This is one of the best local spots around. The food is amazing and the service is incredible! What a great place!

For some reason, we've overlooked this amazing restaurant in our new-in-town culinary explorations. Just when I was starting to think that Hershey has a glut of gastropubs, we discover this truly original gem! Check out the menu and you'll see many truly unique items, starting with the appetizers all the way through the lengthy dessert section. In my case I ordered the Lightning Cattle Wagyu Smash Burger, which, in addition to the Wagyu beef, was topped with smoked cheddar cheese, coffee braised onions and BACON JAM, and wrapped in a sesame seed brioche bun. I've never had anything like it! Usually I only eat half of a burger and bring the other half home for later, but I inhaled the whole thing. The burger was rounded out with homemade potato chips and a dill pickle. My wife chose the Holiday Sammy, which was a turkey breast sandwich topped with brie, cranberry mayo and stuffing, all lovingly wrapped in two slices of pumpkin bread, and complemented with chips and a pickle. The pumpkin bread sounded too unusual for me, but I had a couple bites and was very pleasantly surprised at how well the flavors and textures worked together. I wish we had a chance to try one of the many desserts, but we were with a large group which made ordering anything beyond the main course (e.g., beer or dessert) too complicated. We'll definitely be returning again soon!

Cute place. From the outside it looks small but a nice size inside. Has a full size bar you can sit at. The parking situation is small and can be tight for bigger cars. Walked in was greeted by the hostess. Ordered the devil eggs and steak tacos. Both dishes were good. I was really shocked how good the tacos were.

I really enjoyed myself at Rotunda. If you follow my reviews, you know that I love breweries and I take every opportunity to visit them when I travel. Rotunda had a welcoming feel to it. On top of their beers on tap, they also featured cocktails from a local distillery. They featured several IPAs and several Sours. I'm not a fan of sours and IPAs can be hit or miss, so I chose a cerveza. Can't go wrong! It was very good and I was happy to see that they had an extensive happy hour selection. I chose the burnt ends. Honestly, I wasn't impressed but I don't like sweet things and the BBQ sauce was too sweet for me. I also found them to be a bit on the fatty side. Everything that came out looked good so I think it was just a personal preference of mine. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service and do think it's a fun place to check out!

Decided to stop in for dinner since it was right across from our hotel. Absolutely fantastic experience. The staff here is soooooo incredibly friendly and welcoming! We had the cheesesteak potato skins that were a March special and they were delicious! Caesar salad was one of the best I've had and the tacos were delicious. For beer, we tried a selection but the sour patch kid one was delicious! Could not more highly recommend checking this place out for some delicious scratch made food and fun beer choices!

Excellent walk over place from Hampton while in town for huge event at Hershey. Sat right away 7pm on Thursday, server Cody was awesome! Daily specials mon- thur. Fall decorated. Drink specials plus full bar. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, hubs got Halibut tacos which were filling and delicious. I enjoyed the Fish & Chips with no complaints. Highly recommend the Orange dreamsicle cheesecake dessert- yum. Cody was friendly, energetic, knowledgeable about the area since we were new here, seemed to serve most of back room without any trouble! Totally enjoyed this place and will be back. Crazy how affordable too!

Beautifully decorated dining area. Low sitting chairs.

Great afternoon meet up w great friends. This restaurant was the hallway mark for a few friends and I, so we made it happen. It was a little difficult to locate from busy main street, but I found it. The dining room was pretty warm and welcoming. All that was missing was a fire pit and s'more skewers!! Lol Willow came over to assist us instantly. She was super sweet and kind. Accurate order taking and expedited table service. Collectively, we ordered the following. Brew Pub Pretzel - Soft, delish, and warm. Blistered Breakfast Brussels - Super tasty and crispy. Smoked Wings (BBQ, Old Bay) - Both wing orders were a great size and well seasoned. Breakfast Skillet - Mediocre. Discrepancy w the eggs and the bacon was missing. Willow immediately fixed the situation. A couple nopes: They ask if you want Blue Cheese or Ranch for wings and then silently CHARGE you. I selected ranch so I could take home to whoever wanted leftovers, but I could have left it there at the restaurant. I'm allergic to both anyway. Aaannnddddddd, there was a charge to use cc. I had cash in my pocket. NOW, it is printed quite small at the bottom of receipt, so they did their due diligence. I just ain't like it. Overall, I enjoyed myself and would definitely return again if in the area.

