Used to be one of my favorite buffet because they have a wide variety of food. They have large selection of sushi, sashimi, all your traditional Chinese food, some dim sum, seafood boil, shrimp Alfredo pasta, prime rib, BBQ ribs, chicken wings, all your fried options, made to order teppanyaki grill. Cold bar consists of lots of different salads, snow crab legs, lobster claws, mussels, and many more. They had a good selection of soups from clam cowder, seafood soup, miso soup, egg drop, and hot and sour soup. Desert was one of my favorite with creme brulee, cheesecake, cookies, and ice cream, and more. Thursday buffet is $56.99 because they have lobster night. Downside on that is they come out with limited amount of half lobster and often times lines are long. Limit one per person everytime you get in line. The lobster was not fresh today and texture was very mushy. I will not be coming back for lobster night. Service was nice and friendly. Waitress refilled our drinking and removed empty places consistently. They have spacious seating areas and the atmosphere is very inviting and vibrant. We came on a thursday night with 7 people and did not have to wait longer then 5 minutes. Plenty of seating. They have a huge parking lots with plenty of parking.

Admittedly, in our relationship I am the researcher & planner extraordinaire while hubby is the driver & enthusiastic follower. But every once in a while, hubby has a special request & we make it happen. His San Diego wish? Thursday night all-you-can-eat lobster dinner at 100s Seafood Grill Buffet. And when I say seafood extravaganza, I mean it. Beyond the lobster, there were crab legs, oysters, sushi galore (maki, nigiri & sashimi), lots of Asian specialties plus plenty of American comfort-food favorites to satisfy just about everyone. Now, full disclosure: my feelings were a little mixed, but hubby? He was living his absolute best life. The lobster is served cut in half & broiled, which unfortunately made the meat sort of melt into the shell. Each half ended up being only a couple bites & you did have to wait in line to grab one when fresh trays came out (one half per person at a time). That said, credit where it is due: the kitchen brought out lobster trays pretty regularly, so the wait never felt unreasonable. Meanwhile, hubby proceeded to eat what I can only describe as his body weight in crab legs. His only critique was that he prefers them served hot rather than cold, although the hot butter on draft definitely helped make up for that. I also appreciated how many unique dishes were available beyond seafood, making the buffet feel more interesting than your standard steam-table experience. And for me, the dessert section was a standout, especially the gelato station, which I may or may not have visited more than once. At $56.99, my personal preference would probably be to spend that money at a really good sushi restaurant. But if your dream scenario involves unlimited lobster, crab legs, oysters & a seafood feast where you can try a little bit of everything, this place absolutely delivers. Final verdict? Maybe not my personal seafood fantasy but hubby was THRILLED & sometimes that's the most important review of all. NOM NOM NOM #YUM

You really can't go wrong with 100s Seafood Grill Buffet. I'm not one for gluttony, but if you're going to indulge in a buffet, you might as well go with a place that has options galore. As I get older & really start to appreciate the value of a dollar & the importance of choices, having Snow Crab legs (sweeter than the larger King Crab & not nearly as difficult to crack as Dungeness) is fast becoming a "non-negotiable" for me. Also, it always helps when a restaurant -buffet or not- is great with large parties. Coming with a group of 11, 100s Seafood Grill Buffet handled our group well. Spoiler alert, the place didn't even hesitate when we had 100+ guests come for a reception for a beloved one's passing a few years ago. Was it a chaotic? Sure. Did they handle as swimming as possible! Absolutely. Their sushi is fresh - especially for a buffet. My niece appreciated their "Make Your Own Poké" station. Also, don't knock them for having a pro serve ice cream. (Too many customers don't know how to properly scoop -Hint: Dip the scoop in the water & move to the scoop as a spherical ball). Don't sleep on the lime, melon, & grapefruit ice cream flavors as well. The great thing about this place (like any decent buffet) is that there is something for everyone & the quality is above what other places serve. There is a 2 hour limit - just remember to be reasonable. This place has to make a profit to stay in business.

Nice location with plenty of parking. We had a party of 14 and got seated right away but 2 of us were seated at a booth while the other 12 extended to the adjacent tables and seats. For a local $40 all you can eat spot, although it says seafood, they also had good meat/beef options. I almost tried everything except the fruit and desserts. Many good options for $40 AYCE. The place was clean and the staff were quick to service. I love the bucket thats placed on the table for scraps... I normally would use an extra plate for trash. Id definitely go again.

