Great salad bar and really good service. FOOD Ruby Tuesdays is one of the few places where you can get a solid salad bar. They don't skimp on the options (3 kinds of lettuce, and more than 20 different toppings) and everything looks fresh. In addition to the salad bar I also had their buffalo chicken minis, which were zesty and perfect mini size. SERVICE service was excellent. I've been here 3 times and each time my server only comes to the table if I ask. They have very high prices for ruby Tuesday like really? 7$ for a kids Mac n cheese? Or grilled cheese ? That better be made of gold! And I went to order on happy hour and all they had was one of their 6 items available! Then the queso was terrible so I told them it tastes like freezer burned fake cheese and had spinach in it and very spicy not much flavor so she asks if I want to sub something out and offers shrimp fondue not the best and she said she was taking it off my bill and then it was on my bill we spent 1:45 min that's how slow service is a-freaking-loha not coming back here ever again read more

Always go for the combo mini burgers with the all you can eat salad bar. Turkey mini's are filling and tasty with really soft buns. I think the salad bar selection is fantastic with the choice of lettuce, beans, cheeses and let's not forget the yummy crutons. However, the dirty mat in front of the salad bar is disgusting and smells. Also, the communal serving spoons are pretty gross as well. A person in front of me sneezed into their hand and then grabbed the serving spoon. Totally disgusting and a turn-off. The fries are skinny and burnt, nothing to rave about. The appetizer spring rolls are actually really good. A little bit of a kick, cheesy and tasty. I came here once with my cousins and thought it was alright. This last weekend, I went here and was utterly disappointed. My fiancee and I went because we were hungry and were debating over KFC. First off, the waitress served us well and brought our food immediately. As for the food, we ordered the guacamole appetizer and chicken guacamole bacon sandwich. Both were completely bland. Flavorless and all. I think that a fast food restaurant can easily top this place. For my first time here, shocked and disappointed. the wait time for a waitress to stop and take our drink order took long enough. the time for the drinks to come took even longer. We had questions about the menu and it seemed as if the waitress' answer was obvious and broad. We ordered the New Orleans Seafood, Ribeye AND Kids meal(cheese sticks and broccoli.) New Orleans Seafood: Zucchini was grilled and slight seasoning. Fish and shrimp over seasoned, overcooked and drowned in sauce. sweet potato fries came out soggy and cold. Ribeye: Zucchini again cooked well. Ribeye came out rare, rare, rare. Bloody and still soft as if not even heated to the middle. (Mind you we ordered medium.) Loaded baked potato, maybe one ounce of sour cream, cold shredded cheese and a dash of bacon bits. Potato was still hard, undercooked and lack of seasoning. Kids meal: cheese sticks are definitely from the freezer and came out cold. The accompanying sauce seemed to be their homemade watered down version of marinara sauce. Brocolli came out green and tender, no sauce or seasoning. Dessert with the meal, was a sad version of a chocolate chip cookie about an inch and half big. For the price, even the kids were expecting a delicious, appealing dessert. I wanted to like this. I mean, the restaurant is a big box chain, but it's close to home, breakfast, that I didn't have to cook. It looked promising as we walked in. We were greeted and seated instantly. The hostess asked if we wanted coffee, I said yes, dad said no, he'd like tea. Then we waited. Our server came by after a few minutes, saying "Oh, I thought she brought you drinks". She then asked if we were ready to order, we were and she was off. We quickly got our coffee and tea, then the wait began. We waited about 30 minutes, I asked for a glass of water in this time, for our food to arrive, both steak and eggs, both steaks were over cooked (we ordered medium, we got well done and medium well). I ordered tomatoes insteak of hash browns, but hash browns are what I got. My dad got the servers attention, who had a fresh glass of water in her hand. He told her about the tomatoes, she left to correct it, but forgot to leave my water. Dad cut into his very well done steak and when she returned with my tomatoes he asked about my water and asked to have the steak redone. While we waited for his steak, the manager came over to apologize, we again asked for water. He brought the water and then shortly after brought dad's steak (more medium well, but we weren't gonna wait any more). We ate a little, then asked for containers to take the food home. He got the