Food is fine. Tried to order online but website would not let me complete order. Tried to call and asked to use coupons but they won't take coupons over the phone or in store. After I placed my order on the phone I told them I wanted it at 5:30 instead of ASAP. The lady on the phone had to cancel my order and redo everything. I had a poor experience at this location and left feedback online. The issue was service related. I got a phone call the next day from the owner. He and I spoke for a few minutes and he assured me that he would look into the issues and address the concerns with the entire staff. He was very apologetic and handled my complaint with respect. I appreciate the personal service he delivered and the resolve to my complaint. I gave him a 4 star rating because he was quick on calling me. The food was great food, no argument there. By far the worst experience I've had at a round table buffet. I came in, like I have at other round tables in the past. Asking for a fresh pepperoni since there wasn't any out yet. They employee said we aren't making anymore because there's no room. Mind you it was 12:15pm and all their pizza was not fresh. Definitely been sitting out a long time. There was one other customer in the store so it was empty. I paid for two buffets plus tip and when I asked for a manager the manager shrugged me off and told her employee that yes they would bring some out. I said thank you and sat and waited. They brought out 5 slices... ... I'm 6'6 350 pounds. All I'm asking for is one complete pepperoni so that my buddy and I can enjoy it and hopefully they would bring out another one eventually. I gave my smaller buddy then comes in Marc Watson, the owner of the store. I gave my smaller buddy two slices and myself three. After about 15 minutes they brought out another pepperoni and again 5 slices. Which. By the way another customer walked in and took them all. Which I can't blame them for. I asked if they would make another one and they said no. .. I asked to speak with the manager and up walks up Marc Watson, the owner of the store. I asked him for another pepperoni and he said no because there were too many pizzas out there already. I said we don't want any of those and he said he didn't care and that he wasn't going to lose money. I said well your gonna lose a return customer if this is the way I'm gonna be treated and he immediately said "I have plenty of customers". I was floored and informed him I was going to put this on Yelp. He said with a smile that he didn't care. Please don't go to this Round Table. The employees are super friendly and helpful, even with my specific requests which some of them quickly caught onto and memorized which I cannot stress enough how this makes for lifelong customers. Especially for those of us with exact routines. I always get the large salad and it is cheap and filling with a lot of salad options. I was there a couple weeks ago and was very disappointed paying $25 for a medium King Arthur and getting a pizza that I could have bettered from the frozen food in my local 711. Excellent pizza: we had the king arthur supreme and chicken garlic gourmet pizza and it was decent compared to other roundtable pizza locations. This particular store has disgusting men's bathroom and horrible cleanliness (tables not wiped down properly snd still sticky). Salad bar looked like it wasn't kept up well either and we didn't order salad for that reason. This location needs to be better maintained, as well as better customer service... we were neither greeted nor welcomed back on the way out. read more

Best Round Table I have been to!! Employees are polite and courteous. Pizza tastes better and is more eye pleasing than others I have gone to. They definitely do not slack on the toppings. I tried this place for the first time last night. I see a lot of reviews for undercooked pizza, however I ordered 2 small skinny-bases, so obviously they cooked super quick. As for the toppings, they were OK, nothing amazing, but definitely passed the taste test. My pizza (BBQ chicken) was super BBQ-flavored, but that was my fault. I am lactose intolerant so on the rare occasions that I splurge on a pizza, I get it without cheese and any sauces with dairy. I switched out the cream sauce for BBQ, so then there were 2 serves of BBQ sauce on my pizza haha. Not their fault at all, next time I'll get BBQ & tomato perhaps. I also had to get my girlfriend's pizza with no mushrooms, which means 2 pizzas with amendments. Sorry! What I WILL say though, is that the staff were all extremely friendly & helpful. Firstly the girl who took my order was more than happy to give me an estimated cook time (as I was on the way to pick my girlfriend up from work), and after I apologized for being a pain for switching out different ingredients on different pizzas, she reassured me that it was totally fine. You'd be how surprised how often that *doesn't* happen, and being lactose intolerant, it's normally a constant barrage of rolled eyes and annoyed looks. In addition to the girl who took my order, the girl who came out to give me my pizzas (which was also a nice touch, as I would have been more than happy to pick them up at the counter) made sure to open up both of them to reassure me they took my allergy-specific order seriously. What a legend. I was totally impressed with the staff's professionalism, I wish I remembered their names so I could give them a shout out. 3 stars for the pizza. with an extra star just for the service :) read more

My husband LOVES Round Table pizza, and this location is down the street from his office, so we decided to meet for lunch and give it a try! We knew we wanted to get the lunch buffet for $6.99 a person which includes all you can eat pizza, salad bar, and cinnamon twists. You can't beat that price, especially with how expensive a normal pizza is. We called ahead to find out what kind of pizzas they normally have, and they said they would make whatever you asked for!!! We were sold! However, when we went in, this was not the case. EVERY pizza had pepperoni on it (pepperoni, pepperoni and ham, pepperoni and olives). I asked the girl at the counter for a veggie pizza, and she said there was one out. So I went to look again, and definitely NO veggie, so I went back to the counter and the other gentleman said there was one in the oven. As I walked away, I heard him ask someone else if there was one in the oven! SERIOUSLY?! I'm hungry, and vegetarian, not stupid and deaf. All in all, it was almost impossible to get them to make anything vegetarian, which was a far cry from the "we'll make you whatever you want" that we were told over the phone. So if you love Round Table pizza, go to the other location on Sunrise Blvd in Gold River/Rancho Cordova and be ready for all you can eat of whatever kind of pizzas you want! read more

