My husband has got the Philly cheesesteak twice and each time has said "this is the best Philly I've ever had" and he's an avid fan of them. I'm going to work my way to trying other things on the menu... but that chopped cheese is just too good to pass up! Definitely worth the stop as we drive 30 mins to eat here! You won't be disappointed!

Chicken sandwich Chicken Caesar wrap 3 orders of fries and some sauces. With a 10% tip the total was $58.75. My boyfriend loved the chop cheese 5/5 I was not a fan of the chicken Caesar wrap because the texture of the chicken is off. It was tough and chewy and made me lose my appetite completely. Aside from that aspect the actual taste of the Caesar salad was good. 3/5 My daughter had the same issue with the chicken sandwich, she wasn't a fan because of that. The fries are basic, some were crunchy with a soft inside and some were very hard. 2/5 I am not sure we will return as the food is basic for an expensive price. I would suggest they at least offer some type of combo option to include a side and drink.

Authentic Pakistani Food Experience at Chandni Chowk - Fort Worth…read moreDuring my recent stay in Fort Worth, I found myself craving authentic Pakistani food -- the kind that instantly transports you back to the bustling food streets of Karachi. Outside of a few global hubs like London, Mississauga (Canada), or certain pockets of Texas, it's rare to find that level of authenticity. After some searching, I decided to try Chandni Chowk. That choice turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Atmosphere Chandni Chowk is not the kind of restaurant you visit for upscale décor or polished ambience. The setting is modest, unpretentious, and straightforward. But that's part of its charm -- here, the focus is squarely on the food. If you're looking for chandeliers and white tablecloths, this isn't the place. But if you're chasing flavor and authenticity, you're in the right spot. The Food Beef Biryani I started with the beef biryani, and it was nothing short of excellent. The rice was aromatic, each grain perfectly separated and infused with spices. The beef was tender to the point of melting in my mouth, while the spice blend carried a depth of flavor -- hints of plum, cilantro, and lemon weaving through without overpowering the dish. A side of fresh onion, green chilies, and lemon wedges elevated the biryani to another level, adding crunch, heat, and freshness. Chicken Seekh Kebab Next came the chicken seekh kebab. It arrived sizzling on a bed of onions and lemon, the smoky aroma filling the room. The kebab was beautifully textured -- crisp on the outside while remaining soft, juicy, and tender inside. The seasoning was bold, slightly fiery, and true to authentic Pakistani street food. Chicken Tikka Leg The chicken tikka leg rounded out my meal. With its charred exterior, juicy interior, and perfectly balanced spices, it tasted exactly like the kind of tikka you'd find at a Karachi food stall. It was nostalgic, hearty, and utterly satisfying. Service One of the highlights of my visit was the service. I was looked after by Mujeeb, who was not only attentive but also clearly passionate about food. During our conversation, he explained how much effort goes into sourcing quality ingredients and monitoring their preparation. It was obvious that this isn't just business for him -- it's something he takes pride in. His enthusiasm added an extra layer to the experience. Practical Notes For those who might be wondering -- parking is plentiful and directly outside the restaurant, which makes dining here hassle-free. Conclusion Chandni Chowk may not dazzle you with its appearance, but it excels where it truly matters: flavor, authenticity, and heart. Every dish I tried reminded me of Karachi's vibrant food streets, making this more than just a meal -- it was a nostalgic journey. If you're in Fort Worth and want genuine Pakistani cuisine, Chandni Chowk is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone, whether you're already a fan of Pakistani food or eager to explore it for the first time.
