Cheese pizza and a pepperoni slice
    James E.

This place definitely has great pies. And love how old school the place looks with the wood oven. Never been in the front of the restaurant. We always get slices on the side of it. We ordered slices and took a seat outside. They don't have much seating, just two tables. And then brought out our slices out to us. Delicious. If you're in Jersey city definitely stop by.

Doms eating the whole vodka pie for himself!

Still consistently great food!! Calamari is light and crispy, and the vodka pie is fresh, crisp, and flavorful! Love it here. Real food without the gimmicks of other places.

I appreciate a classic pizza joint and apparently it's family run and old school which is the vibe you get when entering. I am a Neapolitan style guy and they do not promote it being a Neapolitan style spot however the three things that I seek to gauge quality is the dough, the cheese, and the sauce. This place has a nice sauce, borderline sweet and you can tell it's made with love. The cheese was pleasant but it was smothered in sauce, an odd rendition of Margherita but it was pretty good. The thing that killed it for me was the dough. The crust is that unpleasant middle ground between thin crust and not quite NY slice thickness so it's not even worth eating. Thin crust can just be blended into a slice while a thick crust or Neapolitan can be enjoyed separately because its got body and you can savor the flavor. It's really disappointing because the photos on line do look enticing and SOMETIMES even if crust has this girth, it still is backed with some fluff or unique flavor but this just fell short. I'm giving it 3/5 merely because of the quality homemade sauce and faint flavor of quality cheese.

This pizza joint is doing it right. They use the backward technique by putting the sliced mozzarella on the dough then add the sauce and toppings. A very tasty style pizza that takes a little bit of time to make due to their busy location. Even though this is a very tasty pizza, it's not something that I can rave about. Nonetheless, it hits the spot with a clean tasty feel. Yes clean. Not heavy in oil or super doughy... this can be a nice cheat meal!

WOWWWW just wow! I ordered for pickup which was quick and easy. The staff was attentive which I loved considering there was a lot of people waiting for orders. They made sure each person was greeted and had an ETA on when their order would be out. 10/10 for customer service! I decided to order a cesar salad, a small "Kathy" pie and Mikes hot honey. The pizza was amazing, especially with the hot honey drizzled on top. the cesar salad is now one of my favorites! Not a lot of cesar salads have the shaved parm so I truly appreciate one that does. Everything about this place is a 10/10 to me. I can't wait to come back and order more menu items.

Tiny space. The food was great. Bread and fresh olive oil. Garlic bread with sauce. The service was impeccable. You can bring your own wine.

A little surprised with the mixed reviews because I love this place. I've only done take out twice but both times have been great. I can see why there are negative reviews on the service, as they aren't the most friendly people. However I would continue to come back here as I've personally had a good experience. Pizza- made fresh and they are often making it whenever I walk in, and baked in wood fire oven. Flavors are great and you can tell its an authentic pizza. The small pizza is perfect 12" personal size and definitely large enough for me to eat for a meal, I usually eat four of the small pizza slices and am full. I also had their salad which is okay, nothing to write home about but a good accompaniment to the pizza. Service - not the friendliest people and definitely very straightforward, no formalities and they are there just to give you your food, which I don't mind as I'm doing pick up and my orders have been accurate. They double checked with me too what food I ordered before I walked out. If you do pick up you go to the door on the side street. Haven't eaten in before but its BYOB and has a few seats on the inside.

This was my first time seeing one with roasted duck though. Just a heads up that the street felt a bit sketchy even though it's near the edge of Chinatown. We were unfortunately harassed by someone outside of the store and ended up giving him a few dollar bills... *Chinese Sausage Mala Wrap $10 ** The lap cheong was spread so evenly throughout that I got some in almost every bite. The mala aioli was quite spicy, but not overpowering or lingering. The crispy shallots added such a nice crunch too which I loved! *Duck Tsangwich $16 I was quite surprised that the roast duck skin stayed crispy! The crackly cookie topping could've been thicker since it was pretty flat. They give you chili oil on the side, but it was already super flavorful with the hoisin sauce. Only thing I wished for was more cucumber and scallion to help balance out the richness.

The fact it was in a common neighborhood made it even more enjoyable of a visit! Now to the sandwich..This sandwich itself DEFINITELY lives up to the hype! It really is the REAL DEAL!! Maybe they should change the name to "Da Bomb", because it's that's good! However, through no fault of anyone, this is the learning experience I take back for my next visit: 1) Extra lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot peppers. Potato Salad IF extra hot peppers! 2) Bring reusable containers for your sandwich, especially if you're not going home/ hotel right away.
