Recommend the chicken 65 biryani . Very surprised by all the negative reviews. The food is very tasty

They are good for take outs. Not sure how good dine in services are. Had ordered Chicken 65 biryani and Goat biryani. Chicken 65 biryani was really flavorful and tasy. Absolute worst place ever. Their breakfast buffet is the worst ever. Not many choices, bad quality food and my eyes were burning all the time I was in there. There was that much smoke inside from kitchen. I took my 4 year old and they charge full price for buffet. He barely ate anything. Oh well. Lesson learned. I had a very bad experience with Ruchi Bellevue. I did a catering order for the party event. When I gave the order, the reception manager wrote everything in the handy notebook. When I went to pick up the order, 2 main items were missing. I checked with him regarding missing items, I was told that I didn't mention missing items in the order. I asked him to show me the order, he showed me another accounting book where they enter all the catering orders for each day and I don't see my full order list. He intentionally skipped some of the items and he charged me the full price. I never go to this restaurant after that and this was my first and last. read more

I'm a regular at this place for takeouts. It's a self service restaurant and mostly for takeouts. Staff is courteous. Biryanis (both veg and non-veg) are amazing, and spicy too according to Indian standards. Portions are huge - could even serve 2 people. Salan (side curry) is not great; curd raita is okay. Worst people management at the counter and bad food.. Ordered veg biryani to go.... When checked after waiting for 20 min, only then they say biryani is not available and can only give pulao..after waiting for another 15 min and repeated asking they give pulao... The chicken 65 biryani was always mediocre, just throwing that chicken on top of rice. Rest of the foods left you longing for more, mostly wanted by people who wanted quick food or who weren't cooking. But one thing I liked was the fact the "chicken 65" family biryani pack was for $20 with cash. Now it's $26 dollars straight up! I went there for to go and buffet. The biriyani was good but the buffet was awesome. I was so pleased with their food that I had them cater one of my party. Everybody liked the food too. I am happy that in bothell we have Indian options other than mayuri. read more

Came to Seattle from Texas like a week ago and here we ended up looking for an Indian food, Probably one of the worst place, ordered sambar and chicken dum biriyani. They have one of the worst tasting sambar in the world I would say, it was jus watery and if it's a to go order u ll end up finding more vegetables than actual sambar. And chicken dum biriyani wasn't even a biriyani at all. They would put a chicken tikka gravy on top a yellow basmati rice and claim it as a biriyani.and the person took the order by mistake and when I asked he put the blame on us. Well then what else can u expect in an "Indian" restaurant!!! He was so rude. We ended up throwing it in a garbage at the end of the day. And yes we did try the one which is at Bothell, food is so much better and and welcoming ppl. When u try Bothell and here you would know the difference yourself. Three words. "Dont go there. " save your money & life, and enjoy food elsewhere dont injure yourself in trying to get so called authentic Indian food. Service and courtesy is awful. . One of the worst Indian joint(this is not really a restaurant) .. hard to believe how they got their license to operate a restaurant. I eat out a lot and this is one of the worst place to eat. They started out well but within 4 months now they have really gone crazy. They have increased price, gone down on quality and sometimes it is horrendous. Biriyani mutton looks stale . not to mention about the quantity at times ... once it was filled with small bone pieces(if you don't notice it then may injure yourself while eating ..bone chunks are difficult to see) . Recently we ordered couple of stuff and the chicken item that we ordered hardly had 4-5 small pieces of chicken for a large size to-go stuff . Previously the same item used to come with at-least 10-12 pieces. They even don't know how to make Naan. Their cooking is very unpredictable some times its ok and sometimes you dont know what you are eating. Service and courtesy is awful. I think they want to earn quickly in an easy way and then get rich soon... they are going to fail soon if they don't correct themselves pretty soon. read more

I used to like this place a lot and the food is good but we went there the other day and they made us wait forever for our naan. I mean I'm cool with waiting but don't say "10 minutes" when you really mean 30. And there wasn't even anyone before us. We were in a rush so we had to leave and the naan wasn't completely done yet. And the curry was kind of cold. And they didn't top off the ice machine. This review is for their Bothell location. I crave for their chicken 65 biryani and I would take the trip to bellevue which is 30 minutes from where I stay. So glad they opened in Bothell! Yay for that.Had gone today with my parents and my child. They have buffet in this location which is reasonably priced. The spread was really good and consisted some of my favorite dishes like Bindhi Pakoda, Corn Kabab and Pineapple Sheera. They went out of Naans and replaced it with chapatis. They were soft and nice. I enjoyed it since chapatis have a rare appearance in Indian Buffets. Keep it up. read more

