Wow! This was the best everything bagel I've had outside of New York. We also got the strawberry cheese danish and chocolate cream puff and they were excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and they had very good safety measures in place (only 3 customers allowed inside at a time with social distancing and masks). If you're in the Harpers Ferry area this is DEFINITELY worth the stop. read more

This small shop in a shopping center conceals a real treat! I received a much better bagel sandwich than I expected and the coffee was hot and premium, not commercial. It was busy with locals on the Sunday morning I visited. The women behind the counter ran the line with an efficiency I've only seen in NYC, all while dispensing generous affections to the customers. Everything here is made in house. From the bagels to the cookies to the sandwiches. Your taste buds will be happy that you chose to eat here. Love this place... LOVE!! I feel like I'm back home in Philly every time I go there. This is the real deal, folks! The pastries are the same Italian pastries I grew up with and for that I wanted to leap over the counter and hug these people! I almost cried! I can't wait to see what they do around the big holidays because there's some unwritten law in the Italian bakery world that certain recipes are ONLY made on certain holidays. It's pretty crazy, I hope they bring that craziness to this little corner of the world. It's a mix of an Italian bakery, Jewish deli, and NY bagel shop. The lox and cream cheese bagel was incredible, everything was nice and fresh and there was probably enough lox on there for two sandwiches. The whitefish salad was just as good as I remembered from back home and ALL the sandwich sizes are HUGE. Every time I go there they always toss in an extra pastry "for the road!" Awesomely delicious!! My family came in for some desserts, and they lady behind the counter gave us and the kids free cookies while she boxed the pastries. The cannoli are for real, just a shell with fresh cream that they add when you order. I will dream about that cannoli. read more

I have always had a good experience here. I have had their sandwiches for lunch and their bagels for breakfast. Let's just say you will not be hungry once you are finished eating. My favorite is the cheddar or asiago bagels with their homemade chive cream cheese. My daughter enjoys their cookies as well. It is definitely well worth a stop! read more

Absolute hidden Gem!! Coming from NYC to living in Harpers Ferry was a total shock when it came to food. It was a nice e surprise finding this deli. It really reminds me of a NYC bodega style deli. But a fraction of the price. Carnegie deli/ Katz style food and quality. Portions are similar as well. They even have Matzo ball soup! read more

I never realize I never came back and gave this place a five star review that they so deserve. Since my last review we have moved to Charles Town and this has honestly become a place that I almost weekly pick up bagels for work. The bagels are AMAZING! Definitely the best bagels within the area including Frederick. The people there are always so friendly and accommodating for whatever weird stuff you want to ask for like to cut my bagel in half and don't toast it but the cream cheese on the side. The sandwiches are honestly to die for would go there just for them. And yes since we moved into the area I gained 10 pounds I guess that is a good thing. read more

I love love love this bakery they have the most delicious sandwiches but I think that the thing I love about the Charles town location more than the Winchester location is the fact that the girls are allowed to be who they are and it's like walking into somewhere that's in your own family while they keep things kosher and polite and respectful they also have the sense of just let go be wild and have fun with their job!! I believe the Winchester store will catch up to these lovely ladies attitudes over here in Charles town but right now they're just a little too uppity for me it's almost like walking into a five star restaurant over there it's not fun the food still just as good but the girls in Charlestown make Royallicious bakery what it is!! When I walked into this place I was greeted by a glass counter filled with delicious goodies. The mound of home made cream cheese brought a tear to my eye. On our way over to check out Harpers Ferry we were in dire need of food. I advised my travel partner that we would be lucky to find something other than the usual fast food joint, but was pleasantly surprised when we stumbled onto this gem of a place. The sandwich was one of the largest subs I have seen in my life, which counteracted my initial response of " wow $8 for a sandwich" hmph, well that proved me wrong. On my way across country and happened into this place. Lucky me. I was greeted by friendly happy people who take pride in their work and the bakery. I learned that it is family owned and on Sundays the owner makes tons of goodies .. Fresh breads and treats. On a Tuesday when I stopped they had lovely looking bagels with homemade flavored cream cheeses, there were also lots of sweets, Italian cookies, ready to fill cannoli is, huge cream puffs, and cookies. They also make great sandwiches. I had the Reuben. It was really good. Toasted, not greasy... And chock full of tasty corned beef! When I told them it was a great sandwich, one of the women said that I deserved a treat... And she gave me a bag and the menus. Royalicious is the bees knees. To my surprise, this is quite the tasty spot! Fresh bagels, giant sandwiches, and colorful desserts... what more could you ask for?! The sandwiches are truly gargantuan, stacked high with all of the meats. Service is very friendly and reasonably quick. Tip: there are very few seats in the bakery. This place!!!!!! Holy crap. Ok, I have been here 10+ times and have neglected to yelp (sorry) here's the deal. This place is LEGIT. Let's start with the food, the bagels are baked fresh at 3am daily, they use no preservatives, you can't buy day old bagels. They're chewy. They're flavorful, they taste like little heavenly bagel angels made them and sent them through a toppings chute right in to the baskets in the bakery. The holes are small so cream cheese doesn't squirt out everywhere, cause you know they load them up with about a 1/4 lb of the stuff. Let's talk about the cream cheese... It's fresh, by fresh I mean they make it there. The veggie cream cheese has FRESH VEGETABLES mixed in to it.. Little crunchy carrot sticks chives, maybe some green peppers? I'm not sure but it's freakin amazingly thick, creamy and delicious. They also have green olive cream cheese, blueberry, strawberry , plain, chive, and nova lox. It's a GREAT BUY at just 5.99 lb. seriously, don't leave without it. There is a selection of cookies that would send even the whiniest 2 year old in to a blissful state of wonderment, and of course, they're all delicious. They've got donuts, cheese cake, fresh baked bread, rolls, cakes, omg. Let's talk about SAMMICHES!!! They're 3lbs a piece, you can't eat the whole thing if you tried. Everything at this place is delicious to the point of ridiculous and you need to check it out. The girls that work there are just as sweet as the pastries! Totally cool!! Feels like home. Sandwiches are the best in the area. Pastries are dangerous! Cant buy just one. Staff is great! Friendly and upbeat. One of those places I can go back to daily. Coffee is okay, but its still better than most of the stuff around. I love the fact that they are open until 8! Makes it easy to say no to dessert if youre out to dinner since you can just swing by Royalicious on the way home. Which we did many many times! read more
