They took the time to listen carefully, made sure to understand all of our restrictions, and were very reassuring about how the food would be prepared. It made us feel completely comfortable and able to actually enjoy the experience without worrying. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with dietary restrictions. As we were leaving, the fire pit was lit up! Definitely would sit outside and enjoy the patio next time, because it looks gorgeous out there.

So I had negative feelings walking into this location in Southington on West Street Walking in, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately, at a table in front of the kitchen, where we could watch the action going on At the check-in station, the hostess immediately asked us if we had any allergies to foods, which kind of was weird. It's almost like the place was woke. So cruising the menu, I ordered the 110 Cuban sandwich$16.00. My friend ordered the cheeseburger, 17. +. Each of the sandwiches came with an order of french fries, or a choice of any other sides. I think there was maybe three or four other ones. Quickly the the lunch has arrived. I noticed that my friend's cheeseburger was well done and on the small side, just a little bit bigger than a slider. My 110 Cuban sandwich consisted of pulled pork, which was more barbecued and smoky than Cuban, and ham, which I couldn't taste, and a very overpowering cheese. I couldn't taste the pickle either. This was all served on a smaller sized what looked like Texas toast. The french fries were a very small order, and for a side it was disappointing. For the money paid for the sandwich and a side they could've upped the quantity of the french fries Both lunches were disappointing I'm gonna give this place three stars because the service was really nice. Our server was so attentive, especially with filling the water glasses, and asking if we needed anything else. So, with all this said, this place, reminds me of a cross between a Friendly's where you can view the open kitchen, and a sports bar. I'm not feeling this place to frequent after work for cocktails. There aren't enough televisions. I only saw one. The bar did look interesting though. The restaurant itself was comfortable, I liked the high tables and seating. The food is chain style and it just doesn't taste fresh. I was completely turned off with the way. My friends cheeseburger looked, all overcooked and stuff when she asked for medium rare, I don't think that was an option. I think they just cooked it full-blown well done I saw that there were some other dinner menu items priced from $25 to a little bit over $40. I would pass on these as this wouldn't be the place I would drop $100 for dinner on with a date or otherwise. I don't think I would even want this to be a business men's lunch. With so many other choices for local restaurants, I can see why a lot of these franchises are closing. This place is also on the pricy side.

The Sunny Side dish pictured usually comes with hollandaise sauce but I don't care for it so requested it not be added. My husband had a Meat Lover's omelette but started eating before I could snap a picture. He said it was very good. My daughter had the Californian subbing crispy tots for the sweet potatoes. One of her favorite dishes here. Love this place and will definitely return!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed to learn from the hostess/manager that only service animals are allowed, even in the outdoor seating area. What was most frustrating was that this policy was not clearly advertised on the website. Had we known ahead of time, we would have planned accordingly and avoided the disappointment. The staff member was friendly, and we ultimately placed our order to go, but the experience left us questioning whether we would return. We understand and respect a restaurant's policies regarding animals, but we feel those policies should be clearly communicated online so co customers know before arriving. Hopefully, Ellis Farmhouse will update its website to make this policy clear for future guests. SEE PHOTO

Extra points for zero beef bouillon vibes, which is rarer than it should be. The fresh campanelle pasta was a great choice, but the dishes could have used a bit more sauce. As the meal went on, the pasta started to feel dry and a little lackluster. Chicken was cooked perfectly across the board, though the chicken breasts were very thick. Think hearty slabs, not thin Italian cutlets. Great panko crust, just a lot to get through if you are a thin cutlet lover like me.

"I found that I've become the owner Of a brand new book"…read more(Graham Parker) We sure do love our Italian delis and a brand new one we visited today is excellent. And that's no surprise because the Noto Americano Market is a spinoff of a restaurant, namely Plantsville's Noto Americano Sicilian Kitchen. The Market has pretty much everything you need for a great meal -a big imported grocery section, prepared salads and entrees, packaged deli, a salad bar, frozen food (including big chunks of octopus), frozen sauces and soups, deli and sandwich service, cookies, pastries, and cakes, pizza, fresh eggplant and chicken cutlets, and a nice dining section to sit and mangia. We found the customer service to be excellent, and the young gent that took our order was super friendly. We went home with a Gargantuan slice of cheese pizza as big as two normal slices for $5, a big chocolate cookie ($1.50), and a frozen package of cheese ravioli ($5.99 for 12 pieces). I thought the pricing was very reasonable. We just split that big slice of pizza for dinner and enjoyed it -thin crust, plenty of cheese, plenty of sauce and overall excellence across the board. No doubt we'll sample one of their grinders next time, and you can rest assure there will be a next time. I've already got my mind set on a Pisano, with Spicy Soppressata, Mortadella, Stracciatella cheese, arugula, Tomato, and a Pistachio Pesto Sauce. Doesn't that sound amazing?

She is very passionate about the menu and is very attentive to everyone. Thankfully, as our food was served she was there to explain that the best way to experience the chef's creation is to eat it as it presented (without soy sauce) first. She went on to explain that each dish is created with specific textures and flavors in mind to create an intentional balanced bite. She is absolutely correct and I am so glad we listened. In fact, after trying the "second" bite with soy sauce, we recognized that it was much better without it. The soy sauce is homemade and delicious but the sushi is so perfectly executed, it really does not need anything at all to shine. This is not your average sushi joint. The food and service will blow you away. Get the Princess Peach Roll if it's available. The Tiger Roll and the Flame Touch were also fantastic. Hint: the tiger roll comes with lemon slices on top - do not remove the lemon. Trust me.
