Delicious Round Table Pizza! Been coming here for a very long time but have always forgot to write a review. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful. I really like this location, they've become my go-to for pizza. Although my relationship with them has mostly been takeout (during the pandemic) every pie I've gotten from them has been super tasty and made with care. Always a pleasant interaction with any staff. Plenty of parking and easy access. The web ordering always works properly, although the website can be a little buggy when logging in. I just read another review talking about the quality of the water there. I need to check that out next time. I would have put a picture of my pizza from tonight, but I was too busy shoving it into my fat face. Try the Hawaiian or Maui Zowie. It's pretty awesome. read more

Update: and this is the reason why we continue to go to this location. I received a call today from Liz, the owner, and she totally made it right. Usually this Round Table is our go to pizza place in town. 99% of the time everything is on point. Tonight was NOT one of those nights. We ordered at 7:00 and they close at 8:00, but obviously the oven was too hot. I don't know how you can do it but 1/2 the pizza was overcooked with no cheese and the other 1/2 was undercooked. We live 5 minutes from here and LOVE this place (my husband has been going there since he was a kid), but I'm starting to think that driving the extra 10 minutes to downtown is the better option. Round Table Pizza on Pollard Road in Los Gatos is my favorite pizza haunt in the entire Bay Area. The food is consistently good, and the staff and owner, Liz, are exceptionally friendly. I am a teacher in Saratoga and planned to order about 10 pizzas. I called this location after the Prospect Road location was very rude and told me to go online. Liz at the Pollard Road Round Table gave me a teacher discount and even delivered the pizzas to my elementary school even though they don't typically deliver! She even arrived early, which was wonderful, and brought plenty of plates and napkins for 45 kids. I have told all my colleagues how accommodating she was and I will be a repeat customer for sure! I am one of the biggest fans of Round Table Pizza, which is why it saddens me that the one closest to my home is absolutely terrible in every way. The pizza just doesn't taste like Round Table's standards. The store was greasy and dirty the few times I did try it. The employees were not friendly, and a few times, even rude. My husband and I have a standing joke about how bad this particular RTP is. I can't stand having a RTP so close and not being able to go there. We have gone back every now and then just in the hopes they made improvements, but no such luck. This is a great injustice. read more

This is going to seem like a ridiculous post because my issue is over about $10, but my experience is a huge reflection on the lack of customer service. For starters, no manager was available and the stand-in manager clearly had no managerial skills or authority. We had just left the 49er game (sadly losing to Texans) and ordered a pizza to grab on the way home. We instructed them about a coupon and placed our order. To my surprise, the would-be manager refused to honor my coupon because it was not printed out despite showing it to him on their website. Seriously?! He basically told me to drive home and print it out and come back. Again, it is not about the money. If you are going to advertise a special, a legitimate business honors its promises. Wow, this was probably the saddest experience I've had with Round Table. I stopped by for lunch on the way back to the office. They definitely offer some good deals for lunch, but the quality and amount of the food is poor. I ordered the salad lunch combo, which comes with 3 bread sticks and a drink. I got a measly handful of salad with old lettuce and the wrong dressing. The bread sticks were not bad. It definitely did not fill me up. You can do better Round Table! It wasn't busy during lunch time either. There were maybe 3 other people. It took approximately 10 minutes for them to prepare my food. This place reminded me of a dive bar. This is my favorite neighborhood pizza place! Seriously, it's yummy pizza! The crust is really thin (try skinny crust if you like it even thinner!) and the ingredients are always fresh. The vegetables on the vegetarian pizza are always top notch. I've been coming here since I was a wee little student at Marshall Lane and Rolling Hills and it remains my favorite pizza in the area. I used to go to the round table on Campbell avenue, but always found that one busy and they constantly got my order wrong. When I came here, there was no wait time. Pizzas were made quickly and correctly whether it was for dine in or take out. The employees are very nice. I will say that this location is more for picking up your order rather than dining in. Something seemed different from other times I've been there. It was never one of my favorite places. But, I was craving pizza. So I ordered a large sausage, green pepper, tomato with extra cheese. Maybe it was the extra cheese? When I looked it didn't seem that much on it. But, I was very surprised. This pizza was delicious! It was exactly what I was craving and I really enjoyed it. I took my pizza home, but I noticed the place even looked different. The lights were on, it was brighter and more inviting and friendly. It even smelled clean. I'm from Chicago and can be very picky about my pizza. I'm so happy I ordered large, so I have left overs for today. I will order more often to see if it's consistent as others have said. So, you order an extra large pizza - half with toppings, half just cheese because your kid only likes cheese pizza. And they charge you the price of an extra large pizza with full toppings...even though half of your pizza is just cheese. And you think maybe it's a mistake, but the dude taking your money tells you nope, that's just the way it is. So, you're being charged for something you didn't get? I just wanted to let them know that they forgot to put red sauce on my pizza as I ordered, so hopefully they pay more attention in the future but she just kept saying that i am wrong and she made the pizza herself and she put the red sauce herself. i told her I can take a picture of the pizza and send it to her, but still she was very rude then when I said that I'll write a review for them then she became nice and she apologized. I love this round table. I have been going here for almost 40 years now. The same family has been running this business ever since I was a kid and the pizza is always great. I always order the Guinevere small pizza. Usually it's okay and passable, nothing great. The last one I had about a week ago was virtually unedible, the thin crust tasting like plastic (don't eat much crust anyway, too fattening) and the topping microscopic pieces of something, with very little bland cheese, and almost no tomato sauce. For $15, I'd rather have a full meal elsewhere. This is my last visit here. Sahrry, because the owner of this franchise location is really a very pleasant woman. I been coming to this location for years now and they used to be very good but in the past year or so, the quality of 1) food 2) customer service has gone downhill. I ordered a pizza yesterday and the guy told me 20-25 minutes. I go into the store 30 minutes later to pick up my pizza and see the girl just putting my pizza in the oven to bake. I had to wait another 15 minutes till the oven was baked before I could get it. And the location was completely empty with no major orders (I could see in the back, there were no other pizzas being made) so I have no idea why they had to wait 25 minutes to start making my pizza when they told me it would be ready in 25 minutes. Additionally, when I entered the store, there was only one employee working; she was attempting to make pizzas, take and complete orders and answer calls. She had me wait 9 minutes before she even came to the front to ask me what I was there for. This review is only about this particular Round Table location. Don't get me wrong, I'm generally a big fan of Round Table but last weekend I called in an order (a large 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese). The employee repeated back the order the way I had ordered it, and when my hubby picked up the order, they had made the whole pizza with pepperoni. An honest mistake, sure. But they didn't offer an apology nor a discount. My husband called home (from the pizza parlor) and told me what happened and asked if I'd like for them to remake it, or what I'd like done. I asked for it to please be remade (since I wanted cheese, not greasy pepperoni residual) and he said that "They don't look like they want to remake it..." Poor customer service. The cheese pizza tasted nasty with the picked off pepperoni taste.... If I'm going to pay $20 for a pizza, I would expect more, else I could spend a lot less and get a Take and Bake that wouldn't have any pepperoni on my side. read more

We like their food and the service is generally good. We also appreciate their support of local schools. But I am deducting one star because I recently went in to get a pizza and had a coupon on my phone. The employee told me they only accept paper coupons.
