As a long term customer of Ross stores, I'm so excited and happy to know that the city I just moved into, has a great selection of merchandise and amazing customer service through and through. I just moved to the city of La Crescenta and when I searched for the nearest Ross, this location appeared and did not disappoint. I'm now a frequent shopper and after getting to know some of the staff members I've gotten to know that with new management they're definitely trying their best to revamp store quality and service. I met Leticia the new store supervisor who shared her goals and ideas for shorter wait times, organization for easier shopping, and prices that we will not find anywhere else and that made me even more excited to come weekly and see the new inventory. Self-checkout makes so much sense in cutting down the wait time for those ready to check out. Of course, like any other stores in America, theft is an issue and at this Ross I don't mind the security tags attached to many of the items because it's protocol purposes and it ensures safe keeping. I can trust that I will be purchasing items that are well kept, organized with customer experience in mind, and am able to checkout with ease. 10/10 Ross. I've enjoyed this Frost for nearly 25 years that we've lived here.... I got nothing but the experiences and prices and nice customer service at this particular location. Sadly the one in Sunland is not nearly as nice as far as staff... Now I'm not saying that the cashiers aren't so and so and blah blah blah but I am saying that one particular cashier and a manager today went out of their way to condescending dismissive not listening and speaking over me.... It was a simple request for an exchange and they had to come out with all guns of blurring trying to prove that they had the power over the customer.... I've already gone on the website I've already complained about the one in Sunland but again I enjoy shopping at Ross. Is this a war zone? Why is there a security guard with a bullet proof vest on? I came here during the weekday and I bought 1 plastic organizer for $3.99. I go to the self checkout. Ok, I came here specifically because I had a wonderful first experience at this Ross. I was in the area for dinner and a hike, and I thought I would stop by (because I'm obsessed with Ross) This location is HUGE. Also, the parking lot is huge (yay). There was so much selection and everything was so organized. I found a lot of gems in there and I was so in awe of all the variety at this location. However, I specifically wanted to give a shout out to the young woman who helped me. I believe her name was Grace (receipt says Assoc: 2076881). She was very friendly, helpful and QUICK. I was on a break from work and needed a few things for my kitchen as some stuff I have has gone through some wear & tear over the years. I purchased a sink caddy, a solid turner, a nonstick pan, 2 dishwashing soaps, and a OXO Container for $30+. Very affordable. This location has very neat and clean aisles. I also noticed they had a self check out with about 4 registers. You'll still need an attendant to take out the security tag if your items have one. This location has to be my favorite as other locations I've gone to are quite messy. I was in and out of there within a hour since I knew what I was looking for. I like this store and have been going there for years but the bathroom are always dirty, messy and stinky with tp and paper towels all over the floor. I've even seen dried poop on the toilet seat. I've complained multiple times to the management but nothing ever changes. Youd think in these times with covid going around they would try to be more sanitary. Totally discusting. read more

The Ross prices are definitely super good, especially for the quality that you receive on the clothing. However, you do have to sift through some of the racks in order to find that piece of clothing that you're looking for but I find that provides a little bit of thrill to finding a piece of clothing, sort of like a treasure hunt in a way. This Ross is also relatively clean and holds everything from clothing for babies, teenagers, men, and women alike. They also have shoes and accessories. This Ross is also very organized and the staff is nice, polite and helpful. read more