This is one of the best restaurants in the Hershey/Palmyra area. Always get a great meal, with fast and friendly service. Today I tried the Wagyu smash burger. This was the best hamburger I have had in a very long time. It was so tasty, and had a "jam" on it that was perfect. It didn't have the usual accompaniments like lettuce tomato or onion, but it didn't need them. Thank you Rotunda for another excellent dining experience. Also, they are a brewpub, and the beer I had with lunch was excellent as well.

Delicious Duck and a fancy smash burger.

We had a nice server. I wish I could recall her name, but she made our visit so nice. We had a reservation for NYE, and they gave us a classy table. The beer is good. I like the two unfiltered IPAs I tried. I like a bolder hop presentation, but the ales from rotunda might be more appealing for most. The food is good. The ravioli with the duck was the weakest item of the night.

Do they only serve their beers?

No, they serve brand-names as well.

I see that Yelp says vegan options, however looking at the menu the only one I see is a burger. Are there additional vegan options? I have visitors coming next month who are strict vegan and I would like to take them out to eat at least once.

The menu changes fairly routinely, but vegan options are very limited here in my experience. There is often a pasta dish or a grain bowl that could fit the bill, maybe requiring a little modification or maybe not. Their current menu is always on…

They boast whiskeys from around the world and my friend ordered a unique cocktail - Bananas Foster Old Fashioned. The bar food was really good- the wings were my fave- fried but not breaded. The pretzel was so filling - meats and cheeses - like a charcuterie board. It was a great first and last stop to our concert night! It closes at midnight- wish it would stay open until 1 on concert nights.

I thought this was an ideal spot, so off we went. Iberian Lounge is located on the second floor of the hotel, off the fountain lobby across from Trevi 5. The space is kinda large for a lounge - they have a mixture of tables with soft furniture, a couple of couches, and stools at the bar. The decor has a somewhat Spanish theme (hence the name), and it matches the former hotel lobby it sits off of. In addition to the obligatory drinks, the lounge also serves food. We were gonna eat later, though, so we opted to just have the former. I was in Hershey so I wanted to try one of their signature drinks so I went with their Hershey's Kiss Signature Martini. This kinda blew my mind if I'm being honest - the drink was clear like a martini but it tasted so much like a Hershey's Kiss - my mind couldn't comprehend this as i consumed the delicious sips. Service was great, everyone was friendly and our drinks came out promptly. Overall, I had a great experience at Iberian Lounge - the drinks were fun, and the atmosphere was comfortable. This is an ideal place to chill while at Hotel Hershey.

The atmosphere was fun, utilizing retired ride vehicles as booths and playing into the park setting. As expected in Hershey, the menu explored how chocolate can be integrated into a very American menu. I enjoyed the pulled pork grilled cheese: the chocolate barbecue sauce reminded me of a lighter molasses-based sauce so it worked with the barbecue. We had the Ferris Wheel appetizer which was mostly a win, but the items could have shown up on a TGI Friday's menu. The next day, to escape the millions of middle schoolers in the park (I have a whole travelogue brewing for that) we came back because I wanted one of their gigantic milkshakes. The Reese's peanut butter shake was peanut butter to the Nth degree, and it was topped by an entire slice of peanut butter pie. My friend got a stomachache but I love anything peanut butter so this was a win for me. Both times the service was really good. Our servers were friendly and attentive so we never felt we were being ignored or passed over. A+ in the service department.

I do favor chocolate as far as candy wise but not too excited when it is on food. So I was very skeptical. Me and my family had a wild day at Hershey Park and I figured we should end the day with a dine. So I chose The Chocolatier. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated immediately without any wait. I loved the fun decoration of The Chocolatier. Our Waitress Ella came 10 minutes after we were seated and took our drinks. I ordered Ferris Wheel Sampler, Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Taco, Park Breeze, and 3 Cookies and Cream Milkshakes. If you think this is a little bit of food then you are wrong lol. Hubby only wanted the milkshake. And my daughter also only wants the milkshake. The other items are all for me:) Ferris Wheel Sampler looks really cute but I found the appetizers to be very mediocre. Shrimp Cocktail's shrimps are overcooked and extremely chewy. Lobster Taco are mediocre as well. And the Cookies and Cream milkshake are not actually cookies and cream ice cream, it tastes like vanilla ice cream mix with cookies. Will I come back? Maybe, but I won't get these again! My bill is around $167 and I left Ella a $40 tip. For a meal that's over $200, I expect to eat better. Even though The Chocolatier accept Apple Pay, you have to walk with your server to their station in order to pay for it. Payment system is outdated. Unlike The Yard House and other restaurant, you can paid at your table.

