Can't change this darned 5 star to 1 star - there's a lotta room for improvement on a whole lotta thangs... Customer is always right, and most people I interact with... well, I always have to keep telling them I'm right about everything until they stop talkin. Maybe Round Table should be listening since I now have this forum to express all that stuff my therapist and ex-wives were always telling me I shouldn't say out loud. My probation officer agree with me about everthang too. Well, he don't argue with me none. They have pizzas with the word "king" in it, and so I made up some expectations. Kinda like some of those people who have a one star review here. I get it. And I can complain here too without recourse or consequences in my own life because nobody really knows who I am, and so my community can't correct me for stuff that's my fault, a misattribution, or if I have a bad day. Finally, a feeling of REAL power. With this Yelp profile I'm feeling kinda like that guy, Mossolini, up there on that balcony of the Palazzo Venezia in Rome in 1940, when he used those appearances to project a sense of power and superiority, especially during his declaration of war. Now that was confidence! And so I digress... It would be better if somehow they could provide that little bit extra of something extra, above all the other places giving exactly the kind of service (described below) so as to better the "already all-right experiences" already had at the Sebastopol Round Table every time. Or, perhaps not. Maybe people don't want to be treated like a sole source of income in the room. Sometimes you just want a damned pizza and to be left alone-alone, or alone with your family and friends in a clean, well lit, modern, properly run, professional and family friendly establishment. To each their own. Some knowledgeable people who have dined here for years might say that "over the top treatment" would honestly be waaay too much to ask of these good people doing such a fine job consistently every time - - as it is now, and has been every time, throughout time, forever now. They would say the food is perfect... every time. I reluctantly agree. However, perhaps having an even more friendly staff than is already there every time would be a good start. I think everyone going to a Round Table should have an experience better than a Fairmont Hotel receiving a state-level dignitary. I mean, hiring 20 or so people who are always so "super on" and ready to go "over the top" the moment you even hint at slowing down your car to pull in to the parking lot would be helpful for starters. Perhaps having employees motivated and trained like sycophants on commission to make you feel so at home that you just want to start crying and get swaddled by them once inside. Free beer would also be good. Or at least unlimited free refills. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? It might be nit-picky, but I'm also noting the deficiency that they did not build a dedicated offramp and onramp to Hwy 116, or have valet parking, and don't have the waiters and waitresses on roller blades in the parking lot so I don't ever exert any effort whatsoever. I am assuming that these few and exceedingly reasonable changes could be made without much effort, or any kind of city permits or whatever, or increased cost to those handsome but very reasonable prices they need to charge in order to be such a quality establishment. So, more to the point of this review, we have been getting the King Arthur Supreme for years and years, back from the Pleistocene Epoch when they were located in the current Sushi Tozai building, and more recently in the Holocene Epoch when they were in the downtown crossroads area by Hopmonk. Always consistent, always the same - - really darned good. Lots of other good stuff on the menu too. Sodas to go in bottles, or on tap for dining in, salad bar always fresh and ready. Their lunch special is a really good value. Beer is very, very cold - - but not free. They have a newfangled ordering scheme where I think they want me to start ordering online with my thumbs since they keep offering some sort of text thing when I use my rotary phone to order, and I think I just need to get with the times. Location is always squeaky clean and the staff seem ok too. I dine in if hungry, but usually take it to go. Always a "go-to" if you have a hungry group of people needing a morale booster. Usually a double pepperoni with Jalapenos does the trick!!! Haven't ever had it delivered. Not in the service area. I made a request recently from another location, and they were very up front about it taking 15 minutes longer than coming down to get the pizza the moment it popped out of the oven. I picked it up so it all happened right on time! Maybe next time I can order at dinner hour on a very busy night, delivered through an uncontrolled third party provider and base a review on that! So I found myself in the Sebastopol area over the weekend feel like having pizza I love Round Table Pizza and so I went into this Sebastopol location. I called ahead of time while driving over. It was curious about a couple of pizza specials and Alicia answer the phone. She was superduper nice just great customer service very friendly. Informative told me about several different specials that were in line with what I was looking for And just really took the time to inform me as an inquiring customer as I was driving to the location. When I walked inside the round table, Alicia was at the front counter and she was super nice in person like in a very genuine authentic way the opposite of a check collector type of employee and turns out she's a manager, assistant manager or supervisor I forget sorry but I ended up ordering a personal