Clayton is a scammer. i payed him 2000.00 to start the installation of a water heater, he canceled for Saturday 02/14, I decided to not continue service with him. he disappeared and sent a check 3 weeks later 03/04 for only 1,189.00 saying 811.00 was 12% return fee plus 3 trips to the store. He's a scammer he never touched the water heater and didn't buy anything. He's a liar and an alcoholic. I do not recommend and I'll sue him. Be careful do not use his services. Clayton did an excellent job on the Tankless water heater installation. Clayton works really hard and goes out of his way to access anything that needs to be replaced at our 1978 home before we move in. Because most of the plumbing fixtures are originals. Clayton is a master Plumber, Electrician, and HVAC technician. He did such an awesome job, that I had him replace and install a new HVAC system at our new home in huntington beach. 5 Stars isn't enough - Rusty Pipes Plumbing is awesome! We had 5 other companies look at the problem in our shower before them and they all wanted to break into the wall requiring complete remodeling of the shower tile. They all charged for the consultation without doing any work. One company had 2 plumbers looking at the problem for over an hour and couldn't figure out how to do the repair without breaking into the wall tile. Rusty Pipes looked at the problem, let me know it couldn't be repaired with the procedure I thought would work but quietly continued working on the issue. 1 hour later he had a brand new pipe installed by increasing the hole in the tile enough to work on it and small enough that it could be covered with hardware he then went & picked up. If you need a professional plumber call Clayton "Rusty". I highly recommend him. He came out in the rain and replaced the flue on my hot water heater that is located outside in a small metal shed. The rain has been non stop here in Long Beach for a few days and I was having to relight the pilot after each heavy downpour. It had a faulty flue. I had another plumber out to try to fix it and he used tape. Which helped but it was still leaking in the rain. I have had on going plumbing issues with one of my bathrooms. Have tried numerous plumbers and all offered a solution which involved tearing into my slab. Rusty came out to unplug my bathroom once again and he immediately offered an option that was less evasive or costly. He did not try to sell me on the fix and offered to only unclog the sink. However he explained things in a way that made sense and it was time to fix the problem for good.
