The staff is really nice and the ambience is amazing. For such as small shop they really did a lot with the place and added some character. The tables are always clean which is something that is super important to me. I often come here to catch up with friends during our breaks from college and sometimes we spend hours here. Be warned: the large iced coffee is HUGE lol. The baked food are surprisingly good. The hot drinks are great as well (but I am an iced coffee drinker year round so I rarely get anything else). read more

I'm posting my review based on my experience a few months ago. My fiancé and I stopped into get coffee after an hour out and about doing essential shopping. At the time this establishment had a tree by the register that said something like "first responders take a free cup of coffee on us". So, basically people would donate money to "buy" a first responder a coffee. So I told my fiancé who is a first responder (an NYPD police officer). Why don't you pick one off this "tree" that's what it's there for. Well, he did. So after our brews were done my fiancé asked if he may use one of the "free coffee ornaments". The man who was working asked what his job was, my fiancé told him along with respectfully showing his work identification and was then informed it's not for police. Only for medical workers. Clearly that's not what the intent of this tree was, the tree CLEARLY said first responders. I was shocked. As a local I would of continued to frequent here. But haven't been there since. read more

This is an incredible coffee place! They have really unique, delicious coffees and a very inviting atmosphere. They also have a nice selection of teas to choose from and some small bakery snacks. The owner is so sweet and knowledgable about coffee. I go here with my boyfriend almost every time that I am in Western Connecticut. Being at Mima's (my last review), my boss and I opted to walk next door to Rumors, which I oddly enough didn't know was there for such a big coffee fan I am. The interior was surprisingly nice for how small the cafe actually was. Lots of coffee choices along with a case of pastries that looked absolutely delicious, it's too bad I wasn't hungry. My boss ordered an espresso while I ended up with a small mocha iced coffee that was supposed to be black, but ended up with cream and sugar. I usually can't do cream in my coffee since it upsets my stomach time and time again, but I figured since the barista took his time with my coffee, I'd cut him some slack. Regardless of the cream and sugar, it still came out pretty fantastic. Now that I know this place in on Mill Plain Road, I have a coffee outlet to stop by when I'm in the area. Average experience. place was clean but cookies/cakes in display counter looked a bit old. After seeing the pictures and reading the reviews, I expected a bit more. Small space, not a lot of room to sit and we ended up standing to drink our coffees. Not sure WHERE they get their beans but they are average. Nothing spectacular. This shop is a small little spot in a small complex but worth the stop. Instead of going to a bigger chain. I decided to support a local business and I was not disappointed. The cappuccino was great. It was nice and hot and the flavor was perfect. The homemade granola was good as well and the owner offered to warm it up in the oven for me. Service is good and free wifi helped to get work done. I knew as soon as I walked in, this place was gonna disappoint me. But I had to use my Groupon before it expired the next day. It was 7:45pm and when I walked in, the lady behind the register gave me a look that was not pleasing. As if I ruined her night. I let it slide. She was not helpful. I ordered 2 drinks just to get it to total the Groupon amount. The drinks were nasty. The mango smoothie was way over priced. $9 for a large and it was disgusting. I tossed it out immediately. The frozen hot Chocolate, which she raved about was nasty as well. And my kid loves chocolate. So, we will not be back. read more

The Cafe is a cute place to grab a coffee and a muffin but they seem to keep whatever hours they want so you need to call to make sure they are open even thought the FB page or Yelp will say its open. I'll spend my money on a more reliable establishment, twice in the last 6 weeks have gone on a Sunday morning around 8:30 and the place is dark but the sign says open. Poor business model read more

Cute cafe! It's a bit small inside, but a good place to catch up with a friend or two over coffee. Cozy armchair, sofa, and a few tables. I don't think the coffee drinks are any better or worse than what you can make at home if you have a real espresso machine and good beans. The employees here are always genuinely friendly, not just running through a script given to them by management. The coffee is consistently good and the couple muffin / bread items I've indulged in have been great. And it's in an area lacking in non-franchise options for such things. Having recently moved here from NYC, I've been craving a place like this and it's definitely the best in the area, and more exploration of Danbury may prove it to be the best in the city. So excited to find this amazing little cafe! My family came up from Miami for Labor Day weekend and while waiting for the rest of the family to wake up my mom and I had the most fantastic lattes and pastries. The cafe is a very relaxing place to sit and chat. There is also outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