This is fantastic both with or without the crostini bread. The menu did say truffle and hot honey glaze however, I only tasted the traditional honey flavor. No heat or truffle flavors. Crab cake - single 8/10 Crab cake was good. I liked the panko crust on it. It was just a hair dry, so it really needed a sauce. However the whole grain mustard "sauce" that it came with was actually just the mustard, it was not a sauce at all- which does not pair well with the crab cake at all in my opinion- It really needed a Remoulade or aioli, just something more on the creamier side rather than straight mustard. The risotto was cooked perfectly for me, it was hard to tell what the flavor was though without reading the menu (it was lemon Parmesan). I didn't understand how the risotto got its reddish-orange color though since neither lemon or Parmesan are that color. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, and was pretty good. Center cut Filet 9/10 Ordered medium, it was cooked perfectly with a warm pink center. The mashed potatoes were super dry, they needed cream or butter or something to make them better and more flavorful. The red wine Demi was pretty good, you could definitely taste the wine and it kinda also tastes like mushrooms in a way. Asparagus again, was cooked perfect. Vanilla bean Crème brûlée 9/10 The custard was amazing- definitely a 10/10. The sugar on top is what brought me down a point because it was just so thick, it really overpowered the custard a little bit, so a thinner caramelized sugar layer would have been perfect. Chocolate Lava cake 8/10 Yummy chocolate cake with a molten lava center, paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. The "lava" in the center though was not very much, and definitely needed a little more.

Even on a weeknight, the restaurant was adequately packed, so I would strongly recommend making a reservation if you're planning to dine here. A few things to know before you go: Popular restaurant that can be quite busy, even during the work week. Reservations are a good idea, especially during dinner hours. There is a small parking lot surrounding the restaurant, as well as street parking. Both were full when I arrived. There is a free parking garage across the street behind the storefronts, which ended up being the easiest parking option. For drinks, I ordered the Peach Sangria, and it was excellent. Refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet, it paired nicely with dinner and was one of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the: Chicken Marsala Sautéed chicken breast with mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce served over house-made linguini or mashed potatoes & asparagus. Unfortunately, this dish didn't quite meet my expectations. The Marsala sauce itself was decent, but by the time the meal arrived, the linguini was somewhat cold. As a result, the noodles had begun to harden and stick together, which affected the overall experience. Considering the price point, I didn't feel the dish offered good value, and it's not something I would order again. That said, the restaurant's popularity, lively atmosphere, and excellent sangria make me interested in returning. I'd be curious to try some of the other menu offerings on a future visit, as there were several dishes that looked appealing. Overall, while my entrée was disappointing, the atmosphere and drink selection were enough that I'd be willing to give Chocolate Avenue Grill another chance.

The place has a very casual, come-as-you-are bar-and-kitchen vibe, which fits the area well. Nothing felt overly polished or fancy, and that is not a criticism. It seemed like the kind of local spot where people can just show up, relax, and get a solid meal. The problem was the service on this visit. We showed up right around the breakfast-to-lunch transition and thought we had made it in time for breakfast, but apparently not. We got seated pretty quickly, which made it seem like things were moving along, but then we sat there for about 20 minutes with water glasses and no water, and really no meaningful attention at all. By the time someone finally came over with the water, we were already done and decided to head somewhere else down the street. It was also getting fairly loud while we were sitting there, and the staff seemed tired or stretched thin, so I would not be surprised if we caught the place at a bad moment, maybe during a shift change or just an awkward transition between breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was busy, which usually says something good, and the food we saw going to other tables looked pretty solid. That is why I landed on 3 out of 5. This was not a bad experience in the usual sense. It was more of a non-experience. We never got far enough to judge the food, and I do not think it would be fair to hammer the place over one oddly timed visit. But sitting that long without even getting water was enough for us to leave.
