My girlfriends and I visited this cozy spot during the weekend for brunch. It's an order through the counter and find yourself a table type of place. The counter crew was super friendly and efficient. Bakery goods was amazing too. The only issue I had was the excessive onions on my breakfast plate lol. Cortado was great also! Will be back soon for sure!

I like this little restaurant. Very nice and quaint. I like that I can come here, have a nice lunch and also get some computer work done. The Bakery part looks incredible and smells delicious. Did not get any cookies this time. My lunch was Egg salad sandwich. Good but not much of a taste to it. I added more salt and pepper. Did not like the cold tortilla chips at all. Next time, I'll buy regular chips. All in all, sweet little place.

According to the menu on their website, they have dozens of gluten-free items, but when I visited, they only had one item (which by the way was not marked gluten-free in the glass case.) I was told that they used to have one other gluten-free baked item, but they do not make it anymore. The employee did tell me that gluten-free cakes could be ordered. The gluten-free item I bought is called Chocolate Silk. I was told that there was cake underneath, but it appears to be a very dense, wet/moist almond flour concoction. Not sure what to make of it as I have never eaten anything similar, but my opinion is that it was not tasty. The squiggly designs on top were pretty and soft, but did not taste like they were made of the finest ingredients. That said, the bottom is not very sweet, but the top squiggly cream is sweet, which complements the bottom and makes for a not overly sweet treat, which is difficult to find. If someone trying to avoid wheat and considering purchasing this "Chocolate Silk", I would double check with the employees to make sure that it is gluten-free as I did not feel well after eating two small bites.

A different but yummy chicken salad on a bed of spring mix, fruit and tomatoes.

The pastries and cakes are to die for. Special of the day tea. Passion fruit Mango...soo good. Empanadas with chicken or fruit. A wide variety of breakfast...the Cakes are delicious. The prices are reasonable. Chicken salad was different but yummy. Quesadillas are big with a very flavorable salsa. Coming back another day for breakfast.

My friends and I had Sunday breakfast here. Everything we had was excellent. I'm had the French toast sandwich with eggs, bacon and cheese and a side of hash brown. I could only finish half of it and took the rest home. So good. My friends had the crepes, pancake, and cowboy hash brown.

Bare tacos and invisible side salad

Regarding the food... I ordered the chicken fajita tacos that are supposed to come with a side salad. When I got my food, not were they "out of spring mix" but they were also out of lettuce, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. The most bare and sad tacos I've ever seen in my life. They just seemed to be out of everything; tried ordering the orchards berry smoothie and they were apparently out of blueberries too. Poor service. Woman who took our order tried telling me that the tacos did not come with a salad when it clearly says so on the menu (still did not get the salad). She seemed aggravated that we were there. Also, our order total was no more than $34, and we made sure to leave no tip (which we normally don't do). After we were charged, I checked my balance and I had been charged $41 -- the difference being exactly 20% of my total. I don't want to say she gave herself a 20% tip, but she could not seem to provide an adequate explanation for the $7 difference. Would not come here again.

Fantastic experience and the food was so delicious. I highly recommend this place. Cappuccino was incredibly prepared and coffee was bold. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this local business.

The chicken avocado quesadilla special and Rustika combo with upgrades

Such a cute ambiance. Food, service, and cost were great. The cakes and desserts look amazing as well. We got a cheesecake to go.

I ordered a cake for my daughter's 16th birthday from a picture of a cake on their website. The cake we received was absolutely gorgeous! The cake was massive, and beautifully decorated, not to mention, delicious!! The price was extremely reasonable for what we received. I highly recommend Rustika when it comes to their cakes! They also had great communication from the time I ordered to the time I picked it up.

This little cafe is quite hidden! Its a gem. The service is amazing and the food was fantastic. The ambiance is small and inviting. I was given a free piece of cake for my birthday and the food was enough to share!

They had a lot of daily specials to choose from. We both ordered from the brunch menu. I ordered The Alamo. I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.

Best Bites takes you to Seabrook!…read more Today, while visiting my grandson, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Athena's Corner Greek Restaurant in Seabrook, and it was absolutely delicious! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm Mediterranean charm. The restaurant is beautiful, inviting, and filled with Greek-inspired décor. You can choose to dine inside or relax on their lovely outdoor patio. Our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. She made us feel right at home! We kicked off our meal with a couple of appetizers, and they were every bit as impressive as they were delicious. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and served with warm, fluffy pita bread. We also enjoyed the falafels--perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and even better dipped in their spicy feta spread! For my entrée, I chose the Lunch Special featuring a savory spinach pie, served with a fresh Greek salad and a cup of their famous Avgolemono (Greek lemon soup) . It was light, comforting, and packed with flavor. My grandson ordered the Chickpea Salad , a dish he loved so much on a previous visit that he couldn't resist ordering it again. That's always a good sign! My husband selected the Stuffed Shrimp Special . The plate was absolutely beautiful--jumbo baked shrimp stuffed with a savory crab dressing, served over a bed of mushroom orzo. It tasted every bit as incredible as it looked! If you're ever in Seabrook, Texas, and you're craving something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, I highly recommend Athena's Corner Greek Restaurant. You'll enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, outstanding hospitality, and food that's made with care and bursting with authentic flavor. Best Bites Approved! Have you been to Athena's Corner? Food - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5…read moreAmbiance - 3.5/5 I had only heard mixed reviews regarding this place going in, so I figured my experience was going to be the same, but it was an overall very positive one. The ambiance was nice as we walked in, and after being quickly seated next to a window, the atmosphere was nice. They did end up covering the window before we started eating, and the little bulb way above us and candle did not really provide light enough for us to eat (I get it is mood lighting, but I like seeing what I eat). The food was really solid, though. A few times I've been in the past it was all too salty, but this time around it was much better. I got the Farm Bird, and it was very juicy and had a very nice crunch. The Fish and Chips were nice and flaky, while the Pork Chop was extremely juicy and rich. The shrimp in the rigatoni was definitely oversalted, as well as the broccolini greens in the pork chop dish. The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.
