We used to love this Round Table. Don't know what happened. Maybe a management change? Last few times, pizza subpar. Ingredients sparse. Overall quality off. Not sure if the "last honest pizza" is making substitutions for cheaper ingredients, but at the very least they are skimping. We had two pizzas and one was ordered with extra cheese. No extra cheese and even at a normal cheese rate, would consider it sparse. Cheese was missing on about a third of the pizza on the parts that bubbled up. The other pizza had multiple toppings and they were very sparse, as was the cheese. Looks like somebody is trying to improve their bottom line by skimping on ingredients. Won't be back as this has happened every time over the past few months. We realize every place can have an off day--which is why we kept trying. But we are finally giving up on this one We live about half-way between the Valley Springs RT and the one in Jackson with the VS one being a little bit closer. Jackson RT seems to have improved while the one in VS has gone downhill. The VS RT used to be our preferred RT, but no more. Worth the extra minute or two to go the other direction where the pizza is as it should be. Won't be back. Disappointing. read more

Service and management are awful here. Ordered a sandwich and was told 15min at most. 30 min later still not being made. Told 7 minutes more so I come back and still not made. Told another 5 minutes. Still not even started making. I ask for manager he walks to counter and says ya what's going on? I tell story above and he stares at me and says ok. I say not ok and he says we are working on it. I say not acceptable and he is shocked into a blank stare(or just doesn't care?). I asked for refund and left. Never coming back. Customer service is apparently not a thing anymore. read more

We enjoyed round table pizza today. Every table in the restaurant was clean that didn't have someone sitting at it. We ordered 3 pizzas, 2 salads, and 5 drinks. The pizza was served so fast. I think the first pizza took about 10 min. The salad bar was amazing. Fresh everything. All the help we interacted with had a freak attitude, and a nice smile. They serve less cheese on their pizza in Valley Springs, CA 95252 and charge you 10.00 something for a chicken garlic gourmet pizza with extra cheese, due to their skimping on it initially. We don't have a lot of choices of restaurants and this is a pick up order which tax is included, but we are talking about a PERSONAL pizza ONLY, very small for one person, only!!!. Was making a evening drive back to our camp ground and saw Round Table was still open so we stopped in for a salad and a pizza! The young man behind the counter was so nice and helped us right away. Shame on you owner of Round Table VS. I asked for a water with my dinner and was given a glass to fill at the fountain. Only to find out you included $3 in my bill to cover usage of your glass (plastic glass). You should tell customers up front they will be charged for the pleasure of using your worn out fixture. Put a sign at the register....better yet put it on the menu. Also, we order an alcoholic beverage with our meal. I like round table pizza. They are a great brand. They offer delivery at this location and for now, curbside pickup. This location is decent. They make great food and follow customizations to a T. They are friendly but don't have a great customer service attitude. If they make a mistake which happens they don't apologize or offer to fix it. You have to ask them too and even then they act like it isn't a big deal. Also their timetable is horrible. If you order online or over the phone, they always say 15 min. But in reality it's better if you wait 25 min or risk waiting around for 10 min. Overall a decent experience and I make this a constant stop. read more

I've eaten here before as me and my family are from the area. The pizza quality is pretty good. But they are very pricey and some of the staff are not very nice. I think they just need to try their best and show their best. Because there's been plenty of times where it's been the opposite of that. Like I said, the pizza is good, salad bar is great! But they are expensive and the customer service could be a bit better. We are having my daughters first birthday party here in a couple of weeks and I am nervous that it will be a bad experience. We've had lots of good experiences here before with family get togethers, but the gentlemen I spoke to did not seem happy that we were booking the "party room" on a Saturday. Round Table in Valley Springs DELIVERS! Sometimes, you just don't have time to go pick up a pizza, or maybe you and the guys are working on something in the shop and don't want to stop to go grab a pizza. Well, the Valley Springs Round Table does deliver. Huzzah! The delivery driver was clean, and friendly. The pizza was too hot to eat upon arrival (I mean that as a compliment!). The little delivery car looks to be in good shape. Radio dispatched, I see, Good thinking! Maybe that's why he showed up almost exactly when they said he would. We tipped the kid, he deserved it. My goodness, Round Table pizza got awfully expensive. Prior to ordering- We went online and printed a coupon (thank goodness for coupons!). If not for easily obtainable coupons, we wouldn't be ordering from Round Table. Ouch! However, our pizza was fantastic. Thankfully, we requested extra cheese, otherwise there might not have been enough. You can't beat the freshness of their tomatoes and peppers. Didn't order any meats on mine, so cannot comment on them. One of our pizzas did have meat, and the guy who ordered that one said it was good. The crust is great as long as you make sure to ask for "lightly cooked". Otherwise, they tend to overcook them. Valley Springs' Pizza Factory is still our first choice when it is just the wife and me, but when the gang is over, one of them insists upon Round Table just because he doesn't like to try anything new. Glad the Valley Springs Round Table delivers! Mike D.'s review mentioned he was upset that there was a customer with no shirt on when he visited the Valley Springs Round Table. Reminder: This is Valley Springs, not the city. We are surrounded by recreational lakes! A dude with no shirt drinking a beer in the corner while waiting for his order is not cause for alarm. Came during 30 min work lunch. When we walked in, only cheese and chicken barbeque were ready. The cashier said fresh pizzas would be out soon. Took more than half hour for them to put out fresh pizza. There was a whole chicken barbeque that sat under the lights the entire time. Maybe there is a rule that in order for them to put out the regular pizza we have to eat the nasty one first. Like when you were a kid and had to eat your vegetables before your parents let you get seconds. After sitting for half an hour, they finally brought out combination and pepperoni. The two pizzas were picked up by patrons in less than a minute. Chicken bbq still sat uneaten. The whole point of coming to lunch buffet is the food is supposed to be ready so you don't have to WAIT. Staff was somewhat responsive, not rude but not friendly. They need a lesson on the definition of "soon" in restaurant terms. I ordered a pizza from RT to be delivered. They told me 45 minutes to an hour. Well about 20 minutes later my pizza arrived piping hot and actually had the extra cheese I asked for! I forgot to ask for ranch but it didn't matter. The driver had a bag with my pizza that had two plates (it was a small pizza only for me but could feed two) 3 ranches and napkins! I just moved here from the trip-valley area and I usually go pick my pizza up so I get it hot and right. What pleasant surprise to have a delivery that was on point! Seriously I am not making this up the kid behind the counter shared that the owner is constantly raising prices because he can! He told us that people have even walked out when they see the prices. Getting dinner late after a long Monday at work, pizza was the ticket. A great place to unwind. Beer was cold, combo pizza was fantastic and the best salad bar around! !! The service, awesome! The servers were very attentive up to the point of asking if we wanted to go cups.
