Wow!!! I love what this Round Table has done to update their look. The food is amazing as always and the owner is a really nice guy who loves what he does and it shows. I highly recommend bringing your whole family here as they have new arcade games where you can earn tickets and exchange them in for candy, toys and other prizes. They also have have games to play at your table like Jenga or Connect 4. Great place for birthday parties, team parties or even a business lunch. I've always loved Round Table Pizza ever since I was a kid, and this place is still delicious. I love the topping options, especially the Gourmet Veggie. Went here for a quick lunch break. Was surprised that a personal pizza and drink were almost $7 with tax. A personal is 4 small slices. I asked for ranch from the grumpy cashier (maybe owner? He certainly had an attitude about it) and he informed me it was $0.60, so I passed. The pizza was just ok, and took about 10 minutes to be ready. Go here with the wife and gorge ourselves during their lunch buffet. It's $8/person and they always have fresh pizza's and breadsticks coming out. Not sure if it makes more sense for us $ wise to just buy an individual pizza, but we like the selection. Lesson first before you read the rest: Make sure you check other Yelp reviews before patronizing a chain business that may be either company-owned or independent franchiser owned, for quality of the product and/or service may vary immensely. I phoned this location for a pick-up order on Monday evening of 2 medium pizzas: a chicken & garlic gourmet and a veggie gourmet on a traditional crust. I arrived early for pickup so the owner and I made chit chat and he even offered me a complimentary beverage which I appreciated very much. He was pleasant to speak with. He opened the box to show me the contents and I just grabbed and left because I was really hungry and didn't think I had to scrutinize the product. My expectation once I got home (based on a Corona location that relocated several years ago to elsewhere in the city, other RTP locations, as well as the website menu pictures): good layer of cheese, generous ingredients, and a decent size crust. My results (which I regret not taking a photograph of before eating it): barely there cheese in that I could see a lot of the crust, stingy with toppings, and questionable pie size in that the crust seemed rather thin. I didn't call the owner to complain because I thought maybe it was an isolated case, but seeing similar complaints on Yelp validated that I am not alone in my disappointment. While his demeanor was pleasant, it doesn't make up for his failure to hurt a national brand. I will not return to this location and hope that RTP Corporate has enough sense to run surprise inspections and scour Yelp to get customer feedback to rectify poor quality. If in fact he is skimping on ingredients and even thinning out the dough yet charging the company-advertised price, this may help his personal profitability in the short term but it will certainly hurt him in the long run. read more

Wow! What a great experience!! I've never visited this location before and boy was I surprised. The manager/owner (not sure if he was both) was so attentive to the customers. We had the buffet which I hadn't seen before at round table and it was awesome. The pizza was fresh and they kept changing it up with simple pepperoni to bbq chicken and Combo! The salad bar was stocked well and everything was fresh. This was a great experience and the boss was really running the show to make sure every person was happy. The lacking part of the pizza was the bread, the bread didn't seem very fresh. The unique thing about this place is it has an all you can eat option. My experience: 1. Slow unfriendly service 2. Terrible product (Rancid meat!) 3. Difficulty having problem corrected by manager I normally love me some Round Table, but this location completely sucks. I too had to fight with them regarding the price of a special on a flyer that they had given out in my neighborhood. Initially, they tried to charge almost twice what it should have been. After waiting over an hour and fifteen minutes for it to be delivered (even though they are just five minutes away). I was approached by a driver that seemed to speak no English and seemingly had no intentions of thanking me for the $5 tip I had just given her (On top of a $3 delivery charge). An inspection of the pie inside found a pizza without toppings or cheese on approximately one-third of the pizza. Despite the poor pizza making skills, we decided to go ahead and try it anyway due to the fact we were starving. After taking a bite, the immediate taste of fish hit my palette. Why does a beef and bacon pizza taste like fish? The only reason I can think of is that the meat was rancid or contaminated. We immediately stopped eating the pizza because of fears of becoming ill with a food borne contagion. I immediately called the manager and after quite some time I finally convinced him to give me a refund on the pizza. He insisted on giving me store credit, but how could I ever eat there again after this incident? This is the only Round Table that I have ever had any kind of problem with, but unfortunately, it is the closest to my house so if I want Round Table, I will have to pick up from a different and better store. read more

Sometimes they are a bit slow to restock pizzas in the buffet, but overall it is one of the better all you can eat buffets. They try to keep a mix of pizzas to suit everyone's tastes. The location is clean, the girls behind the counter are always nice to customers. They don't stay behind the counter all the time like some places. They regularly walk out to clean the tables. Finally made it back in after they completed the remodel and addition of the buffet. The pizza is wonderful - Round Table has always been one of the best - but the manager seems pretty chintzy on the buffet. There's almost nothing out at any given time unless a big party of new customers comes in and then he yells back to the cook to send out a couple more pies, which get devoured instantly. We had to plan and be competitive to get the slices we wanted, but they sure were tasty. So while Shakey's has much more plentiful food at their buffet, this pizza is probably a little bit better. My first time here and i