Absolutely the worst experience. I ordered using the online app and it shared that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there a few minutes early, and the (apparent) owner yelled from the back "it'll be ready in 5 minutes." That was 7:27pm, as the young man hustling the front of the store handed me my receipt. I sat down and patiently waited. Durning that time, I saw the young kid working his but off alone, taking orders, asking others who had ordered online for their order numbers, relaying the numbers to the prep area and serving & busing the entire dine in area. The owner didn't understand all that the kid was saying with the numerous order numbers of all the people waiting, and while he was trying to serve a table, she called him back and berated him in front of those of us waiting. He again gathered all the order numbers, relayed those to her and she yells back from the kitchen, "5 more minutes." At this point it had been 10 minutes past my pick up time and I stepped forward to speak with her about how my order was. For the 4th time, she collected my order number and then pointed at the pizza oven, "5 minutes, it's right there." I looked and saw several pizza, none of which were mine and pointed that out to her. She ignored me and went about preparing more pizzas. That's when I said to her that she hadn't even started mine. We argued and I walked away for a moment. When I returned, I asked for my refund. She said no, my pizza was coming out now. This is five pizzas after she pointed to the oven earlier. I told her the best way to ensure a customer will never return is to lie to them. We argued more and in the mean time, my pizza was ready, over 30 minutes late. If you're swamped, be honest, apologize, maybe offer a soft drink while you wait, but be straightforward. Don't string out your cuts with lies. Needless to say, I'm never retuning here the way the owner behaves with her employees and customers. Too many other places to go. read more

2 stars because pizza is pretty good and not horribly priced. I'd recommend only getting it to go or delivered. (Do not eat inside this godforsaken place) However, avoid their wings at all costs. They DRIZZLED sauce on these TINY little wings rather than tossing them like any normal person would. I would have been able to get past the mediocre taste had they actually been appropriately sized and sauced. On top of that, they had the audacity to throw in a microscopic wing the size of a chicken nugget. (And yes it counted as 1 of the 12) I felt like a clown sitting in that booth. Flakes, and I'm not talking the pepper you put on the pizza ! I ordered pizzas at 9:30 ... they close at 11:00 plenty of time for them to cook up a couple of pizzas. I was charged for the pizzas that never came (posted to my bank account, I checked). They never called to inform us there were any problems filling this order. No call saying the delivery person was lost. No call from them at all. So, I tried calling at 10:40 to inquire, and low and behold NO ANSWER! Did I mention they close at 11:00. Would you all do me a favor and order from any other pizza place just once? Just skip this one order for me, please, because I have a hole house hold of hungry kids that were excited to have pizza on the way. Now, there are abunch of sad, hungry faces. Two evenings ago, my daughter dropped by from San Diego. We decided to order pizza for dinner. She called Round Table in San Clemente and ordered a large King Arthur and a small Cheese for delivery. The small Cheese pizza arrived over-cooked, flat, and dry. My daughter called the owner to request a replacement. As soon as my daughter said that the pizza (just received) was over-cooked, the owner replied, "..., it was not over-cooked; I have a picture." The owner then hung up! My daughter called back and informed the owner that she was in the process of asking for a replacement cheese pizza when hung up upon. The owner said that she was not going to provide a replacement. My daughter said, "I guess I will have to write a review." The owner's response was, "That's a good idea; go ahead!" So...., this review is for the pleasure, (and at the encouragement), of the owner. As an ancillary thought, I just noticed the many bad reviews of this pizzeria. It's no wonder the prospect of another bad review was uninspiring to the owner. I would liken her attitude to a child having a dirty bedroom. When the child gets undressed at the end of the day, the clothes he was wearing are just thrown on the floor. I'm so glad we were able to dine in at this location! First time trying round table pizza and it was the best pizza Ive ever had. The house special pizza balanced the meats and vegetables with a nice bbq sauce on top. The regular crust was just right even though I prefer thin, my husband wanted regular crust and I didn't complain for once. :) The dining area is very spacious which allows for ample room between guests. Crew was extremely wArm and welcoming. We also ordered a Caesar salad and mild buffalo wings which came out before the pizza so we weren't able to capture all the food by then. :p There's some machine games in the back and the fresh ocean breeze makes your meal that much better. :) read more

I'm befuddled by the negative customer service reviews of this location. I recently moved to the area and each time I've gone here the service was spectacular. On top of that, they are the only RTP in south OC who HEARS me when I tell them to put a disgusting amount of sauce on my pizza. I want that ish to squirt out when they cut it. Today, I came into the San Clemente location and they, like Dana Point, have gotten rid of the lunchtime pizza bar "Because of COVID." Really?!? Funny because the salad bar is still wiiiide open. Covid must be able to discern between food groups now. Instead, "The Last HONEST pizza," is now up-charging an individual pizza $5 for people getting the salad bar. I stopped in yesterday on my way to a family members home, who just lost their young daughter. I wasn't sure what to show up and was passing by Round Table. I stopped in. Within 15 minutes I had 4 perfectly cooked pizzas and a beautiful, fresh garden salad. The salad bar looked as though it should be in a fancy brunch setting. Super clean and all the vegetables appeared freshly chopped. All dressings were well chilled. The inside of the restaurant was one of the cleanest I have seen in years. The owner was very accommodating, super friendly and proud of her business. I will definitely stop here again when passing through. The food was a hit and just a moment brought delight to my grieving family members. Oh yeah, her lunch special!!! Are you kidding me- a mini pizza (6slices) salad and soda for $12.