check, she ran the card, brought it back for him to sign, but forgot the take out containers and a pen. After about 10 minutes, I walked over to a table that had left and had a pen, grabbed the pen, then went to the bar to ask for to go containers. The server was nice, I'm hoping she was just new and that's why she was so forgetful. But the food was meh. That's what we get for trying to be quick and easy about our steak and eggs. Enjoyed late lunch with friends. Surprisingly crowded, so the service was a little slow. Our server was a little scarce once she took our order and had to be flagged down for extra napkins, refills on water, and take-out boxes for our leftovers. I am giving this place a 3 star rating. This place would have gotten lower but they do have the best salad bar which is what made me give them a little better review. First of all, forget coming on the weekends, it's crazy busy with all the military folks who live near by. Parking is difficult and you wait a long time. They have live entertainment and happy hour specials which are a pretty good deal. Ok, about that salad bar... the ambrosia and the rye croutons. The rye croutons are the best croutons I have ever had. I have a confession. I have snuck a baggie in once and took some home with me. They are that good. There's a plethora of colors and items on the salad bar ranging from ham to hard boiled eggs to peas. As or their menu, I think they are a bit overpriced for a family restaurant. I usually get the mini sliders which are yummy and reasonable. Try have a slider sampler which has a beef, turkey and crab cake slider. The crab cakes have real crab! Otherwise, I would say their food is mediocre. So I raved about the salad bar and you ask why 3 stars? Service is slow, the workers aren't too friendly or knowledgeable. I asked our server about how was one of the appetizers prepared and she didn't know. I'm here for lunch a couple of times a month. . and I never venture. My usual order is the Mini Burger/Salad Bar lunch combo. Mini burgers are great, but the all-you-can-eat salad bar is what keeps me coming back! The salad bar is a meal by itself and you can make it as healthy or non-healthy as you like. Wide variety of greens, vegetables, and toppings including edamame, chick peas, pasta salad, and fresh pineapple. However, the "must have" is the dark rye croutons that are soft and flavor-full! Ate an early dinner there yesterday with my son. We got there at about 4:30. It was not very busy so we were seated right away after we waited a few minutes up front. The hostess was missing from her station. Upon being seated, we were greeted promptly by our server, Davis. He was very informative, HONEST, and his suggestions were spot on. My son had the 1/2 rack of ribs with rice and green beans. I had one of their specials. It was a 8 oz. sirloin tip stacked on mashed potatoes and gravy with a very small side of broccoli. I also added on the endless salad bar. They have larger portions on the menu but we weren't that hungry. The salad bar was very good. The veggies were fresh and crunchy. The pasta and potato salad was tasty. The only thing I noticed were the tomatoes looked like they might have froze. They looked watery like it was frozen and then thawed out. Maybe the bar temp was too cold? Other than that, the salad selections were good. All of our food came out promptly. The dishes were nice and hot and very DELICIOUS. I was craving steak and this meal seriously hit the spot. The ribs were VERY good too with the mango glaze. They have 4 glazing options to the ribs. Davis was kind enough to let us taste the spicy/sweet and original bbq. The 4th option is a dry rub. Of the sauces we rated them in this order: 1 mango, 2 spicy and sweet, and 3 original. The ribs were fall of the bone and suck your fingers ono. The green beans were thin and a little overcooked but still very yummy. My sirloin tip meal (medium) was so good I pulled a Harry Met Sally with every bite. (MMMM MMMMMM AW MAH GOD MMMMMMMMMMM). Davis was attentive and our drinks were refilled promptly. He even brought my beers pretty quickly. And if you're a beer drinker, you understand what I mean. To have to wait forever for that follow up beer is a party foul. We had room for dessert. We got the blondie brownie with ice cream. This was super yum and a perfect ending for our meal. The entire meal was about $64 for the two of us. We were satisfied and happy. I went here with a friend, as this was my first time to eat at Ruby Tuesday.. I love the Asian Dumpling!! If I can, I would just order that... but no, I had the Mini trio as well. They were really good and tasty. the crab one is good although i found it very messy to eat. Late review post for lunch a few weeks back with a friend. Service was very commendable! Our server (oops