Came to celebrate and it was a good experience. No wait time. Seated quick and tried a little of as much as I could. Sashimi, sushi then I had I think prime rib. Crawfish, the snow crab, clam, mussel, snail, octopus, shrimp and scallops. Over at the dessert's area I tried the watermelon and coconut ice cream with fresh lychee some nuts and kiwi. Loved it but I really liked the sweet purple sticky rice soup. There's noodles, fried rice, dim sum. I look forward to returning. I enjoyed my dinner. I like how there's buckets on the table already to discard your shells and workers are good at coming by and cleaning it out. Mel M Yelp 26:13

*Great service *great parking *good for big parties Clean & organized buffet with a good variety of options it was our first visit and the overall setup was pleasant. You get seated quickly which was a plus with no wait times. Food was okay, not amazing we were satisfied, but nothing really wowed me. The sushi was just average, though my husband did find a few items he enjoyed. Standout item: the fried tempura shrimp cooked perfectly and my favorite bite of the meal. We'd rate it a 3/5 (wish 3.5 was an option). I'm not someone who can eat a lot, so the buffet wasn't really worth it for me. My husband said he wouldn't mind coming back for the lobster to give dinner a try. If you're into seafood, though, this might be the place for you. All in all give it try and see what you might enjoy.

Came here for a birthday dinner, which if you come the day of your birthday it is 50% off which is really cool. They have a big parking lot and easy to get to if your disabled which I was thankful for! The inside was really clean and the workers were constantly cleaning up drips, drops, spills, and dirty plates. The staff made this place run efficiently for sure. So the food was overall really good! The desserts were terrible, but the seafood was good and that's all that mattered to me! I'll give a little rundown of everything I tried and what I thought! Crab: great! Never ran out, range of sizes and was delicious. Shrimp: small to medium sizes but sooooo many and I had like 30 just to myself. The cocktail sauce was bomb. Crawfish: super well seasoned and cooked, too spicy for me but still good Baked salmon: dry and not good flavor Steamed Whelk: flavorless but maybe just not for me Miso soup: a little too salty for it being a white miso in my opinion Various Nigiri: rice and fish all fresh and good Various Sashimi: fresh and good Chicken wings: super greasy but a delicious Various desserts: other then the cookies everything was dry and flavorless. Overall will definitely be coming back! Staff for sure runs this place so smoothly and the seafood is amazing.

Came here Sunday afternoon expecting a long wait, but surprisingly upon entry, we were immediately greeted & seated. Highly recommend coming here if you like seafood, especially snow crab legs (we definitely got our moneys worth as this is what we mostly ate!) In addition to the usual Asian buffet offerings like soup, fried rice, fried shrimp and noodles, they also offer sushi (sashimi, cut rolls and even made to order hand rolls), build your own poke bowls, a salad bar and desserts. Employees are quick and attentive, clearing dishes and refilling drinks. Military/veterans as well as seniors over 60 get a discount of 10%. They also have the option of food to go for $10.99/lb and the crab legs for $18.99/lb.

October 9, 2025 Let's start off by saying I was here yesterday for lobster night -- and honestly, I left disappointed. They advertise unlimited lobster, but it only comes out every 15 minutes, so you're standing in line most of the time just hoping to get one. For $61 per person, it's totally not worth it. I got impatient waiting in line and felt like I couldn't even enjoy my meal. The rest of the food was just okay -- nothing special. The desserts were pretty mediocre too. The only real positives were that parking was easy and the staff was friendly, but that wasn't enough to make up for the experience. Overall, I wouldn't go back. Save your money and try somewhere else if you're looking for a true seafood buffet experience. I did try this place years ago during the pandemic and it was so good!

You have to wait in line for lobsters and only one per person.