pepperoni with a soda and it was just an overall really great experience. The pizza came out hot and fresh. The ingredients were put on the pizza really really well plenty of pepperoni and cheese no bubbles and she brought it out to me. I had Pepsi. It had plenty of carbonation tasted the way soda should and I watched part of the Duke March madness Game.. I was really appreciative because I was really tired and she was so helpful on the phone and in person just super nice. I told her thank you and that I would be writing this review. I asked her to share my gratitude with the pizza maker in the kitchen and I wanted to change The TV that I was sitting in front of and she was so accommodating like willing to just make the customer happy we found the correct channel TBS. On my way out I just said thank you. It was just for being awesome and round is lucky to have her and I think the kitchen for a great pizza made and just overall A-to-Z from time I called in to arriving. It was just an awesome experience. you know the food, the speed of service Restaurant was super clean and plenty of big screen TV used to watch various sports very positive energy in the location itself but also real friendliness from the staff so gotta throw some kudos out and and some business to keep them you know open if you like Round Table Pizza or tasty pizza in general check them out I'd be glad you did and they've got three or four big screen, TVs and Lots of lighting to Samiti food. I have never written a review for a pizza restaurant before, but after so many wonderful experiences with the Sebastopol Round Table Pizza, I simply must do so! Especially after such a huge success taking pizza and salad from Round Table in Sebastopol to my sister-in-law and her husband in Santa Rosa! Francisco, who runs the Sebastopol restaurant (and could be a franchise owner), is the kindest, most patient person!! And his memory is fantastic!! In fact, Francisco gently reminded me that my BIL can't have dairy, based on a conversation we had three days before!! So, thanks to Francisco we ordered Steve's gluten-free Gourmet Veggie pizza with the red sauce, not the creamy garlic!! While our two separate pizzas were being prepared and cooked, I built a delicious family salad from their fresh, well-stocked, versatile salad bar to accompany the pizzas. And, as always, I was very thoughtfully assisted by a lovely woman who went out of her way to place salad forks, croutons and the salad dressing containers into a paper bag! Then she brought me a plastic bag in which to carry the salad container and condiments! Soooo sweet & helpful!! Fast forward to our wonderful meal with my husband's sister and brother in law: Steve was thrilled to be able to eat pizza like the rest of us, thanks to Round Table's gluten-free pizza dough! It's been well over 10 years since I've ordered from a Round Table Pizza. Not much open the day after Christmas this year. I decided in curbside pick up and was parked at the front door. When I ordered by phone I was very clear I was parked at the front door. It wasn't very busy when I ordered. The person who I spoke with said it would be 15-20 minutes for my order. I called in my order at 2:53. At 3:38 I called back asking about my order. She asked me to hold after she gave my name so clearly she knew who I was and what time I placed order. Then apologized and put me on hold. A guy then answered and said the breadsticks were just coming out of the oven. I ordered a small combo pizza, order the 3 breadsticks (cinnamon) and an order for f 3 garlic Parmesan breadsticks with marinara sauce. Anyway, my order arrives curbside after about 6 more minutes. So now around an hour after I called. An apology was offered but nearly $40 for this meal isn't cool. The only reason I gave this place a try s because my usual pizza go to restaurant in Sebastopol didn't open until 4 today and I didn't want to wait an hour. Turns out it was about an hour after all. If you look over my past reviews you can see I really enjoy writing positive reviews. But today it was tough. I get home and the cinnamon breadsticks are delicious. The garlic Parmesan breadsticks have no marinara sauce. The pizza is actually not done enough so the dough is semi raw inside. The small pizza and 6 breadsticks cost around $34. I tipped 5 cash. So for $39 the only thing I enjoyed was 3 cinnamon breadsticks. read more

First time coming here as the Round Tables in Santa Rosa have completely fallen apart. Pizza ready on time and looks great! One problem, I am pretty sure I got thin crust, not regular. The taste is just not the same... I believe a couple dining in at the restaurant (mine was takeout, looked at toppings before leaving, never expected a crust problem) had same thing happen. We decided to do pizza and salad bar tonight and we stopped in at the Sebastopol Round Table. What a mistake that was!! The salad bar was terrible, the lettuce was on it's last leg, brown and limp. The pizza was very greasy and not that tasty. It was not the last honest pizza!! It was the last pizza I will eat there if they don't get their act together!! The staff there tonight was not friendly. I really like the location and the TV's and I will try it one last time in the near future... I pre-ordered my pizza from the RT app and scheduled a pickup for 3 hours later. I arrived a few minutes early and was informed that I will be notified when the pizza was ready. My pickup time came and went. The place was not busy, but no one said a thing to me. 15 minutes after my pickup time, the pizza came out of the oven. I suspect they started it when I arrived. Mind you, it was prepaid with a tip. The cashier alerted me that the pizza was ready and asked if I wanted red