was pleasantly surprised. Brought my friend and my 2 sons for lunch. We had no idea they had a lunch buffet here. Awesome! Fast, fresh delicious pizza. Crisp, and yummy salad bar with a nice variety of toppings. My boys luved the classic pepperoni pizza. My friend and i were able to enjoy a nice lunch while my sons went off to play in the arcade. They had fun with all of the games and were especially happy with exchanging their ticked they had won for prizes. Came here because it's conveniently close to home and was craving pizza. From the minute my friend and I walked into the door, the owner greeted us with a friendly smile, and was extremely attentive and and quick to take our order. I guess it's more oriented towards a family friendly joint for kids to run around and play in. This Roundtable is under new ownership and it is so GREAT! They remodeled and completely transformed this location. We used to HATE and when I say hate, I really mean hate the old management. I vowed to never go back again and my husband who couldn't stay away from the pizza went back and found out it was a new owner! I was skeptical at first, but when I walked in, I was like WOW! The inside is new and clean now. They even have a cute kids section where kids can play games for tickets and redeem them for prizes. The offer beer and wine now too! Not only is the restaurant nice and new, the owner is super nice! He goes out of his way to make your meal great! He seems like the coolest boss and you can tell because the employees are good at their jobs and have a smile on their face. It seems like they actually like their job, which is very unusual for a pizza place ;) I have nothing but great things to say about the new Roundtable! Since this place changed ownership it's the best! My son and his friends are so stoked when they have minimum days at Beckman High so they can get to the buffet! The new owner is not just a doll but this guy knows how to run a business! Yes it helps that he's a Kings Fan! But seriously he greets all of the customers and makes sure you have what you need. The wife and I came in tonight, Friday August 2, 2019 for pizza, salad and wings. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and warmly welcomed with smiles and enthusiasm. Restaurant is still clean, tv stations, music. Fast customer service. So happy to see that they're still doing well under the new management. Don't pay any attention to the reviews a year ago because this restaurant is under new management. We have been ordering from this RT location for three plus years. It is a better restaurant now with a new owner. The previous management was grumpy, the pizzas were poorly made and on several occasions, our pizza arrived undercooked - DOUGH WAS RAW!!! We definitely noticed the quality from the new ownership. We always get a King Arthur pizza delivered, but tonight we decided to eat at the restaurant. Upon our arrival, Wagner (cashier/server) welcomed us. My husband asked for the specials which she promptly went over. She also showed us the coupons available. The large triple pepperoni special sounded good, but we didn't want to risk the perfection of the King Arthur. We ordered a large King Arthur and two beers We got the 15% discount from one of the coupons. This restaurant is great for a family outing, date night, guys/gals night out. There are plenty of video games and prizes for the kids, variety of beers for the guys and wine for the gals. We waited 20 minutes for our pizza to arrive. The pizza had ingredients all over. There was not one area without ingredients. Every bite was great, pizza dough perfectly baked and plenty of ingredients. Wagner checked in on us and was very polite. We played more video games, had more beers and enjoyed our pizza. It was a fun, perfect, easy date night. I like lime with my beer. They didn't have lime, but the manager was great enough to offer to go next store to get some. He found a lemon which was perfect - THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Under the new ownership, this RT is great. The pizza is better, toppings are plentiful, staff is friendly. We were talking about how this location was a 180 degrees from the one on the 17th street. It's bright, great music, fun atmosphere, affordable for a Sat night out. Tuesday has all you can eat buffet (with King Arthur pizza), too. The staff were happy and positive. All the employees help each other out with one goal in mind: to ensure that the customer has a great experience and will return. We will definitely return. We absolutely recommend. This round table is the closest to my house, they have a salad bar/all you can eat deal! Salad bar is like $5.99 and the regular bar is like $6.99, I'm a bit unfamiliar with the salad bar deal here but those are the numbers I know. Even though I'm just sitting here waiting for my pizza, I've had 2 people already just ask me how I'm doing. The overall interior of the restaurant is impeccably clean, there is an extra room called "The Tustin Room" - that's pretty cool! Definitely supporting Tustin High School Tillers. Servers here are very friendly so far, the person who had to unfortunately put up with me on the phone was very patient and nice. I could not be more angry right now. I'm a long time customer of this and another Roundtable locaiton and I love their pizzas. Having said that, the people here at the Tustin location are clearly careless when it comes to delivering food. I complained the last time their driver arrived without a mask (Covid) and now AGAIN the driver arrives without any mask. For the record, I am an older person with health issues. What good is it if the person resposible for DELIVERING my food is not being careful to not expose me to Covid even if the people making it have been? If he is infected and asymptomatic or showing symptoms but being dishonest because he needs the money, he is bringing the disease to my door via my food. If the delivery person is careless are the people making our food being careful? I'm begining to doubt it. This is the most egegious example of carelessness that I have experienced as it pertains to the risk of spreading Covid and delivering of peoples food. I'm actually angry about this and have disposed of my pizza delivery. Thats $30 in the trash. The cases of Covid as of today, 06/27/20 are climbing.
