It's good to see workers with nice smiles and some "God Bless You's" It was our guest of honor's family's first time to Red Ruby's BBQ and everything was tasty. We ordered the big family meal that served 12+ people. To give my honest opinion, I actually thought that the sides would go further for that type of deal. It being our first time there, we really had no clue how big they would be. A tad disappointed because we had to order more and more sides to satisfy the hunger for 14 people (4/14 were children) If I could give advice, I'd say that the sides should be portioned out a bit better to serve 12 +guests to avoid having to order more sides. Other than that, the food was amazing. Our server Amanda went over and beyond and was great to interact with. She always communicated very well with us as to when the food would be ready. Also, I love the fact that we were able to make reservations for our son's special day. They had the table ready for us as soon as we walked in. We recently found out they are open for breakfast. My husband and I tried it and we will definitely be back. We went to Ruby Red's BBQ yesterday for take out. The decor of the restaurant was incredibly gorgeous and the country music was so appropriate. We weren't expecting to see such a beautiful and peaceful restaurant. The employees were friendly and made you feel at home. They were attentive to the needs of their customers and was continually stocking the silverware and homemade bbq sauce. Of which... one of the BBQ sauces was still warm. We took our food home and all 5 of us immediately recognized that the food was excellent and that it was enough for 2 to 3 meals. We ordered 3 types of sandwiches (pulled pork, brisket, and chicken salad) along with the chicken, ribs, cole slaw, and beans. EVERYTHING WAS SO TENDER AND DELICIOUS. Hated it, hated it, hated it. The chicken was dry and small. The brisket had no flavor. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT order the corn, you will get a sad & cold heaping pile of crap. I saw an employee talk to a table of motorcyclists for about 20 min whilst my table needed to be wiped off. I ended up wiping it off myself. Gross. Do you own an airfryer? On Friday's my office staff chooses a new spot to try and today it was Ruby Red's BBQ. This spot just had opened, so of course we had to. Picked up a menu the night before and the place was nicely decorated. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed with a friendly greeting. Requested a menu and was briefed on the items. It was a smooth in and out. Friday we all placed our orders and I decided on the BarbeCuban sandwich (pictured). The sandwich was well proportioned with plenty of meat. My only gripe was that it wasn't seasoned very well. I had read the reviews beforehand and this was a common complaint, so after trying I would have to agree. Added a bit of seasoning myself and it was good to go. I am sure it will improve. Listen to the reviews and make some tweaks. I will be back for a second take On to the next.... read more

I ate there last Wednesday and really enjoyed it. I came back today at 11am, and was I disappointed. I placed an order to go just after they opened at 11 AM. The Mac n cheese tasted like yesterday's leftovers. I got the bottom of the pan's crust along with the Mac n cheese. Also the brisket was dry, maybe that was left over from the previous day too. The cornbread was good, my husband liked the coleslaw. We split a sandwich, that was okay, but a little dry, we got a the Texan. So all in all it was mostly terrible, plus kinda pricy, $40.30 for the meal. Especially since the food was not good. Sorry, just my opinion. read more

A great local spot for bbq! I like that you can order as much meat as you want. They have the meat selections by 1/4,1/2 or full pound. And you order sides separately. For the sandwiches some you can get as a slider vs a full size sandwich. I like that you can order as much food as you're hungry for! The bbq ribs just melt in your mouth they are so good. They are apparently smoked for 12 hrs which is just great.The salted potatoes are good and taste better when dipped in the chili. First time here. I work in Texas and this place gave me the vibes of an authentic Texas bbq spot. Only thing missing were the French fries. Ordered the brisket, pork ribs, Mac and cheese and the salted potatoes. What a amazing combo. I tried all the sauces and the Ruby was the best for me.
