This pizza shop was so charming, the name is was brought us in but the food and service will have us come back. The food was perfection both the pizza and salad bar. It was clean and cool in this heat. The women who took our order and served us was a breathe of fresh air, so kind and attentive - she really went above and beyond. In the back there is a fun arcade we got to enjoy. Just all around the perfect pizza spot!

We took my son here for a last minute birthday celebration (he turned 3) although it can most definitely use upgrading and deep clean, it's a classic spot that's been there forever and I'm not sure if we just came on a extra good day or what but their pizza was amazingggggg. Will Come here again just to support local Barstow small businesses. Though I wish the city or the owners would pay for an upgrade in certain areas of this spot and pay for deep cleaners as well as fixing the broken games, Just needs some TLC!

Got the Supreme no olives. Was good, not greasy with a nice crisp to the crust.

I stopped by there on my way back from Arizona. Pizza was good and so was the antipasta salad. Make sure you order from https://route66pizzapalace.pizzamico.com/menu and not https://www.route66pizzapalacemenu.com/?utm_source=gbp You will be paying 40% more if you don't.

Would you pay $30 for this?????

This place is an abomination! We were driving in to Barstow at the end of a long road trip. We were starving and called this "Pizza Palace" to get a takeout order. The grumpy, impatient woman on the other end of the phone told us a small pizza would be enough for two. The pizza was the size of a bloody dinner plate. It had no salt added and no flavor. Then we got a "garden salad" with so-called "fresh" lettuce. It was like the lettuce you get off a hamburger stuffed into a styrofoam container. We asked for oil and vinegar dressing . . . we got a little container of oil. No salt, no pepper and no VINEGAR. When we got to the bottom of the salad, the bottom of the container was filled with water from the soggy lettuce. And then they charged us $30 for all that - before tip. If you really feel like a pizza then just go to Safeway and get a Boboli. You'll save yourself some cash and you might actually even be full at the end!

Pizza was good, outside the restaurant was a little sketchy and the inside was... odd. Price was outrageous for what we ordered.

Yes the pizza is worth stopping in Barstow. Lots of arcade games for the kids a very fresh, standard, salad bar.

The pizza was actually good. I liked it. You should try it. Everybody has different taste nice but the slices are nice sizes.

It was large tacos that were so big I could only eat one! I finished the others for dinner so there was great value to the price of the meal! The fish was cooked perfectly, the slaw was fresh and the sauce had just the right amount of spiciness! Delicious!

My wife liked the tortilla soup, but the spaghetti and meatballs wear subpar. Now I guess, I shouldn't expect good Italian food from basically a sports bar but I'll have to say it just was relatively bland. I ordered the habanero pineapple boneless wings thinking they would be spicy-- they were not. Now I will admit, I've gotten used to hot sauce so maybe that's why they weren't that spicy. I'm not sure if they're supposed to be soft, but the boneless wings were not crispy, maybe the sauce made the better soft. But, I did not like it, I was expecting more crispy. But again, maybe is this is the way that they're served. The ambience is okay it's a sports bar. Kind of small as well but very busy. The service was great. I was greeted within less than 2 minutes from sitting down, and I had multiple servers taking care of my table. So definitely they're not lacking in service. I just think since the last time I went there and this time the quality of food has diminished.

Nothing to write home about, but more on the fast food level. I got the hamburger steak, which could use more seasoning. The fries were hard. Not crispy, just hard. It took our server almost 10 minutes to acknowledge us. She was the sweetest though. But the service was extremely slow for a restaurant that was about 15% full. The women's bathroom had a small surprise when you walk in and look to your left. My son devoured his chicken fried steak so fast, I wasn't able to take a bite. He loved it! My husband got the chicken Buddy Holly burger and thought it was average. He couldn't finish his fries either. All in all, I would go back for the good vibes and awesome store.

Even though I've passed it dozens of times, last week was the first time ever stopping and dining here. The place is a kitschy, throwback paradise filled with all things nostalgia. The gift shop is a blast. From shirts to purses to figures, and even old-style candy. The restaurant is busy, but our wait time was only about 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and super fast. And the food- OMG! The menu is old school with staples like burgers, chicken, pork chops, and meatloaf. We decided to lean into the nostalgia and order the meatloaf. For the sides, we chose mashed potatoes and corn bread. The meatloaf is hands down the best I've ever had. Ever. The whole meal was excellent. We loved our experience and will definitely be back.
