I love a good thin crust, and the fresh ingredients really won me over. The price is also very reasonable. A large pizza is under $30, which I think is a great deal--honestly, I'd even say it's on the cheaper side these days. They don't have different pizza sizes. You can either order by the slice or get a whole pizza. One thing I really liked is that you can split a whole pizza in half and choose two different flavors. That's definitely a big plus, especially when you're ordering for a group. The pizza itself is surprisingly light and clean-tasting. Even though you're eating pizza, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all, and I didn't feel weighed down afterward. Now, one small downside: you have to pay for water, and even hot sauce or ranch costs extra. Since the pizza itself is reasonably priced, I'm not really complaining, but... if I have to pay extra for every little thing, I can't exactly say I'm thrilled about it. I did really enjoy their habanero hot sauce, though! It had a slightly unique flavor that I really liked. After eating with my friends, I seriously debated whether I should buy a whole pizza to take home for the kids. I loved how thin and light the pizza was, but for my personal taste, it was a little... ordinary. It wasn't quite a "WOW, I have to have this again!" kind of pizza for me. So I decided to pass this time and thought, "Maybe next time if I'm in the area." Would I come back? Yes! If I get the chance, I definitely would.

when my friends and i decided on a craving for some italian, we had planned a little dinner date…read morehere tonight. we hadn't known at all what to expect, but it was the perfect girl's night simple dinner. when you enter, you go up to the counter to place your order at the register. then they give you a metal number to place on your table for the waiter to bring your dishes to you. none of us waited more than 10 minutes for our food to be ready, and they made sure to bring our appetizers first as well. the calamari was so nicely cooked (the server told us they bread it themselves in house) and the mozzarella sticks had some incredible cheese pulls. you could tell the bread was going to be delicious as well just based on the color and seasoning, and they did not disappoint. i had ordered the clam sauce with linguine, creamy style; this meant they added some alfredo sauce to the sauce to make it a little thicker in consistency. when i got my dish, the sauce was still fairly thin but i think the alfredo helped a lot for what i was wanting in flavor. the clams were exquisite and, if i hadn't stuffed myself so much on the carb appetizers, i would have polished it off right there. my friends said their dishes were also incredible. the only thing was the pizza; my friend didn't seem to detect any tomato sauce on her dough, only olive oil. she ended up using our dipping sauces to add, but she said it was still delicious. despite being so incredibly full, we still made room for dessert because how could we leave without trying the gelato? the strawberry cheesecake was exactly the perfect sweetness for me to balance out what i had just eaten, though the other flavors were just as good too. overall, it was an incredible dining experience. the staff was all very friendly, happy to provide recommendations or explain what deals came with adding on anything to your order. they were very attentive in checking in with us. the ambiance of the place is also so pretty and so quaint. i definitely intend to come back for another meal!

Been here about 50 times. They always have the main sporting events and the most family friendly atmosphere. Sure some times are better than others, but for the most part, of my huge sample size, I cannot complain. But I have to get something off my chest. I seen first hand what these workers struggle with. I've seen with my own eyes how blatant scammers try to get free stuff, I've seen the manager deal with some of the worst customers ever while still maintaining professionalism. I've worked in fast food for 5 years before moving to something else so I know first hand the type of scammers that exist, and these guys know how to handle it. If food takes a long time, I give them the benefit of the doubt, I've been short staffed. The place is clean enough for the amount of workers and work they have, I don't expect the cleanest place but it's good. The food is outstanding. Not once have I said the pizza was cold or a chicken wing was under/over cooked. Everyone from the manager to the guy cleaning the floors is always dressed with clean uniforms and washing their hands. If I had my own business I would hire their manager because she's so professional. She ALWAYS repeats the order, she's always so happy, she's always so nice, but doesn't rule with an iron fist but her employees LISTEN to her. Over the past weeks and months, I've witnessed the same family trying to scam their way into free stuff and I've always wanted to step in but I don't say a word. Whether it's "I didn't order this, I ordered this" (when I clearly heard them order it the first place) or they complain about the .75 ranch cups. Like seriously? These workers deal with enough, the manager and the workers deserves credit. These are hard working people. Shame on anyone who visits this place and wants to complain about the food or service or take advantage of this establishment. 50 times and counting with the receipts to prove it. My son loves playing with the games and putting his dollars in and getting quarters from the machine. I've seen the appreciative customers and I've seen the ones that were raised by questionable mothers. To any worker or to the owner if you guys are reading this, step up and BAN these customers. The dining room is set up family style with long tables lined up to seat as many patrons as possible during busy lunch rushes. Nostalgic memorabilia and artwork is displayed throughout the restaurant. Staff did a great job of keeping pizzas, chicken, potatoes, and everything else coming out quickly to keep the customers happy. Similarly, the dining room team was super fast to clear dishes and clean tables when folks left. Overall this is a great Shakey's offering great food and a great experience!
