Went in for my car door that was wrecked. He only had to fix and color that door and ended up painting the door and the other panels next to that door so that the color could look the same. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A PAINT JOB!!!! The color does not even match my car at all! He's giving me some bullshit saying that he needed to blend it to make it look good but honestly go somewhere else to repair your car! He got paint all on my windshield and part where he painted on my door! This is my first time reviewing Royal Crown but my second repair with them. A few years ago Alvin and his team repaired front end damage on my old Lexus. Excellent service, professionalism, and communication at a fair price. Alvin came out to my home in Torrance today to Plastidip the rims of my Maserati Granturismo. I wanted a new "look" without dropping too much cash and Alvin was the perfect solution. He Plastidipped my gunmetal grey Maserati birdcage rims into a glossy black color. All in all, he applied about 5-6 coats of spray; start to end time for all 4 rims was approximately 1.5 hours. He was very flexible about his work space and made sure not to overspray anything besides his intended targets. My biggest concern throughout this process was making sure that the finished Plastidip product didn't look cheap or flimsy. Thankfully, I'm very satisfied with how they turned out. This place is corrupt. Alvin, the 5'3" owner, who some mistake as a sloppy, live-action version of Pumba from the Lion King, is a con artist who sells off the parts of your car while the car is in the shop. He stole and then resold the OEM parts in my car for profit. My Lexus GX was returned to me with scratches due to poor workmanship. I later learned my insurance company now refuses to work with him due to scams. I made the mistake of bringing my Lexus to Alvin, I wouldn't bring him a hand-powered lawn mower. This place is crooked. Alvin is the definition of untrustworthy. He runs the business off of a mobile phone and the "shop" is just Alvin on his phone. Man I was supposed to get my car painted here because I always pass by here and they always looked busy and they had cool cars all the time . I called like four times and no call back . I figured they might be busy so I took my car in to get a estimate for a full paint job and when I got there I got greeted in a friendly manner and I liked the price and we set a time for me to come bring the car in which was Monday. I came in and they were closed like at 10 am . I got a call from the owner like around 4 pm to bring it in but i couldn't because of work . so I decided to come back Tuesday and leave it and again they were closed . They say that from the Service Holly Trinity (Good, Cheap and Fast) you can only get two, maybe true but Alvin and his team they really get you the 3 as close as it gets. The "owner" Alvin is the definition of a JOKE and his picture has to be next to the word clown as well. I made the mistake of bringing my 2018 Audi here for a broken tail light and scuffed bumper. Alvin had my vehicle for 43 days, I had to continuously call him about updates on my car and hassled him on when my car would be ready. Then had to show up unannounced to 14919 Crenshaw Blvd Gardena to retrieve payment for the balance on the rental because he took so long. I am completely disgusted by the work that was done and the chaos of lies that spilled out of Alvins mouth countless times. I am just thankful I so happened to take my vehicle to the dealership for a routine service and they stated everything was fine. I don't recomend Alvin because he works with scams, when he fixes body parts he is to lazy to do the work correctly... the entire work is a crap. I try to reach him, i go to this place and he's never there, he is hiding from me. If you guys go to Alvin, please check the work done after he says that he's done and you'll see what i'm talking about. Check every part carefully where he buffs it out, where he paints, and internal parts because he likes to put a lot of sharp things in the trunk n car seats. I would not reccomend this place. This guy takes forever and never replies to phone calls or messages. I picked up my car after 10 weeks of being there for a job thats suppose to take about 2 weeks. The fender still didn't line up with the door jam, the door still scrapes the fender. Paint drips EVERYWHERE. They broke clips on my window visors. I mean just a horrible HORRIBLE job. I didn't even want to go back for him to "fix" his mistakes because I can't trust them. After picking up my car all of a sudden my gas tank smells like its leaking gas, as if there is a hole in it. There's some weird addictive in my oil. I mean come on, this is just bullshit. I will never, ever EVER leave my car or reccomend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY. Every time I went to check on my car someone else was complaining about the shotty job they did. Yes I had to physically go there because this guy NEVER answers phone calls or text, always claiming his phone is broken. Also claiming "oh I'll have it ready by the end of the week" bullshit. I set up an appointment with Alvin 2 days ago to Plastidip my wheels and was quoted a good price (cheaper than the other shops that I called. Plus, there's a 10$ off when you check in on Yelp). When I