I usually love coming to 100s Buffet, it's been one of my go to spots for dinner because the regular menu never disappoints. But Lobster Thursday? Totally different story. For $56.99 per adult, I expected to actually enjoy an all-you-can-eat lobster experience. Instead, I found myself standing in a line just to get half a lobster at a time. And if you're hoping to grab some claws, there's even a sign limiting two per visit. By the time you make it back around for seconds, another batch is being cooked and... yep, another line. The rest of the food was decent as always, but when the highlight of the night is supposed to be the lobster, this just felt like false advertising. I've been to other lobster buffets where you can actually sit, relax, and enjoy, this wasn't that. If you're coming for their regular dinner menu, totally worth it. But if you're coming for Lobster Thursday thinking it's unlimited lobster heaven... think again. Unless you enjoy waiting in line for half a lobster, I'd skip this one.

3/25/2026 - we arrived with a party of 3 on Wednesday, at 3:45pm. They open at 4pm. Once of the first groups seated. We go here for the all you can eat crab, roasted duck and sushi's. 100 items to choose from. Far too many to select from to sample everything. Always a great experience and the food is always fresh. The service is excellent as well. The parking there is terrible. 5 stars.

This buffet came highly recommended from someone I no longer believe is a good judge of restaurants, haha. Yes, the place is big, and yes, there are a lot of good options. But are the food options high quality and delicious? That's where I pause. When we first attacked the buffet tables, I went straight to the sushi bar, as one does. I went knowing that the sushi wasn't going to be restaurant-quality - buffets like this can never seem to get the sushi rice down to the right consistency - but I wanted to believe that the rice would be the only thing we'd talk about. Unfortunate that it wasn't. The sushi wasn't terrible, but a lot of the pieces we picked up were either a bit too sloppily made or more-than-a-bit too bland. The fresh seafood was by far the star of the day, for me. On my next round, I went right to the cold bar, filling up on shrimp, crab claws, oysters and mussels. Everything was fresh and briny and easy to slurp or crack or spoon. The hot items were a total bomb. I tried their orange chicken, veggie egg rolls, tempura chicken wings, garlic green beans and honey walnut shrimp. Everything tasted and felt like it'd been sitting out under the warmers for hours, even though I was standing at the bar when some of the things were refilled from the back. The eg rolls and orange chicken weren't crunchy, the walnut shrimp lacked flavor and the garlic green beans were too wilty and missing garlic to qualify as garlic green beans. The chicken wing should have had an excellent crunch and juicy insides, but alas, no. My husband did go back for the hot foods, though he said he did it more to get our money's worth than for the flavor (his favorite hot item were the sesame balls.) He brought me back a pork bao on his final trip; the dough was tough and the inside was dry. And because we're gluttons - both for food and for punishment - we grabbed a few items from their dessert area. I do not recommend this, the cakes were dry, the cookies were hard as a rock and it seemed they skimped on the cheese part of their cheesecakes. There are better buffets out there, in my opinion. I don't think we'll be back.

No, only dinner and weekend prices.

Is a drink included in price?

No, it's not included. That's extra.

    Is there a time limit?

No time limit, they are so generous with time and that's one thing I like. No pressure while you enjoy your food😘

You can find the answer by calling the restaurant. They do speak English.

For birthday is there a discount?

Are the drinks included on the dinner buffet price?

Do they serve hot crab legs for dinner or only chilled ones?

    Crab legs are only chilled.

I don't eat seafood, are there enough options aside from seafood to eat?

There are a few options that aren't seafood, besides the desserts obviously, they have orange chicken, chow mein, etc. It's like a Chinese/Seafood buffet, so there is a lot of Chinese food to eat from.

How much is it on a Saturday?

I think it was 39.99 per person. Kids were price so much per years old.

On Thursdays, does the lobster run out? I read below that it comes out in batches, but does it run out? I'm curious if I need to get there at 4pm to ensure we get lobster.

It's not worth it. Hyped. Dried shriveled lobster. You'll be standing around in line waiting a lot as they will only give you half a lobster tail at a time. Ridiculous. Otherwise the rest of the food was great.

Will they allow us to bring in a cake to refrigerate while we eat and be brought out to sing happy birthday?

Yes, we brought a cake in and they did not charge a fee. The waitress brought us plates and knife. Were so accommodating ! Took pictures. We gave her a great tip as she was so pleasant and cleared our table.

Are you open today? If so, how late do you open until? Thank you.

