    Chefs Daughter D.

Growing up in Palo Alto (and Mountain View) , I recall seeing this when turnping from Middlefield Rd to Colorado. My parents were never pizza ppl so we never went there. Present day, I decided to check out with family, since my aunt and uncle still live in the neighborhood. It is it's own building next to 7-11 and a Safeway is behind it, Walked in and was greeted with an employee behind the register standing in silence. No greeting such as a "Hi" or "Hello" but just a stare. Moving forwzrd, order was placed. We had to repeat a couple of times (as it was kitchen fan loud). After paying, we found a table in a room with several tables and a TV. The room was good for a group and big family or several groups. A little claustrophobic but manageable. After maybe 15-20 minutes, order was walked to the table. After he left, i went to cashier and asked for Black pepper at the cashier area, as no condiments were on the table, except for a napkin dispenser. I was told they dont have black pepper. WHAT? no black pepper. is their a shortage I didn't hear. The staff person was so blunt that I felt I did something strange. I like to add black pepper on my salad and a whisper on my pizza slice. Also, please don't wait for a customer to ask twice to refill a salad bar item. We asked once as soon as we realized it needed to be refilled. and they said OK. Then when the guy dropped off the pizza, we had to ask again. The table next to us even said they didn't have rice I didn't even know rice was an option on the salad bar but the customer told her daughter they are not having rice offered so I don't know if it's a common item or an item they did not want to refill at the salad bar. But someone can let me know, and I will adjust or update my review if rice is a common item on their salad bar.. Pizza looked good, but taste left us all thinking it tasted strange. Can't put our finger on it but it left us contemplating if a second slice was in our future. I turned to my salad and ended up treating as my main meal. Since pizza was getting cold and no one took a slice, I packed the rest in a pizza box (as I thought maybe my taste buds were not up to par) Funny thing was the fact that none of us mentioned the odd tasting pizza until we jumped into the vehicle. We all shared the odd taste, but didn't want to say at the table, but we had a loud sharing moment as we drove. It was just a discounting moment for us. More disappointing for me since I was excited to return to my old neighborhood and enjoy dinner, but it was just not in the cards :( Ps. I was also charged twice. the guy said it didn't go through so "do it again" and then saw 2 charges when I got home, for the same exact amount, one minute apart. The incident was reported to my bank.

Despite the shady attempt to pick off the mushrooms by two employees after the pizza was cooked they missed a lot.

Round Table is BACK!!!! Okay so after our disastrous experience, the owner reached out to us and apologized for the occurrence and offered to make things right. Given my history with the company and this location in particular we took him up on the offer and I'm happy to say we had an excellent experience. The service was spot on and the pizza was made perfectly. We went back to our standard for this trip and the results were excllent The Maui: its basically a fancy Hawaiian pizza with the usual ham and pineapple. Add to that bacon, onions, and green onions. Do yourself a favor and skip the 'Polynesian" sauce and stick with their excellent red sauce. Its, smokey, savory, sweet and salty, the crust while thin can be held slice style to eat, but its that right combination of crispy and doughy. If you want to go wild, have then sub the ham for pepperoni. We are happy to have RT back in our regular rotation

Wow !!! New Look is Amazing. Amazing Staff & Service. Did a Pizza catering for my kids 10th Birthday. Everyone loved it. Fresh Salads and Twists were top notch.

I used to come here ever since I was a child and I always love their pizza. Their fresh pizza just out of the oven tasted better than any pizza I've ever had before. They have just recently added freshly made cookies to their menu and they are REALLY good. Just recently, they have remodeled their store and the place looks very high end and modern. On top of that, they have amazing service. All the employees were very welcoming and friendly to me when I walked into the store.

Despite not offering high chairs or kids meals, they have a ton of families because it's otherwise kid-friendly food in a kid-friendly environment. The food comes out super fast, and all the employees are really nice. They also quickly clear your table when they notice empty trays. My only gripe is with parking, and it's a huge problem. The restaurant is somewhat in the middle of nowhere so understandably people have to drive to get there. We have eaten at here only 4 times despite coming here at least twice as often as that because we cannot find parking. There are times we've been able to get a table but simply cannot find a spot to park and then had to leave. When the weather is nice, there can be a long wait for a table, and we've also had to leave once because our kids were super young and didn't have the patience. Other than the bar, there's nowhere to go to wait. There are employees in the lot kinda guiding traffic, but the issue is it's really a matter of luck. Someone who showed up way after you may find a spot sooner than you, and it sucks. Sometimes it gets gridlocked too because some parts of the lot are narrow and you can't pass a car waiting for a spot, or a car isn't considerate in pulling over and letting others by. I would love to come here more regularly, but it's such a hassle. We try every couple of months ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No. What I mean is, if you break down their pizza (as I did in one pic below bc I have a cold, so I got mine to go), it's a cornmeal crust with a bunch of toppings and cheese, topped by a thick layer of tomato-based sauce. The crust is not super thin, but neither is it super thick and bready. It basically forms a shell around the toppings and sauce. The toppings can be healthy depending on what you choose. This time, I got 1/2 brass monkey 1/2 free bird. Brass monkey has a lot of sausage and ricotta, so not a healthy choice. Free bird has a really great amount of chicken! ... and some bacon, but I chose it. You could easily get a delicious veggie and chicken pizza, and it'd be better nutritionally. There's a good amount of cheese, but it's not overwhelming or super greasy. If you want in-your-face cheese, add more for another dollar or two. I like if the way it is. The tomato sauce is thick and surprisingly tangy. That reassures me it's not loaded down with sugar. Basically, is this super healthy? No -- in terms of my eating out/takeout, that would be a sashimi salad, or salmon with lightly steamed vegetables and a bit of sweet potato or quinoa. But it's decent for a Friday night out (or in) when you're not really trying to be healthy, but also not making a point of doing the opposite. As for price -- this is March 2026, and the large half-and-half composed of 2 of their priciest options was $39.14 after tax before tip. Now, that seems a bit high for one pizza. But I didn't eat all day, and 2 slices (out of 8) filled me right up. 3 slices would have left me too full, but probably still thinking "worth it!" 4 slices would make me super uncomfortably regretting-my-life-choices overfull. Sure, you can get cheaper pizza/takeout. But this is good stuff, like pasta toppings on a good cornmeal crust. If you ordered 2 solid pastas for under $40, you'd think that was a good deal! Well, this is 3-4 adult's worth of good pizza for under $40. Also, I used to cook and bake a lot more than I do now, and there's a lot of work and ingredient here, more than I'd commit to at twice the price. It would start making sense for me to mix up the crust and buy good cheese and meat and tins of San Marzanos if I needed 4 pizzas, i.e. to feed 15-20 people (with finger foods, salad, sides, dessert). Otherwise I'd just order here. Oh! I can't remember the last time I got takeout here. So they now have a shiny red takeout cabinet to the left as you walk in, and you just put in the last 4 digits of your phone # and your locker pops open! I would have liked not to be sick and to eat in, but the cabinet was pretty cute. :)

Was craving some deep dish pizza. Nice Sunday afternoon, got…read moreseated outside, great vibes, while people watching. The deep dish pizza takes 30 min to make. Crispy bread, good amount of sausage and cheese got a small size. Also the wings were good. Would come again.