can't remember her name) was very attentive and genuinely warm and friendly. We received our order fairly quickly. The cocktail that I had ordered, Honey'd Peach Tea (made with Honey Jack Daniels) was so delicious! It was not too sweet and still very flavorful. For my entree, I ordered a Chicken Katsu Loco Moco....from Ruby Tuesdays! A chain restaurant! I just love that the restaurant had customized their menu to cater to the local cuisine. That made me really eager to try their version of a loco moco! I've had a chicken katsu loco moco before at another food establishment. Chicken Katsu over a bed of rice topped with eggs cooked to your liking and drizzled with gravy. At Ruby Tuesdays it was good. It was a good portion size and cooked well. I even took home a sizable amount as leftovers. The thing that bothered me was that there really wasn't anything that stood out or made it their own. Over Hawaiian fried rice maybe would have kicked it up a notch. The desert - we shared a strawberry shortcake sundae was large enough to share and very tasty looking. It tasted alright. We dropped by to check out their Steak and Lobster dinner for two for $40, this is a special until the end of February 2020. This meal comes with a Caesar salad, steak, lobster tail, and baked potato. We added the loaded baked potato option for $2 more. For the money you can't beat this meal! The Caesar salad was a great start, the steak was cooked well and very tasty, the lobster with drawn butter was delicious. The loaded baked potato left us pretty filled, no room for desert. It's been a while since the wife and I had breakfast at Ruby Tuesday in Moanalua, so when we couldn't find parking at a popular cafeteria in Mapunapuna, we kept on going past the airport and slid into a very convenient parking space at Ruby Tuesday. We last went there in June 2010, when they first started serving breakfast. As I recall, the menu consisted of one page, and the food wasn't all that wonderful. I had their kalua pig hash and fried rice with an egg on top. Didn't particularly care for it. I wanted to give them another chance - figured nearly five years was a long-enough wait. What a difference. The breakfast menu expanded immensely, and matched all their other menues. Our server, Kristina was wonderfully attentive and helpful, from the moment she greeted us to the moment we left. First of all, the biscuits. As TV chef Rachel Ray says, "Yummo." Very light, very tasty. Prepackaged butter and jam, of course, but who cares? It went well with my hot coffee and orange juice. The wife had their Spinach and Mushroom Scrambler (scrambled cheese eggs, baby portabella mushrooms, Swiss cheese, artichokes, creamy spinach sauce, served with sliced tomatoes). I tried a bit, and nodded my head in agreement. Couldn't say anything because it's impolite to speak with one's mouthful. Her scramble came with fresh tomato slices. More about the scramble later. I had their Chicken and Waffles (crispy Belgian waffle topped with spicy chicken wings, served with butter and maple syrup). Now, every time I've had chicken and waffles anywhere, from Honolulu to Las Vegas, I was disappointed. They always served chicken breasts, which when deep fried, can end up tough and dry. These pieces of chicken, however, were wings. See, wings have lots of skin that crisp up nicely when deep fried. I'm sure you've had chicken wings -with tea, with beer, in front of the TV, at parties - so you know what I mean. The wings were great, nicely seasoned and crispy/tender. And the waffle - waffles have to be crispy crunchy on the outside, and soft, moist and sweet on the inside. The Ruby Tuesday waffles were just like that, quite unlike the usual waffles I've had at numerous other restaurants. Waffles and chicken, chicken and waffles. With maple syrup (I asked if it indeed was maple). The wife couldn't finish her breakfast, so she asked Kristina to wrap it up for her. Well, Kristina came back and apologetically advised that when she placed the scramble plate down to get a box, someone picked it up and threw the leftovers in the garbage. So, to atone, she ordered another complete spinach and mushroom scramble on the house for us to take home. Now that's customer service, and a sure way to get me back there. read more

