We ate breakfast there this morning and the meals we had were delicious. The omelet I had was very tasty and my wife's egg & bacon sandwich also was very good. We shared the cinnamon swirl pancakes and we were not disappointed. The restaurant staff was prompt and very courteous. Will definitely eat there again. read more

Absolutely LOVED my meal!! Came here at lunch time and waited just a few minutes for seating outside. The wait staff were kind and patient. I had the bananas foster which was one of the best things I've eaten in Knoxville :) I ate every. Single. Bite! We also ordered a side of biscuits, which were very good. I was a little disappointed that the biscuits came with smuckers jelly instead of something local. However, the meal was fabulous! read more

Oh, where do I start? This place was so funky fresh I would eat there everyday if I lived in the area. We waited hardly any time for our table at 10:30am on a Sunday morning and the food was delicious. My husband got the Nutella cheesecake stuffed French toast and it was enormous, as well as delicious. He also got the fried chicken sandwich which was also not disappointing. I ordered a build your own omelet which I loved because it had everything in it that I wanted and nothing I didn't. Although we didn't have cocktails because we still had to drive back home to Chattanooga THEY HAVE BACON VODKA for their bloody Mary's. I don't even like tomato juice but I would have had one of those has I not been driving. The area this place is in is so beautiful and artsy. You can walk around and appreciate the art while you wait for your table. The atmosphere was just loud enough for us to be comfortable having our young children in there and very fun. Our waitress was just delightful and knowledgeable about the menu which is always helpful. We loved it and hope to return on our next trip to Knox. read more

I did really enjoy this restaurant. I went here for an early brunch with some of my friends and we all really enjoyed it. It had a joyful atmosphere and delicious food. My only complaint is that I had a party of 6 girls and when we got there one of the girls was going to be late because of car trouble. However, they would not seat us until we had all of our party so we couldn't even sit down and get drinks. We ended up waiting 15 more minutes until my friend confirmed that she wouldn't be able to make it. So the whole situation to not be able to sit down until our whole party was there just cause some inconvenience and annoyance. read more

The Trifecta was the best thing on the menu. The fried chicken was juicy and the shrimp was fresh tasting. I'm a breakfast junkie which is why I gave Ruby Sunshine three stars. We had a late lunch a few weeks ago after shopping the farmers market on the square. The menu was kind of small but the food was really good. I had the chorizo breakfast and it was very good, not spicy, which is perfect for me. The waitress was very sweet and took great care of us. I ordered the fried chicken and gravy biscuit sliders. The menu said it came with fries. I realized towards the end of my meal that the french fries were never brought out and when I mentioned it to the waitress she offered to give me a ToGo order of fries. I declined. I would've wanted them with my meal. I thought maybe I would've been charged differently, but I was still charged for the "combo" as the receipt said. The fried chicken on the sliders was also very burnt which I mentioned to the waitress. I tried to cover up the taste with hot sauce to no avail. My daughter ordered the Migas. She said it was ok, but nothing special. I continually hear mixed reviews about this place. Two burnt chicken sliders, the Migas and an iced coffee were $30. I was not very pleased. read more

To be honest the food is not worth anywhere near the price. Their biscuits aren't good at all. They're very thick and as hard as a brick. The service was also very poor. It took the waitress 15 mins to just ask me what I wanted to drink. Then she never gave me a refill the entire time even though I ran out of water before I even got my food. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, btw. I gave it a 2 star because the French toast bites were good. read more

Where it's at... The patio is great for social distancing and still getting your Market Square fix. Biscuits were great and the French toast bites were really good, crunchy with the frosting. Came in from out of town and decided to take the family out for a nice meal. Every other restaurant was packed with a long wait so we decided to give it a try since here wasn't a wait at all. Very disappointed. Gnats in my daughters food, slow service, had to ask 4 times for my sons hash browns and finally told them to forget it. I ordered shrimp and grits (one of the most pricy things on the menu so you would think they would ensure the quality of it) cold and had to send it back. By the time I received my food the rest of my family was already done eating. Usually not one to complain but well deserved here. Now I know why they were empty and every other surrounding restaurant was packed. Won't be coming back when we return to Knoxville. read more

I chose this spot for family brunch and wanted to love it- wait time was long to be seated as well as to receive the food, and the food was luke warm to cold upon arrival. Cold eggs are never a good thing. The use of Hollandaise was a bit overkill for my taste and made everything soggy despite the fact it was congealing. I ordered a Benedict as did my husband and both were drowning in it. One out of the four people I ate with may have enjoyed their food but was likely just being polite as I had chosen the fare, said she would like to try it again. read more
