Round Table is a neighborhood gem! The pizza is pricier than those pedestrian chains, but it's so much better. They just remodeled and there's a new self-serve beer wall. I had a good experience at Round table. I have been to this location before and it is usually pretty quiet and the staff is friendly. Customer service: The staff are all very young. They are not great but they were attentive, when not talking, and helpful. The place is clean and fun. Pinball, quarter toy machines, race car game and Mrs Pacman. Food: a little pricey but it is good. With so many cheaper chain pizza places to choose from I stayed away from the normal pizza order. I ordered an RT pizza sandwich and it was delicious. I got pep, sausage and mushrooms and it was loaded with cheese and sauce. Ordered wings just to try them. Not very good. Got the boneless and I think that's where I went wrong. They were basically frozen wings from the grocery store. I have had regular wings here before that tasted great. These had that frozen bread taste. Don't recommended. And we ordered a personal pizza. We've ordered delivery from this location twice and they do not disappoint! The first time was through GrubHub and there were some complications but Grubhub was at fault and the manager at Round Table table did everything possible to make us happy... and we were :) Ordered again for dinner tonight and again, we are happy! Our order was exactly correct, perfectly cooked, and they delivered 2 minutes before the estimated time. I'm just so glad that they deliver all the way to us, we are in Carmel Valley off of the 56 and Carmel Country Rd. We have other pizza spots close by, Dominos, Oggi's,Sammy's, and even URBN but we will always choose Round Table! They have quality pizzas and decent promotions. Over an hour I waited for my pizza and no one bothered to call me to let me know anything!! I called twice to check on the status of my pizza & both times I was told the driver was on his way. 20 min later I call back & Caden(?)who's supposedly the manager begins to make excuses instead of answers. I tell him to cancel my order I didn't want cold pizza and instead of apologizing he cancels my order without any type of accountability for their lack of service and his lack of customer service skills. If you're busy, fine, I get that. But don't make a customer wait over an hour without telling them something!! Caden even had the nerve to tell me the time on online orders couldn't be changed and I'm like does he not comprehend that the order is LATE what time am I trying to change it to, the past?! I like that they have flat bread pizza now, and the chicken pizza/veggie pizza options, but the price of a medium pizza (which only serves 8) is 19.99, which is a bit pricey considering pizza hut and papa johns who always have pizza specials (like 2 for 25, etc), but we were in the area and wanted to give them a try since its been a few years. the girl who took our order kept repeating everything .. (ok fine it might be her first job). at least she got it right :) we also got 3 twists (cinnamon or Parmesan) for $3.99 which isn't bad. the restrooms? they're pretty horrible, there were bugs and it was pretty gross too. Love Round Table's pizzas! Granted I noticed a lot if low ratings so I do need to mention that this review is for carry out pizza only and not the dine in experience where I noticed many of the low ratings are connected to. This is closest Round Table pizza to me since they closed down the one in Mira Mesa ages ago so I don't get my Round Table pizza fix as much as I'd like, maybe another reason why I like it so much is because I don't have it that often. I think the pizzas here are consistently delicious. I think it's the quality ingredients and the consistency of the quality that make it great too. They cut the pizzas into smaller slices which I like since I always seem to want 1.5 sliced elsewhere I can just have here. Now the reason for only a 4 star with my raving review place... The price! For a large specialty it's over $23 and $27 or so for an Extra large. Now granted the ingredients are better than other pizza joints it's twice the price. So I only go here when I get a coupon or flyer with a great offer. Secondly after I paid for my carry out pizza I was asked if I wanted crushed peppers and Parmesan cheese and I said yes, then they looked and said they ran out out and didn't have any! Why offer if you don't have any and why aren't stocked up on it anyway! Maybe just a glimpse of the customer service and the reason for all the low ratings I see. A true blast from the past. This pizza eatery is something for those who like nostalgia. The place is locked into the 1980's and has that high school pizza joint hangout. They have a mini arcade with arcade games of the past. Most notably, they have Ms. PAC Man game that is the two player table version. They play all '80's songs. The pizza was good. We enjoyed the Wombo Combo which was great. We also had boneless wings in Garlic Parmesan, Mild Buffalo and Mango Habanero. They were all delicious. The clerk taking our order was a little cold but the young lady serving us was very nice. They do have a lunch buffet that ends at 1:30. We will definitely come back to try that. read more