peppers and Parmesan cheese. I guess I don't give reviews on Yelp enough. The hubs and my favorite pizza is Round Table and they started delivering in our rural area during the pandemic and continue to do so which is wonderful. Tonight I called to see how long the delivery time would be and was told an hour. We were game, since it is a Saturday evening and all. Placed our order with the same person we usually do. As always, it was a great experience and very professional. Have to say that both the hubs and I were quite surprised (and pleased) when our order arrived in just 40 minutes. My review is for pizza places only! This is honestly the nicest, most clean Round Table pizza place I've been in. The place is spotless, including the restroom. The salad bar is super, fresh, clean. The salad bar has chicken and hard boiled eggs, not found at all Round Tables. I don't eat pizza often, so I can't compare on that level, but the salad is surely a "dieter's delight"! read more

Let me start this review by telling a story. Hear me out lol. Back in the day, circa 1989-1992 the Sebastopol Round Table was the place for birthday parties. There was a big screen in the banquet room, and a little arcade. I remember the double doors leading into that room, and having my 5th birthday there and watching a Disney movie. There was a jukebox in the main area, and the ceiling was made up of dark, bronzy, square, decorative tiles. There was a roof top area where employees could look down on the surrounding areas, usually seen if you were a part of the Apple Blossom parade festivities. If you were a child of Sebastopol during those years, you know what I'm talking about. When the old location shut down, I was devastated. I was no longer able to re-live those memories and gobble down my favorite pizza. Sebastopol didn't feel the same. When McDonald's shut down, I was devastated, and for the same reasons, but I did notice the old Curves fitness location was being renovated into Round Table!! How appropriate! Lol. I decided to take my children in on a Saturday at 12:30. Upon arrival it wasn't too busy, but that changed quickly. Sage helped us and if I heard correctly, it was his first day. He handled the pressure of a large line beautifully, and was tactful in handling the orders by himself. I was impressed. Every staff member I came into contact with was friendly and kind. There were no "just opened jitters". Establishment is very modern, clean and they were playing Neil Young and David Bowie- very Sebastopol. Remember those square ceiling tiles I mentioned in the beginning of my review? They have a similar ceiling in the new location, but it's white. That was a nice little touch, and for me, was like having a nostalgic piece of the old location. Here's the rundown: $12 beer sampler. 4+ TVs. Staff busses tables quickly, and wipes them down with water/cleanser & a rag. Clean salad bar. Fancy soda machine with all those add-in flavor choices. Beautiful patio. Free private banquet room for birthdays/meetings. We ordered a medium 1/2 gourmet veggie no red onion, 1/2 cheese. It was perfect. Congrats on a job well done, Round Table. read more

So here's the thing. I think their pizza is really good. Great value, good ingredients, etc. I can't give them 5 stars because of the wastefulness. Every time we have a pizza delivered, it comes with about 30 packets of cheese and peppers, and 10 paper plates. Nobody needs paper plates when they're eating at home! In these days of people and companies trying to be more environmentally conscious, it makes me cringe every time a pull out a million paper plates...especially when there are only 2 of us. Called in ahead of time and ordered a x large pan crest and a small pizza, I was told 30 to 35 mind for the pizza to be ready. I was staying at my moms, due to the recent fires and I was in a evacuation zone. I felt like leaving early just to get out and clear my head. I show up early, which I already knew and asked if I could be helped. I told the young man my name and I was early. He confirmed this, then he advised me he would be taking 10% off my order due to me having to wait. Now that's customer service, the pizza was amazing as is for most of the round tables in the area. Less than a day after posting my scathing review of the Sebastopol Round Table I received a call from Cindi, the regional manager of the ownership group that runs that particular Round Table. Cindi was genuinely concerned and could not have been any more apologetic about my two bad experiences at Round Table. Cindi and I had a great conversation and she told me that she has been going to extremes to try to hire competent and able employees but has not had the best luck. Cindi told me that on my most recent visit the other evening her managers were not on site at that particular time and thus all of the minor problems associated with my visit were magnified due to lack of supervision. I can't speak to the specifics of what was going on with the employees but again Cindi made it clear that this is not acceptable and that she is doing everything to remedy it. My gripe all along wasn't so much about the food or even the glitches that were occurring but more about that lack of customer service. The irony here is that Cindi embodies and exhibits exactly how customer service should be delivered. A simple explanation along with a heartfelt apology goes a very long way toward placating a disgruntled customer. I have changed my rating from one star to five stars simply as a result of Cindi's phone call and her promise of improved service. In spite of my avowals to never set foot in the Sebastopol Round Table I am willing to give it another go, again all as a result of Cindi's actions. read more