got to the shop, I was greeted by Alvin and he stopped what he was working on and started on my car immediately. He was very friendly and accommodating..even offered me soda or water during the time I was waiting for him to finish. He even offered if I wanted to check out his friends Mustang GT's engine. Very humble guy. An hour and half later, he finished plastidipping my wheels and I was amazed on how it looked. It's perfect and I'm very satisfied with his work. I've spent about a day searching for the best place to get my bumper fixed in Garden until I finally found Royal Crown Autoworks. The staff (I personally dealt with Alvin) was very friendly and knowledgeable and the equipment they use is the newest available today. Their services were extremely reasonable for sure the lowest price in the area. This is a production shop that mostly handles collision repair and although they seemed very busy they were able to get me back on the road within 45 minutes. What good isn't there that I cannot say about Royal crown and The owner Alvin?! Alvin has saved my ass twice in about a two to three month period and both times provided me great quality, efficient and resounding auto body work in a timely manner and when he promised the first time. Basically Alvin is a man of his word, if he tells you three or four days he'll crunch it out and have it done so you can be rolling again like nothing ever happen. Contacted Alvin in January at RCA for rear end work through my insurance claim and he handled it. Came back for seconds in march after a valet damaged the front end of my vehicle and again, Alvin worked his magic by doing a hell of a job patching up license plate holes drilled into my front end and the damages caused by valet. All the work he's done for me has came at a very inexpensive and economically sound prices, not one job that has ever broken the bank and provides the highest quality work possible for great prices. read more

Let's break this review down on 3 aspects: cost, customer service and the overall outcome. Cost: I inquired about getting a wash/clay bar/wax for my BMW E60 M5 and the quote was very competitive with the local detailing/car wash spots in my area (Hawthorne CA). I was quoted $40 less than the leading detailer within a 5 mile a radius. Although most places charge less because the product or service isn't that great, I was confident that Royal Crown would perform a fantastic job since I've seen some of the cars they've detailed recently (W211 E63 AMG, W219 CLS63 AMG and a few 350Z). This alone was enticing enough for me to consider them. Customer service: Aside from the fact that they're mobile, the customer service is second to none. They were at my driveway no less than 5 minutes from the time they mentioned on the phone. Having said another, they will come to you no matter where you're car is located (within a reasonable distance) and detail your car on the spot as they have a water tank and compressor that allows them to perform their services remotely. Mad props to the guys at Royal Crown for coming through. I was a bit concerned since I was the last car to be detailed that day and I was worried that they would be too tired to really put some elbow grease into their work, but to my surprise, they worked on my M5 as if it was the first car of the day. Results: The paint was smooth as glass after the clay bar, and the wax/seal definitely made it shine more than it did after getting my car repainted last year due to my widebody project. The alpine white finish has never been brighter. I immediately noticed that there were less swirls on the hood and trunk and the gloss black roof. I took the car to 2 carshows the following weekend (Oakley MFEST & Long Beach Grand Prix) and people kept asking if the car was newly painted. They surely noticed the prestige condition of the paint and the process done to clean it. I definitely plan to getting my car done every month. read more

Do not, under any circumstances, take your car there for any reason. Our experience was a nightmare. Alvin, the "owner" of the "shop", took our car for repairs from an accident for 52 days and when we picked it up, the work wasn't complete and we had to take it to an Audi dealership who worked on it for another 18 days because the repairs were not done correctly. During all this time, Alvin could not be reached by phone (mailbox constantly full), did not answer his phone and didn't respond to multiple texts and e-mails. We checked with the BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repairs) and they assured us that he is not licensed!! The number on his website is the only number to reach him. It's his cell phone. Since we couldn't reach him, we had to go to his "shop". When he wasn't there, other people who worked there, but not for him, didn't know where he was and couldn't reach him either. He received a check from the Insurance Company for repairs, part of which was to be paid to the Audi Dealership for the repairs they performed. But, he didn't pay the dealership for a week, knowing full well that we couldn't pick up the car until he paid them. Again he ignored our texts, calls and emails pleading with him to pay them, making it so we could not get our car for an additional 7 days. We lost use of the vehicle for a total of 70 days! Just a total nightmare! read more