So we decided on Nonna's for their variety of pastas and pizza. The evening was packed with people up and down the streets. However, when we arrived at Nonna's we only had to wait no more than a couple of minutes before being seated. We thought most italian places would provide some sort of complimentary bread, but this place did not. We ended up ordering the Carbonara, Fusilli Alla Vodka, Pappardelle, and Salsiccia pizza. Each were fantastic, but the family really enjoyed the Fusilli and the Pappardelle the most! The short rib meat was extremely tender and flavorful. Portions were a little smaller than expected, but it was enough to feed each of us with a couple slices of pizza to spare. Ambiance was nice and the staff was great. A drink we ordered was forgotten, but it's understandable since it was quite busy. Overall, great experience and glad we ended up at Nonna's even though it wasn't part of the batch of recommendations provided online. (Sorry forgot to take photos as we were so hungry and didn't realize it until after we ate!)

They have a great variety to choose from, whether you're into milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or even non dairy options. I also love that they offer chocolate drinks and coffee, so it's easy to turn a quick stop into a little treat moment. I tried the peanut butter dates and they were so good. Smooth, rich, and just the right size when you want something sweet without going overboard. I also had a dark chocolate truffle and that one was just as good. You can really taste the quality. Customer service was a highlight. The guy helping me was super personable, gave great suggestions for drinks, and was genuinely kind, which always makes the experience better. Honestly, I'm just happy I found a chocolate spot within walking distance. Definitely worth stopping by if you're craving something sweet but still want it to feel a little elevated.

I sampled chocolate from Peru, Madagascar, and Kenya, and they all had unique fruity characteristics. Because they're vegan, so they use oat milk for their chocolate instead of dairy. My wife and I also wanted some drinks while we were here. I had a hot chocolate. My wife had hers with espresso shots. Good espresso in pure chocolate will never not be good. They are family owned and they only add chocolate, sugar, and oat milk to make their bars. Overall, this was a fun place to check out at Little Italy, and they also had a stall at the Farmer's Market.

Every time we visit this Italian ice cream they always have new flavors on their Menu. We tried so many already from Bobboi and recently we had WATERMELON, BACCIO DARK CHOCOLATE, and QUATTROBERRY, PISTACHIO, SALTED CARAMEL I agree with my Son that the Ice cream here was good. We always choose to get 3 flavors in each cup and everything is really smooth ice cream and good. There's always a line whenever we stop by, but the line always moves fast. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, but even just standing up eating there is okay because of the Vibe , we see everyone enjoying their gelato. Parking is not easy to find here, especially at night time on the Weekends.

There was hardly anyone in line when we walked in, but by the time we got our gelato and turned around, the line was out the door! I travel to Italy regularly for work, so I've had my fair share of authentic gelato. I have to say, the quality and flavors here were outstanding. Rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the staff. One of the employees was incredibly friendly, energetic, and genuinely passionate about the gelato. He encouraged us to sample flavors, asked what kinds of flavors we enjoyed, and made thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. It felt like talking with a wine sommelier--someone who truly understood flavor and wanted us to find the perfect match. You could tell he genuinely loved his job, and that enthusiasm made the whole experience even more memorable. We took our gelato outside, sat at one of the sidewalk tables, and spent the evening people-watching. It was the perfect way to end a beautiful San Diego night. The shop itself is casual, with just a few seats inside and several tables outside. It's a great stop whether you're on a date, out with friends, or enjoying a family night in Little Italy. Definitely a five-star experience. I'll be back the next time I'm in San Diego.

The only way you could tell it was a matcha drink was purely the color of the drink. I also got three cake flavors to try and was really excited to try them because they looked so beautiful. Unfortunately, the cake tasted dry and the flavor was just average. As for the service, they got my name wrong horrendously. I don't know if it was because it was loud or the cashier didn't bother asking for clarification but they gave me a new name of Rachel. This led me to wait for my drink for well over 30 mins before I had to ask for help. The overall ambiance of the store is very aesthetic and nicely kept but what really made me confused was there was a complete lack of trash bins. The only way you could dispose of your trash was giving it to a worker which was inconvenient because there are a total of 2-3 workers who are always busy because of the long line. For the price of the matcha and drinks, I'd expect more. I would not come here unless you love waiting in lines for some below average pastries and drinks.
