Thank God I paid for a side salad.Would you make yourself but we would never go back there. They didn't even have any salt and pepper in the entire restaurant.. i'm shocked that this place is still in business but. None of the restaurants in san andreas really have any kind of decent for maybe the diner .. I wouldn't have minded if it didn't cost us $60.00 before we got out of there. Their regular hours are until 9pm on a Monday. We showed up just before 745. My friends and I met up there from several locations up to 30 minutes away. The manager on duty told us she had been working all day and they're closing at 8pm and that we can only take a pizza to go. That in itself doesn't work for me. My husband called to order pizza today and they told him the last 2 times he came in and got pizza he didn't pay. Last I knew you had to pay before they hand you your pizza. Last week he got pizza and PAID. The pizza guy on the phone told him that it's in their system that he didn't pay. that's bullshit. Hey I was actually looking on yelp for another reason and ran across Pizza Factory's review page- I must say while I have not eaten there in a while and things change. So in all honesty I do not know if it is under the same management as when I was there. When I picked up a to go order my pizza was perfect. I wasn't just pleasantly surprised I was shocked I only ordered two items so I don't have a Plaza request a 699 but I do expect certain things to be in the way I like it and they were 100% spot on. Went for lunch buffet. Not a lot of seating inside, maybe about 7 total tables, 4 seats each, 1 of them is a bar table. Salad bar was stocked, good spread of items. The crunchy toppings were in tall bottles you had to pop the lid off to use and there wasn't really room to put your plate down and do that. For the pizza they put a good assortment out, but if you want anything specific; ask. We were told the cook likes to put out a bunch of different things so people can try new stuff, but if you have a kid who just wants pepperoni let them know. Everything was hot and delicious. Service was excellent, the place was OK, and the employees were friendly. We ordered the large combo pizza for takeout. It came with a large amount of toppings, however, the pizza was overcooked. The crust on the bottom was dark brown and the meat on top was dried out over-cooked. We were hungry and ate the pizza anyway, just not very tasty. It was A-OK. Cozy little pizza parlor with small number of arcade games. They make thin crust type of pizza and it's made to order so it's going to be fresh and a bit of a wait if you like waiting lol My friend had their pasta and she wasn't a fan of it. Customer service was on point because they made sure we had everything at our table and convinced us to rearrange our 2 large tables for 8 people since it would be a hazard to how we had it set up. Several times we have been let down by this place . How do you run such an inconsistent business and are able to stay open ? You have children running your business whom have no interest in customer . Each time we order the food is different and never made the way it was ordered . My staff and our families spend upward of $500 a week here . Can't say we will never go back because it's the only game in town sometimes but will use any other option before going here . The employee Mercedes was rude and had no interest in remedying the order . Just that I was wrong and that was that . So I paid for my order and left it in the counter . The pizza is okay but has continuously gone downhill over the past years. To make it worse its overpriced and they always get your order wrong. It is the only place in town that delivers which is why I come back from time to time but ive ordered here for the last time. The kids they hire to work make the service memorable in a bad way. Terrible food. We ordered a calzone and beef ravioli. My husband picked it up, and he noticed when he opened the box with the calzone that all the cheese and most of the sauce was on the inside of the box. He sliced into the calzone, started eating, and then advised that the food was lousy. My ravioli was another story. The sauce was tomato paste. It had no spice or taste. I believe they ran out of sauce and just used tomato paste. Yucky! I noticed that the ravioli was also "dry" and burnt in the pan. The restaurant evidently put the pan in the pizza oven and burnt it black. They then put some sauce on it to "finish it". This food was completely inedible. I had an "Awesome Sub" sandwich yesterday afternoon made by Quinten! The guy is an artist with food. The sandwich was stuffed with meat...I did not have to go looking for it. It was on a really good simple French roll toasted crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. I have to go back to San Andreas in the morning for another meeting and I am looking forward to stopping at the Pizza Factory to have the same sandwich again... two days in a row. I just hope Quinten is there to make it. Full sandwich is $6.10 and comes with a bag of chips...well worth it. I also ordered garlic bread with cheese which was very good. I believe it's on the same type of bread the sandwich comes on and it's toasted in the oven. Inside the place looks like a typical pizza parlor. Small salad bar in one corner and .25 machines that will keep your kids occupied in the other corner. They make great pizza too. Not cheap, but they put a lot of toppings on. I would recommend either a thin crust or if you get the regular crust ask them to make it 'well done'. I had to send mine back for a rebake for a couple minutes. Worth a stop if you're passing through. Or if you're lucky enough to live in San Andreas, eat there once a week! :-) read more