I was searching for spicy biryani throughout bellevue and the biryani everywhere was not that spicy. Picked chicken biryani to go and the biryani was good, the quantity really great. They also provide raita and mirchi ka Salman which is another bonus! Will definitely try chicken 65 biryani too some day! read more

WORST VERY BAD experience over more than one interaction. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL 1. Friends of our got food catered from them for their kids birthday party. The Mutton curry was burnt and was complete disaster. 2. Ordered food over phone and was given a timeline of 15 minutes for pick up. We reached there half hour later. Food was not ready and we were asked for wait for "just 10 minutes". I waited patiently and after 15 minutes when nothing came up, my wife went in again and was asked to wait for 10 more minutes. Cons: No proper atmosphere to sit and eat, typically attitude feeling that people will come back just for their biryani no matter of their worst services both on telephone or in store, pathetic wait time order during breakfast and get it by lunch, they come up with all excuses whenever we ask reasons for delay. Amazing people and excellent food. I tried their food Sunday since I was not satisfied with the recently opened up Chaat House in Bothell and these people are phenomenal. The owners are warm, friendly and so caring. I got dosas on Sunday for my kids and they went out of their way to take care of my kids, They gave complimentary mango lassi and they even brought me the andra style eggplant from their buffer when I was asking about their Andra specialties . They truly care about their customers and they are hard working people. I went again yesterday for my wedding anniversary and I had called earlier to find out if they could make me savory pongal. They dont offer it on the menu and they made it and they made it perfectly. I really liked Sahadiya, she is one the employees there and they have a fantastic server who is from Assam, very nice people, I would recommend it to anyone wanting authentic south indian food. They deserve a 1 star but I give them an extra star just for their Chicken 65 biryani. There was something 'fishy' about this place as I walked in for the first time. The procedures for ordering and serving (in paper plates, self-help) were so atypical of an Indian restaurant. Hardly 4-5 items available .The Chicken 65 biryani I ordered was just YUCK. I still forced myself to many spoons since I am against wastage of food. I should have just discarded the food maybe, It would have saved me a night-long stomach cramps and diarrhea. If you care for your health, please DO NOT eat here. read more

This review is not about this restaurant's food but about their customer service and honesty. I ordered their goat biryani (family size) versus the individual size over the phone. When I arrived to pick it up, I changed my mind and asked them to change the order to individual. The owner seem reluctant to entertain my request as they had already packed it. I insisted that I have changed my mind and as a customer I have the right to change it. The owner said OK and asked for my card. At this point I had the feeling that he is going to charge for family size instead of the individual size ($26 vs.$11). And that's exactly what he did. He charged $26.xx on my card. When I inquired, he showed ignorance and played dumb. When I asked him to charge the right amount he said I will have to wait for that. There were other customers watching this over my shoulder. Instead of waiting, I asked him to give me the biryani and paid what he swiped it for, HOWEVER, I told him that I will leave a review accordingly. I don't intend to eat that biryani from a restaurant I don't trust and that is going into trash. Why I changed my mind to get a smaller serving size for the first place? When I arrived at the restaurant, the environment of the restaurant and smell inside made me think that I should try a small quantity before ordering more as I had my doubts about the taste looking at what other people were eating. read more

I request everyone to just remain away from this restaurant. Let me explain the incident happened with me. I ordered for food takeaway parcel (2 chicken-65 biryanis and 1 veg-65 biryani) yesterday @ 10:00 PM. When we opened the food (@12:00 in the night) we got only 1 chicken-65 instead of 2. Today when I went to the restaurant and spoke about the mistake they have done then instead of accepting it politely they were just arguing that why I didn't call them last night itself. He said that they remain open till 12 midnight (not sure how as their opening hours is from 11 AM to 11 PM) and I should have called them @ 12 midnight. Also, he said that now he can't do anything and asked me to come after 2 days then only they will look into this matter. He was behaving as if I have done something wrong. I really feel humiliated. I will never refer anyone to go to this place. The management doesn't even know how to talk to their customers. However, looks like this is how they do their business to earn profits. read more