Round Table is one of my favorite pizzas. I ordered the new "Artisan Flatbread Pizza" for the first time. The pizza tasted like the pepperoni was old and turning bad. The employees asked if everything was OK, and while I contemplated telling them it didn't taste right, I also contemplated that this employee would be making my food again. I decided not to risk any problems, asked for a pizza box and threw it in the trash. I've been "rumbly" for the last few hours. I hate that I always review this place and my review gets deleted. I love this round table. I come here with my grandparents all the time and they have been coming to this store for years. The cash register people always remember our names and our order. And have made it correctly and quickly Everytime. The only thing is sometimes they get too busy and don't have enough people to work. So the lady on the register is usually looking like she has 20 things to do at once which is not fun...they always have to yell at other employees "grab the reg" "clean the tables" shouldn't someone he assigned to that. They always make it exactly as you order it, and the people taking my order are always helpful, polite and attentive. I have ordered from other locations and you can tell the person on the phone is paying zero attention to your order, this is most definitely not the case here. Pizza was good cooked perfectly, the garlic Parmesan twist were a little under cooked but doable, the wings were over sauced and they always are. The biggest problem I had was the wait I had to be helped to take my order. I waited probably 5 min to give my order at 12:30 and it was slow, no line to order and I still had to wait, maybe a staffing issue. 2 star, strictly because I like Round Table pizza. This location is nasty, the inside of the business is filthy. The borders around the ceiling tiles have drips of dirt/dust. Critical I know because honestly who looks up but...obviously someone does. The employees are wearing sagging pants and disgusting beanies on their heads. The walls are dingy, there are paint chips missing and discoloration on the walls where they've removed something. There are security cameras everywhere to make sure you're not going to steal and/or damage anything?!? My boyfriend ordered a beer and the cup was dirty. Gah! Management/ownership should take pride in their business, clean the place up and tell your employees to have some class and standards. Last night, I somehow ordered online from this Round Table rather than the one in my neighborhood. I just wasn't paying attention. So I went to my round table, found I'd have to pick up at a different round table 10 to 15 minutes away. I get to this round table and am greeted pleasantly. She has me check my order, and one of the pizza's is just plain cheese. I said, no, I ordered the Pepperoni special. She said, yeah, with no pepperoni. I said, no, I didn't. Now, in all honesty...I can't say that I didn't click the wrong button, as I obviously ordered from the wrong place. However, they asked if I'd like them to make a new pizza and were going to make it right for me. I agreed I'd wait. A Pepperoni special was just coming out of the oven, and they went ahead and wrapped it up and gave it to me, and planned to remake whoever's pepperoni I got. I was asked at about 11am to get lunch for about 40 people, you know, for lunchtime... For like an hour from now... Pizza was suggested but I'd been having problems with other RT's (soggy, late, short, etc) but didn't like the other options either. A co-worker suggested this location so I figured I'd give it a shot. Tony was "Sure! Can do! No problem!" when I gave my order, even guaranteeing it to be delivered within the hour. I'm thinking "yeah, right..." So we get the order taken and then the waiting game begins... At other locales, even giving my usual 2 day advance notice, something always goes awry, so I'm preparing for the worst. Anyway, next thing I know, the happy, pleasant delivery gal is here asking where to take the order. Wow. Now all that's left is tasting the pizza- which is probably half cooked or just poorly made.... NOPE!!! FIVE STARS!! This store is GOOD! They even noted on each pizza box what was inside, which I normally have to ask for! This is the worst dining experience I have ever had , first I was told that the order I placed online was on its way then after 1 1/2 hours later calling again I was told that my order was never place told my confirmation number wasn't real and that I never placed an order . Once I spoke to a manager it only got worse he insulted my intelligence by speaking incredibly slow to me and telling me there was no order although I have the online receipt of order . After almost 2 hours from when I placed my order he finally admitted I see your order now and it was our fault but offered no compensation nor an apology for his unacceptable service . Do not go on a Monday! Their 50% off Customer Appreciation is a joke. This is the second and last time we will patronize this location. We ordered an extra large Italian Garlic Supreme pizza that I asked to be made extra crispy. What I received was something similar to that except it was so saucy that the toppings were sliding off as we picked up a slice. When I bit into it, it was just a mouthful of uncooked dough, crispy on the bottom and complete mushy and gross beyond that. Not to mention that the 50% off is a HUGE draw for the community because it's a great discount, however the wait time for a pizza is about an hour for dine-in and the quality of the food drops tremendously because of the volume they're producing. Not to mention that their beers are completely off. Probably havent cleaned the lines in years. Over-all it's not worth my time or money. I'll take my business to Mountain Mikes where the beer is cared for and the pizza is consistently DELICIOUS. read more
