord and is also a cafe. I went there for a sandwich. I ordered the turkey and bacon sandwich on a Dutch crunch roll. It was okay, but comparable to other delis I've had better.

Met the owner Selena today - super kind lady! Decided to sit down and enjoy my hazelnut latte and got a pastrami sandwich to go. (Sandwich was pretty good!!) So cozy inside and service was great! My dog and I felt welcomed!

My friends got me a vegan sandwich (and passed the ordering for a vegan test). I was running an errand and my friends thoughtfully volunteered to get me a sandwich. It is called "vegan sandwich" that has a lot of veggies that make me smile. The test was when their sandwich maker asked if they wanted cheese. LOL. Fortunately they passed the test and said no, which is awesome because I would have gotten sick. Sandwich was full of thinly sliced cucumber, Avocado, fresh tomato slice, and lots of well dressed (seasoned) shredded lettuce. Overall filling and would order again if in the area.

I figured I'd go with the $13 one, why not? Then I quickly realized that the ordering system was a whole mess. It gave me the option to customize my sandwich, but some of the required fields didn't make any sense at all. For example, I don't like olives, but it required me to select olives. Then there were 2 separate sections for extra meat and extra ingredients, and those were required too, and both came with additional charges!!! I thought requiring customers to add extra ingredients and charging them extra because of that was totally ridiculous. If I don't want extra meat or extra ingredients, I should be able to leave those options blank and still place my order. But I couldn't proceed to place my order if I didn't select those. I ended up trying to go with the $17 option instead with minimal customization options. I eventually just placed the order, went to the store, and picked it up. As for the sandwich itself, it was pretty standard in size and the quality was decent, but there really wasn't much going on inside. It was basically just bread, meat, and cheese. There weren't even any vegetables! No lettuce whatsoever. I thought that was really weird for a sandwich to be very bare like this, especially given that the final total cost was $19 for a single sandwich from a small deli. I expected a lot more from a sandwich at that price! Again, the sandwich wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was worth $19.

This message is purely on the price and the service of things I came in with my 2 daughters and ordered a total of 5 sandwiches, 3 of which were literally ham and cheese for my obvious 2 daughters that were with me and 1 for my son who was at home when asked if plain I said yes they just want ham and cheese and plain no mayo on one due to my small daughter being picky on sliced bread at that.. He makes them and it comes out to 70 dollars.. I had to get more money as my husband had sent it to me , the guy who made my sandwiches told the guy that I needed to pay and the shorter guy replied to him like yeah I told her, but she needs more money. I kind of felt embarrassed due to the tone he had said it in, needless to say when I was paying, I said something along the lines of $70 was kind of a lot. I didn't know that ham and cheese for a kid would be this expensive in which the guy replied we have kids sandwiches All you have to do is ask... I did not feel like that was a kind response..as again there was attitude.. I paid anyway and I get it things are expensive nowadays and something like a ham and cheese I probably could've made at home but decided to support a local business instead... suggest maybe adding kid options to the menu that's up above and a smile would go very far. I won't be going here again unfortunately.