You can count on at least two employees staring blankly into the void instead of working a register. It's a hot mess here, but man can you find a lot of great deals if you take the time and patience to find it! I have bought things in the women's (clothes), men's (clothes), children's (clothes), household (photo albums), and pet sections (toys and bedding). Check out line can be long, but they always have interesting things to look at and possibly buy while you wait. Love it that they do that, but it can add up before you know it. The staff here are unhelpful. If you happen to be the only black person in the store security follows you around. So does staff. They don't have much selection of women's shoes over size 10. About 8 pair of shoes and boots combined in sizes 11 and 12. It's a Ross so everything is picked over but more than usual at this location. Even the other shoppers were rude. A woman cut in front of me in line and acted like she didn't see me there - all 6 feet of me and my cart full of wares. I wanted to give a big thank you to 2 sales people that I had the pleasure of experiencing. Kevin and Nadine. I went shopping at this Ross about 3 weeks ago and I watched them interact with people. I was so impressed how nice they were to everyone including me. I walked up to each of them and asked their names so I could personally thank them for being so kind and going out of the way to be nice to people. Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service! I will NEVER shop there again. I took my mom shopping there the other day, and we bought a lot of merchandise. Some of the things we bought were glass and breakable. We were told that we could not take the buggy outside so that we could load our bags into the car. The option we were given was we could go get our car bring it to the front and load our car up there. The breakable items that we purchased were just put into a bag nothing was wrapped up and when I asked if they could wrap them the cashier told me no they don't do that. She attempted to put all the breakables together in one plastic bag and when I told her not to she gave me an attitude saying I wasn't going to do that. My arms were full of bags 1 of them broke and she was trying to hand me more packages. I told her I only have 2 hands and I need the buggy and she said I'm sorry you can't take them outside. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered and I will never ever shop there again horrible store, horrible employees, horrible attitudes! read more

I have visited this location a few times. Often times its hit or miss. Sometimes they have AMAZING deals on items that you can't find anywhere else. sometimes they don't. Theres enough parking but the place can get busy at times. The one thing that gives this place 2 stars instead of 3 is that the clothes are often thrown around and nobody picks them up. Its chaos trying to find the item you want especially when they are on the floor. I suggest trying different locations before you have to come to this one. read more

I've never walked into this store and not been greeted warmly, which I cant say for all of the locations I visit in los angeles. I believe they unload new shipment on Tuesday, this is the best day to go in the middle of the week. If you are a regular, the employees treat you as friends and a few even know me on a first name basis. I am always able to find what I need and it's perfect for last minute clothing. I found it overpriced-, understaffed-, and way too messy -- compared to a lot of other Ross stores out there. If you visit this store in the evening, don't come alone. The high score is because the goods in this store are GOOD. Have you ever been to a Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Nordstro Rack and left with a feeling of disappointment? There's a ton of good sh*t in here. I came here looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and tried on about 10 before whittling it down to 1. The dress section is HUGE..yes, you have to flip through the racks but there's 4-5 dresses of women's dresses and juniors dresses also. The shoe section is also pretty large and has a lot of 7's and 8's...(and 5's, these stores always have so many 5's.) A lot of pretty shoes here. and Yes, there seems to be a lot of immigrants and maybe a lot o the workers are Armenian but it's California, what do you expect? (Ray L , Jackie H: I'm talking to you) If you want to be in a sea of white americans...welll I don't know where you should go, Kansas, Utah, Missouri, Nebraska? The workers at Ross that I encountered were courteous. The workers at Ross aren't there to help you find your size..They're putting merch out, and the cash wrap, attending to fitting rooms and cleaning up the aisles. If you came to Ross to get customer service, maybe you should leave and go have some fine dining at McDonalds while you're at it. The line is long because people want to buy things on discount. There's lots of people at Ross because it has a lot of stuff to sell...but there's usually 5-6 cashiers so it doesn't take that long. read more

Pros: location of the store, perfect! It's so close to my work that when I feel like I need some retail therapy, I can go during my break. Wide selection of clothes, shoes, jewelry. The best I've see from the Ross stores I have visited. Not too hard to find treasures. Clean and pretty organized for a Ross. Cons: always under staffed! I have walked out two or three times due to how ridiculously long that checkout line gets--and it has been on weekdays at noon! I wish they would have more than 2-3 cashiers open. I haven't had any problems with customer service, but I do wish the Armenian ladies that work there (90% of the staff) would speak more English and not only Armenian...ALL the time! Makes me wonder if they're talking about the customers :/ just plain rude. Bottom line: come with plenty of time and be prepared to stand in line for a while. The buddy system is a good idea--one waits while the other stands in line. read more