i ordered Maui Zaui (XL) yesterday but there's missing in the taste. I just found out taht the polynesian sauce is missing that's why it became a white pizza. Im thinking about teturning but my wife told me, just to let it go and don't order anymore. The crust is all white underneath and seem under cooked and my wife and daughter suspect that they change to a cheaper dough to save money. Somebody also commented that they forget to put garlic in his pizza. They have to do more on attention to detail. It's been such a long time since we've been to a Round Table, so when we spotted this one not too far from home, we made it a point to stop in over the weekend. When I first called in the order, the guy who answered the phone asked if he could put me on hold....and then I waited on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up, he answered again, and took my order, after another 5 minute hold. Once we got in store, the staff was pretty friendly. The food was waiting for us, and we paid and were out of there in under two minutes. By the time we got home (10 minute drive), the pizza & garlic parmesan twists were cold :( The saving grace is that both the pizza (ulti-meat) and garlic parmesan twists tasted really good (even cold), but just a bit bummed after spending $30, our meal was lukewarm/cold. This place seems severely understaffed and undermanaged! Came in for the dinner buffet and there was a really long line out the door, yet the employees seem to have no sense of urgency. I'm guessing that the menu is usually displayed on the LCD is hanging on the wall but they were both off so no one in line knew what to order or what the prices were, causing a line to back up even further. There were dirty tables so there weren't enough places for people to sit, no forks or spoons available and only paper plates were left even if dining in. For the price you pay, the pizza is o.k. in the buffet but the salad bar is a hot mess as it hadn't been cleaned enough. I called and ordered a large pizza (5:55pm) and was told it would be 25 minutes. At first I wasn't sure if the person said 25 or 35 mins, so I asked her to confirm the time and she said it would take 25 mins. No problem! I was happy to wait. I live about 10 mins away, so I drove to the restaurant. I got there 30 mins later, assuming that me being five mins late, the pizza would definitely be ready. The cashier was super friendly but she told me it'd be about 10 more mins. I waited, then went to the counter 10 mins later and she said it still needed more time to cook. Of course I waited because I didn't want a raw pizza. Five minutes later, the pizza was ready. The cashier and the cook were very friendly and polite. I asked the cashier if the person I ordered from was in the restaurant because from what I could tell, the person I ordered from wasn't there (could tell by the voice). She said they have a call center and the person who takes the order over the phone is not in the store. Major communication issue here! I ended up waiting closer to 50 mins for the pizza, instead of the 25 mins I was told it would take over the phone. I wouldn't have minded waiting 50 mins for the delicious pizza, but I was told it would take 25 mins. I wasted 25 mins and that's my issue here. It would be great if there was better communication between the employees in the store (cooking the pizzas!) and the call center. read more

Heard a rumor that Round Table had good pizza and they have renovated a few of their 80s looking layouts to a more modern, hip crafty Pizza and Wing Shop. Not this location obviously! Still stuck with the 80s decor. Called in an Extra Large (30% bigger than their large) 3 topping pizza, a 6 piece order of their "dry rub" lemon pepper wings, a 12 piece of their boneless Buffalo tenders. They tell me it should be ready in 20/30 minutes. I get there 20 min later the foods not ready. Didn't seem like they ever started it. Anyways I pay for the "Pick Up" order and leave them 5.00 tip on a 54.00 tab. I know it's not 20% but damm I drove and picked it up. 5.00 on a Pizza P/U is actually very generous. Sign and give cashier the bill. No Thank You for the tip, no eye contact and just went back in prep area. About 15 min later our order is ready. No bags just two card board containers and a Pizza Box. No Parm cheese, peppers, Napkins anything? The food didn't seem very heavy and I really cannot believe they would charge 30 bucks for this tiny, blah, cold piece of shit pizza! Horrible portion, barely fed all 4 of us. I hoped the wings would had been a nice side dish as we are regulars at Wings and Things and hoped these would be 1/2 as good? Nope! Not even close The Dry Rub Lemon Pepper was wet and not crispy at all and had no flavor. Awful cold (previously frozen) chicken nuggets. Ice cold. Ranch seemed old. Place seems dirty. Date of order: 11/07/19 Time: between 12pm and 1 pm For starters, I wasn't even greeted when entering the establishment (and the next person I saw enter the establishment was). The woman at the front was on the phone and barely acknowledged the fact I was even there, other than knocking the counter to alert the other employee that someone was ready to order. The items I ordered came out to over $16, which for a small one topping pizza and a regular drink is a bit ridiculous, even for Carmel mountain ranch standards. Pizza quality was definitely not worth the price paid. Prices were hard to see if even listed, as there seemed to be more focus towards beer selection. I even tipped an extra $3 just so I wouldn't be labeled as that guy that didn't leave a tip, which set my bill then close to $20. I wasn't even given a receipt, even though I paid with a credit card. Cleanliness was also subpar. Definitely will not be returning. Hope no one else receives this sort of treatment, otherwise I'd recommend training in the department of ethics. read more

They charged me more than my invoice and wouldn't do anything about it. I ordered online, pizza costed $30. I have the invoice in my email. I show up to pick it up and pay for it. After i pay, i check the receipt and suddenly the pizza is $40. I tell them and they make me wait more than 15 minutes, while they try to think it over. Supervisor says she cant do anything for me (how can no one at the place refund one simple thing for me?) and takes a picture of my receipts to send to her boss who will "call me later" that day. I never get a call. I call back, nothing. I message them on yelp. Nothing. A few days later, still nothing. Indira was the best person I have ever met! The place was clean and Indira made us feel like we were family! Best pizza hands down! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. This is the first pizza we have eaten in quite a while that tasted like old world pizza! We usually buy Domino's or Pizza Hut and they taste like a cheap frozen pizza compared to Round Table's Pizzas! The size we got medium which was the same size as the large at the other places and about the same kind but their medium made it cheaper for us. Order a pizza for a big party from the PQ location on Sat at 11am for my daughter's party . Requested a delivery for 7:15pm. Pizza arrived at almost 8pm. I tried calling and was on the phone for 15min while I was driving to the location. I arrived to the location and that's when someone picked up the phone to tell me that there was traffic on the same road I drove which was a lie because there was no traffic at all. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told that the General Manager was delivering my order!
