Really good local Italian spot. We have only had the Italian pasta dishes a few times, and love the picatta. The tapas is where it's at! The shrimp and zucchini risotto is to die for!! The fresh baked bread with green onion olive oil and vinegar is very special as well. Wow! Calamari is consistently good and the flatbread pizzas have plenty of creamy mozzarella. Great service at the bar from Kayla, she is fantastic! It would be 5 stars if they served tapas on the weekends in the restaurant and not just the bar. The one small complaint would be the beer has too much head. I want it full to the top. :) Highly recommend, give it a try! read more

A few years back this was a great place, last 2 times going service was absolutely horrible. Was seated for over 30 minutes right in front and servers past us up multiple times, never even got waters. Finally after 45 min still no acknowledgment told the hostess about the situation and she looked clueless. Next time went, plenty of tables open and said over an hour wait, only one other couple there, no explanation just made us all wait, we all left. Went here for lunch on Friday with my wife and sister in law, and we all had great tasting food. My wife had the Chicken Carciofi, which was sautéed chicken breast in artichoke white wine sauce, with a side of seasonal veggies. She said it was delicious. I had Penne Arrabiata, which was penne pasta served with a spicy creamy tomato sauce topped with Romano cheese. You can order it with regular, medium or spicy hot tomato sauce. I opted for the hot and was pleasantly surprised that it was sooo tasty, but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy the flavor. Came with my boyfriend and kids around 5pm Friday night (tonight). Oh my gosh our server was the best server I/we have ever experienced. Even the kids were in awe of him and his service! I wish I could remember his name ugh. Maybe started with an R? Anyway, he was just next level and food was great. Italian? Check! Delicious? Check? Family owned and operated? Check! Those three things are tough to beat. Rustic o has been around a while and after some repairs earlier in the year they back baby! The pizza is solid. Real deal pizza, not the chain stuff you get from the national guys. The garlic breadsticks are fantastic! I honestly haven't been in a little while due to COVID shutdowns and all that but they used the have this chicken dish with capers. O.M.G. I could eat several platefuls of the chicken. Rustico has become one of my go-to restaurants when I am craving that modern and authentic taste of Italian cuisine! The velvety sauce with the gnocchi had my tastebuds dancing, it was followed by the chicken masala which was one of the best dishes I've tasted since travelling America. I have enjoyed the tiramisu each time I dine in and I'm never disappointed. The Rustico team are polite and attentive, they don't hover or try and boot you out once you're winding down post meal, lol! Overall the ambience is pretty good, pricing is average to high although when paired with the quality and quantity of food it balances out any reason to say no to dining in. read more

Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy about 1/2 of the food to the point some of it ended up the trash. Lasagna had a creamy sauce and perhaps that is our fault for not reading the menu better, but my daughter didn't like it at all so it went to waste. Potstickers were very buttery and ended up in the trash. Bread had to go in the oven then it was good. The rest of the food was decent. Service by Miguel was the absolute best. Never had a server like him in 20 yrs. He know his wines, knows the menu, and by far is the friendliest server anywhere. The food was de Lish ious !! 1st time experience, this cute little place has a nice variety of healthy options, including vegan and gluten-free. The complimentary freshly baked bread with vinaigrette & olive oil was very good. This is my first time going to Rustico since it's be reopened. My family and I used to love eating there but unfortunately, the quality/taste of the food did not meet my expectations compared to what I've had in the past. I ordered several items to go such as the chicken Alfredo, spaghetti, salad, and extra bread. The bread and Alfredo sauce used to be amazing before but now it's lacking. The chicken was a bit tough and dry. My husband ordered a Mediterranean salad and it was overpriced for what was received. Lettuce is cheap. Why not fill the to go container? I'm saddened because I was looking forward to the meal so much but after this experience, I won't be coming back. read more

Then I ordered penne pesto and she ordered the lasagna as recommended by our waitress, my pesto was excellent, however her lasagna was way to salty. Amazing lunch service! Perfect ambiance and decor. Very spacious dining room. Our server was so attentive and patient as we couldn't decide on what to try. She gave us some tasty suggestions. Great recommendations and enjoyed a wonderful lunch here earlier this week. Crowd picked up shortly after we arrived, but we received our items pretty quickly. Served the house bread with olive oil and balsamic almost immediately. I can understand why it's such a crowd favorite. Perfect buttery crispness on the outside and so pillowy soft inside. Tried the Italian version of the quesadilla appetizer and a seafood risotto (from their dinner menu) While it's not an exact Italian I've grown accustomed to, their dishes are still full of great Italian flare,texture and flavors. We shared each dish between two of us and still had some to take home. Generous portions. I definitely recommend it here. My family would enjoy visiting. Fresh bread was amazing. I ordered the salmon with vegetables, it does not come with a salad. The salmon was delicious. I'm always scared to order salmon because you never know if it's gonna have that fishy taste. The vegetables were okay... nothing special. Tried calling and the manager gave us a "you get what you get" attitude, nor offered any apology or acknowledgement that they need to update their online menu.
