I wish I could give no stars to this place.. wish it was better food for the PRICE...have a good time paying 17$ for chicken strips

I eat here on a regular basis found the food to be excellent and the staff to be superb. I recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

At Route 99 today, only one of the employees wore a mask. I mentioned it to a few servers. They were very nonchalant about it. Too bad because the food was excellent! However, if this type of thing happens again, we'll walk out!! read more

The food is good, but beware that none of the employees are masked. Servers, bartenders, cooks. Not one. If that's a selling point for you then go. Me... I personally won't be returning until the pandemic is over. read more

Awesome food and service to say the VERY least. The food is down-to-earth comfort food, soul food..... like eating at Grandma's place. The on site smoker is the best. I always have to get a doggie bag because the portions are very generous.... two meals in one for me so it's like half price. I highly recommend it to anyone. This a new place and I hesitated to do a review because I think it's best kept secret around at this point.... but I really want them to be recognized as the success they are and stay around forever. I stopped by the coffee shop out front and had the 99 made breakfast burrito on the run the other morning and it beats anything you can get at any fast food joint for only 5 bucks. I used to cook and spend a lot at the supermarket being out in the county but now I have pretty much retired my kitchen, actually saving money and the hassle of the crowds at Safeway. DRINK AND DINE AT ROUTE 99! Thank you! PS. They say no dine-in on Google... but there is a great and very cool, covered, country style, heated outdoor eating area in the back. read more

1st trip was amazing, I wish I could say the same about the 2nd! I ordered the brisket dip sandwich, which I had had on my prior visit. Last time it has amazing, the brisket was sliced and cooked perfectly. I was seated near the kitchen and while I was trying to decide what to order kept looking at the plates coming out and saw several of them come out. They looked so good so I went for it. My sandwich looked nothing like it did the 1st time. The meat was shredded and dry, and I'm pretty sure it wasnt even brisket!!! I asked the server about it and he wasnt sure what I got or what to say. I dont know if they ran out of brisket and passed off some other kind of meat or what! My girlfriend had the meatloaf. The slices were warmed up on the grill and looked burned and dry. They covered it with gravy so you couldn't really see that they were burned but the gravy had so much garlic in it that you couldn't taste anything else! I've literally never seen brown gravy with chopped garlic in it, let alone that amount of it. My bloodymary was not bad but it wasn't exactly good either. It just had no flavor. It was the weirdest thing.... The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful but still the good service didnt make up for the crappy food. read more

We live close to Brooks have given your restaurant a try 4 times now and are totally disappointed we have had things either forgotten to be brought to our table or things left off our plates that are on the menu for example this past Thursday night ordered a taco salad and the guacamole was left off the salad another example was milk not being brought out with breakfast had to ask again and then did not get the milk till the meal was almost completed. Really was hoping this could become the local hangout but we won't be back and neither will friends or family read more

Came before and had such a great lunch, so today we came for breakfast and were very disappointed. First, both of our orders were missing its biscuit. Second, the brisket seemed to be boiled not smoked. It was slimy and inedible. Third, our potatoes had no flavor not even salted. Breakfast was way over priced for it to be as bad as it was. Couldve gotten a much better bfast at Denny's. Save yourself the $$. read more

I really like their dinners and lunches, but think their breakfasts are AMAZING! The staff is friendly and always tries to get me what I want. My favorite is their cinnamon roll French toast. They should add it to the menu as a regular item--even though there's no denying it is "special" material. read more

We had hearing about this place for some time so we decided to meet some friends there this week. It was fabulous! I had the Eggs Benedict and I always substitute the Canadian bacon with crisp bacon. It was really good! They could've used more hollandaise sauce on it but it came with country fried potatoes and they were very crisp and tasty. My husband had their Veggie Omelette with shredded hashbrowns and a side of their bacon gravy. It also came with 2 pieces of toast. He could've ordered their homemade biscuits if he had wanted. He loved everything! A great place for breakfast and I have heard a great place for dinner as well! Their waitresses go out of their way to make sure that you are well cared for and have everything you need! The coffee kept coming. Our waitress was so amazing! Our friend who was with us was cold and our waitress got her a very cozy blanket to put over her lap and around her legs! She also brought her a mug of hot water to put her hands around because they were cold also! Now that's great service! A little bit on the speedy side but very good food! read more

Went here on a recommendation from a friend so let's start by walking in the small lobby. We had waited a few moments since they were busy. The girl asked us where we'd like to sit and we opted for the bar. As we were leaving the lobby I saw the specials sign on the floor I didn't get a chance to read it. The restaurant is super bright inside including the bar. The ambience was definitely killed by the lighting. The young guy at the bar first waited on us and he got our drinks. Asked not to have a garnish in my beer yet it came that way. No big deal. Drinks were halfway gone by the time he came back. When it was my turn to order I asked to have the brisket. He said bluntly they were out. Ok. Second choice a ribeye. We ordered salads and he brought those right away. This was the last time we saw this guy. When we were done with those we set the plates aside. The plates were never removed from the table. Like I said they were busy. Our food came at a reasonable time and it looked really good and it was. We needed new drinks yet no one ever came back to check on us. The guy who originally waited on us decided he liked the girl at the other table and spent quite a bit of time there I noticed. I could not get his attention. And honestly I shouldn't have had to. Never was told about the specials. Maybe they were out like the brisket. I see they had desert on the menu. Would have liked to have tried that but was never asked. A waitress just brought us our check and that was that. The meal was good enough to go back and try something else but this was our first and last time there. I'm sure like you it's unpleasant being ignored at a restaurant. But when you have help that chooses what tables to be friendly at just gives you a feeling you are not welcome. Case in point, the two couples that left as a group were headed out the door and were told "Thanks for coming in have a great night". When we were leaving, crickets... Look, don't get me wrong.. We are nice people and never said anything bad about the atmosphere or the help during our visit. Maybe they were confused on who was supposed to be waiting on us. We'll never know. read more

I am telling you the service and the food was great. First time in and well worth it. All the wait staff was exceptional. I believe even the manager stopped by to check on us. Amazing! Food....bomb. Large portions so bring your appetite. Only thing I am sorry to even say negative is a small thing. Lemon bar we took home wasn't very good. Dry and to tart. Not terrible for everyone, just me. There were tons of options for dessert so I'm sure there is something for everyone. read more
