Called in an order this past Monday night for a XL Pepperoni pizza- the total was only about $16 since on Monday evenings you get half off any pizza order (of large or x-large). The guy who brought us our pizza from the back opened the box up for us so we could inspect our order before we left the store- which I thought was a good way for them to prevent crazy people from calling back later claiming their order was screwed up. They would be good here if they could take an order correctly. Called in a take out order with a coupon, they rung me up for some in store special they had that charged me more to get less. Manager was rude, said that I could pay 4 dollars more to get cinnamon twists. Showed her my coupon and I asked her to recalculate it. It was twenty cents less, and she made a big deal about it. I said keep the twenty cents, I just want the cinnamon twists I ordered without paying four more dollars. She was still rude. At this store I don't believe the customer is always right, and I'll stick to the Roseville/Rocklin locations even without the deals. My family and I frequent this restaurant regularly...always receiving excellent service! On this evening, we asked if our son could take a quick tour of their pizza-making experience. Of course, they couldn't accommodate a tour due to liability purposes, but the staff at this Round Table Pizza certainly made things fun for my boy! Ordered a large pizza and 6 garlic twists. I added 4 ranch sauces. The 6 twists come with their own sauces yet we only received the 4 we paid for. The 4 were not even filled half way. I ordered a large pizza for delivery and I was soooo disappointed. For the price I paid, i regretted choosing this place. I ordered a Large supreme pizza and 6 garlic parmesan twists. I had an internet coupon for $2 off a large and my total (with delivery) came to $30.17! They charge $2.25 for deliver!!! They said it would take 30-45 minutes to deliver and I'm pretty sure it was a little over 45 minutes before I received my pizza. When we opened the boxes, one of the garlic parmesan twists was way overcooked. The pizza looked like they only put on half the toppings, if that! Maybe I'm used to Mountain Mikes (for the same price or cheaper) and they load up the toppings. Honestly i'd rather have Papa Johns or Pizza guys over this pizza they delivered. Called in an order earlier this evening. Was told to come in 15 minutes, came in 15. I was told a few more minutes, so I sat down after paying nearby. Sat there and waited for about 10 minutes and then stood by the salad bar for another 5. I went and asked about my order, and upon saying my name the same guy that took my money gave me my pizza. I've waited for over an hour before for food, i'm very understanding of what life is like when dinner time hits and the establishment gets busy. When the gentleman gave me the pizza, he didn't apologize and just said that they "had called earlier". Poor customer service in my opinion, and while you think this is a rant, this is just a detailed message for someone to be reminded that an apology can smooth things over, and an excuse for a lack of effort is a great way for me to never come back. read more

I live about 5 minutes away from this round tables. I ordered a xtra large pizza and breadsticks for some friends I had over. The delivery driver came and to find he was not following COVID protocols or wearing a mask when my pizza was delivered. I let that go because we were outside. As I showcase the pizza to my hungry guest it turns out to be filled with tomato toppings and all juicing out making the pizza so soggy! I tossed the pizza and went on with my party by warming up some food for them. I decided I'd call the store the next day and tell them my issue. The owner answered and I explained my situation, he said "there's nothing we can do" because I called less than 24 hours later? I'm sorry, should I have put my party and guests on hold to call and complain for a new pizza. I was a loyal customer to round tables and never had a pizza taste that disgusting or staff that doesn't follow COVID protocols! Have your employees wear a mask! The manager CORRIE/ CORY/CORI is very rude and not helpful at all. She will argue with you if you speak up about your order. Thank goodness I payed 66 bucks for underdone pizza that was improperly made. The delivery driver was a very kind and helpful young man so there is at least that. A couple of Monday's ago i called in an order for 2 large pizzas, needless to say they lost my order and because Monday night is extremely busy it took them 2 hours to get my pizzas. I didn't want to wait but a young man came over to us and said for my inconvenience he would comp me 3 xtra large pizzas. He took my name and phone number, I was satisfied with that! So today I call to order one of my complimentary pizzas and I'm told they have no record of that promise, however they will give me 25% off my pizza today!! I asked to speak with the owner, he offered the same!! I told him they totally stuffed me, I would not have wait for 2 hours for 25% off a pizza. I am 66 years old I'm not out to burn these people but obviously they indeed burnt me!! Bad business Mr. Owner, I work for a big company there is 1700 employees in my building and hopefully they all hear my story!! The only reason it has one star is because I could not post without at least one!! THEY DESERVE NONE!! The employees are working hard, paying attention to the customers and even showing acts of kindness, helping an older man with packaging up his leftovers and asking if the customers dining in need anything/are enjoying the food. They fixed it the first time in their "oops book" but I'm beginning to think they shorten their cooking times in order to achieve a quick delivery. I will never return! Decided to treat us to a pizza, at the time I thought Round Table would be a great choice I was WRONG! Went online to process the order, which was done with no issue. The problem came when I showed up at the greenback location to pick up my order. The lady at the counter says she needs my card and drivers license because Round Table cannot verify if I paid. I tell here I have the receipt round table sent sent me and she says that's not good enough. Says they need to take a hand written copy of my drivers license and credit card to verify payment. Says it's policy because some people don't pay. It's 2020 and you can't verify whether a purchase was paid online or not? We called in our order for pickup a few days ago and when I arrived to pay for it I saw the workers two of them making pizza and not wearing a mask. One girl didn't even have a mask on while the other had her mask pulled all the way under her chin not covering her face at all. This was a very busy night and frankly I was very surprised. I came in on a Friday at 11:30 for the buffet lunch. The pizza was fresh and hot. Most pizzas at the buffet were half of one flavor and half another flavor. I liked this because it meant that 8 or 10 different types of pizza were put out in just the first 25 minutes. The salad bar was fresh too. I recommend this Round Table location for the lunch buffet. The person taking my order was rude, curt and extremely irritated with my questions. Meh. As far back as I can remember Round table is by far my favorite pizza! Maui Zaui is what i order and always has been. It is the perfect balance between spicy, sweet, veggies and meat. Yummm Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Last week however was not so good. Maybe it's just this location but the food was subpar... well down right bad. The cheese was not melted and the toppings were wrong. I know that there are now a couple choices of Maui Zaui so I am very. Distinct upon ordering the correct one. Sadly my pizza arrived wrong. When we called to let them know the manager "put us in the books" For a free pizza for your next time. It's nice they put the effort into making up for it. But upon ordering the second pizza a couple days later it was just as badly put together. Again the cheese wasn't melted at all, which is such an important part of what makes pizza pizza.