The pasta and ribs from here are soooo good, makes it worth coming in. Although the dishes have been dirty a few times and besides the two items i mentioned above the menu is a hit or miss situation especially burgers and/or steaks since their medium well is never consistent, ive gotten it well done and medium. Servers have always been good to us while going there some are extremely charismatic and have a few good jokes up their sleeves. Lastly the manager was super in to his job! After going last night for dinner since traffic was horrible going out to Kapolei, this experience reminded us why we dont go to this Ruby Tuesday anymore. Not ever going to this place again The service we got at the beginning made it a bit more bearable but then towards the middle of dinner the server brought over a trainee and I felt bad that she had to witness the complaints from me but I do not feel bad at all with the shitty experience my husband and I had with the food and then the bill took forever to come back with my card. The service was what earned the 1 star or there wouldnt be any stars. Food: It started off with them giving me the wrong raspberry tea. I wanted the fresh made one which you have to specifically ask for or they give you the fountain one but I just drank the fountain one since I didnt want to start the night off that way. But it got worst... We ordered the Buffalo fries from the happy hour. They came out drenched and coated in so much buffalo seasoning that it was not edible and this is the husbands fave appetizer from Ruby Tuesday and even he said it was way too much. The husband and I used up all the blue cheese after 1 fry. We sent it back asking for moderate seasoning. When it came back, there was no seasoning at all (picture). We got the Triple meat with fries dish which had the Ribs, Shrimp and Chicken Tenders. The only thing they didnt mess up on the plate was the fries. The ribs were so dry and even chewy because it probably was sitting out. The shrimp was cooked in old oil since it was so dark on the plate and the tenders were so tiny even Mcdonalds ones were bigger. We forced ourselves to eat it and just left after waiting for the bill and we were still hungry. And now both Husband and I is feeling sick at work. This location use to be decent a few years ago but after this 2nd time of this year coming to this place, I would not recommend this location at all or they need to get new cooks that know how to work the kitchen. I asked the gentleman if he could please take this back and give me another hot soup bc it was more than just room temp cold. He brought back out in a min and said here. it was still room temp. This is a very mixed review. My husband said the breakfast pork chop was the worst pork chop he ever ate and his eggs were not good either. To clarify he's not a big fan of sage and the gravy tasted heavily of sage. My sons chicken strips and fries were eaten in their entirety and were good he said. My daughter had the fried rice and eggs and did not care for it. I had a baked potato which was loaded well and pretty good albeit a little under cooked. I forgave them since I ordered a potato at 11:00 AM. The cheese sticks were delicious. The tomato soup was not hot and had cheddar cheese in it which I found odd. Also the toast side only had one slice which may have been because of the bread shortage. The kids liked their pancakes eggs and bacon. That was after waiting 15 minutes, waited 10 more, was seated, and took another 10 minutes to receive utensils. Air conditioning is always blowing to the freezing point... I'm a loco moco junkie. I'm also a chicken Katsu fanatic. So when the two get out together, I'm all ears. That's what I had here at Ruby Tuesday. I was intrigued when both the waiter and server commented "Great Choice." When it arrived, I was very excited. And I was not disappointed. Despite being smothered in a pretty flavorful gravy and eggs, the Katsu maintained its crunchy outer texture. My one knock was that they were a bit stingy with the gravy. Which made me sad, because at the end I was left with rice w/o gravy soaked into it. Still, if you're looking for a good lunch/dinner, I definitely recommend this dish. read more

Came here on a Saturday for lunch at around 2pm so it wasn't as crowded as it would usually be. This restaurant is at a great location in Moanalua shopping center right by Baskin Robbins. I haven't been to this location in a while, but it's just as nice as I remember it. The place is clean and the staff is great. I always try to order something different, but I somehow keep ordering the parmesan shrimp pasta. Its really good and one of the only places I like to eat pasta ( I'm a very picky eater). My dad really enjoys the salad bar so it was perfect that they're having a special that if you order pasta you get the salad bar for free. It might be just for the month for October but I'm not sure. I recently heard that they're serving breakfast food now. I hope they're still doing it so I can check it out! read more

Excellent food AND excellent service. I'm very glad this restaurant is still open during COVID. The employees were kind and were very aware of staying safe. When you fist enter they will take your temperature and escort you to their table. They have a contactless menu where you scan a code with your phone.