This is a mediocre pizza place and the fact is San Andreas, though the county seat, is rather lacking in good eateries. Most of the best places to eat in Calaveras County are in Angel's Camp, Murphy's, or Arnold. Anyway, the pizza here is decent, but just barely so. The sauce tastes distinctly of can and too much oregano, service (surly teenagers) is unhelpful and unenthusiastic, the inside stark, simply but overly bright with flourescent lights - not what a pizza place should be. Everything else is utterly unmemorable. I remember when, not long ago, there were only a few of these places in the southern Mother Lode area - Calaveras County down to Madera County, then they spread all over the Gold Country. Then, very recently it seems, they spread into the Central Valley, the desert, and beyond. We have only eaten at this one and, as a result, are not interested in trying any others, especially since there is usually some decent other food to be had. read more

I just read the below reviews and my personal feeling is you get what you order if you don't order how you like a pizza it may not be up to your expectations pizza eatery's vary immensely . So my opinion is if you don't speak clearly and explain what you expect you may not get what you are expecting. Pizza differs greatly Papa Johns is the worlds worst pizza , Davids Pizza In Stockton Ca. is artisan as well and rocks. The women who work here seem very polite and willing to accommodate my personal orders and I am quite aware that my orders and expectations are tough . I personally love the place as they do artisan pizzas I prefer mine Fresh hand tossed dough (not that frozen chain stuff) Thin crunchy crisp crust is not standard ya got to ask Saucy pizzas are my favorite but If I dint ask I will not get it anywhere. Any and all combos go , I eat the Vegetarian and the veggies are always fresh you can hide alot but not the quality of your produce on my favorite. Perfect check check check. Nice little salad bar as well the single serving size is very large. Plenty of games around the corner in a little nook for the kids and not only kids can play. I spoke to others as well its a small town family feeling place everyone else seemed very satisfied . Others in our group had a peperoni pizza and loved it said it was a classic then we had 2 artisan Pizzas that were off the chart perfect. I see a below post whom says she spoke to the female owner she must have been mistaken since the owner whom I meet when I was there was certainly MALE and very concerned with every ones experience. Ive worked in the food industry for quite a few years if a pizza is made wrong you would certainly see it before even eating a bite Its not like you could sneak some meat on mine and I would not notice and I most certainly would not eat half and bring back the uneaten half and expect a new pizza for FREE Ive known people who do this regularly its scamming not saying the other poster was or is it just irks me when someone does this eats there fill then complains. After a weekend of lounging poolside, we picked up a small vegetarian on the way out of town. Is it run down and not kept up? Yes. Are there friendly employees that provided great customer service? I do not like this place. First, the staff has poor customer service. Whether it be on the phone or in person. They are really good at talking to themselves though. But soon as they have to come up and ask you what you want their attitude changes and they act like they are to busy to deal with you. I understand on busy days if they were like this but I have gone in when they were slow and still have gotten that service. Secondly, the food isn't very good. They almost always burn the crust on my pizza. I have learned to get something else like the calzone instead. I go out of my way to drive farther to get round table even though this is much closer to my home. I want to support local business but this place is not good. I would recommend the calzone to people and maybe have it delivered. I also really like their ranch. It's good. In total if you want cheaper food and aren't too worried about customer service and burnt crust then this is the place for you. read more

I go there twice a week and always have great service and the wings and pizza are great. So nice to have a good pizza place in town.

Been here a few times since the new ownership took over last year and the pizza has gotten a lot better and the owners are nice people. But they seem to be having trouble finding good help... On the weekends they seem to have an all high schooler crew running the restaurant and this is when I run into the most problems. Without an adult supervising they're left to do their own thing and they seem more often than not completely clueless whenever anything doesn't go exactly right and based on what I've seen the customer ends up paying the price more often than not (poor food handling etiquette, overcharging for items, pizza over/under cooked). Hopefully they'll get some good young help soon but for now, I'd stick to getting pizzas during the week when the owners are in. read more
