Located across the street from the Kravis Center this is the perfect place to eat before (or after) seeing a show. The ambiance immediately sets the mood for a special experience. This location doesn't have the typical steakhouse decor. It's large, open, with modern decor and ample seating. We were made to feel welcome even though it was our first visit to this location. The staff was cordial, attentive and accommodating with tweaks to the menu. The service was exceptional. We told our server, Jessica, that we were going to a show and our food was ready (and delicious) in a timely manner. The manager even stopped by a several times to make sure that everything was up to our expectations. The food at Ruth's Chris never disappoints, cooked to perfection with shareable salads and sides and great attention to detail.

This place never disappoints! My wife and I came to see a show at the Kravis Center across the street. We met up with some friends and had a delicious steak dinner. My wife and I shared the porter house for two (medium rare). It was cooked to perfection! We got a few sides, mushrooms, Au gratin potatoes and mashed potatoes! We did tell the sever we had to catch a show and needed to be out fast. Service was great until the end, we waited for the bill after repeatedly requesting it. We were a little late for our show. Other than that food and the restaurant was amazing! Great ambiance! My friends had the cowboy ribeye and a Ruth chris classic.

Ruth's Chris in West Palm redeemed themselves this visit. We came in for a two birthdays and a couple managers (Michael and Alex) greeted our large party and they made sure everything went smoothly. Ashara was our waitress and she was on top of things. She never forgot about us and her and her team kept making sure we were totally satisfied. Our filets were cooked perfectly, our sides were fresh (the sweet potatoes were a hit), and desserts were delicious. They even made my fav apple crumb pie from scratch. Good job guys!

Great experience! This location is nicer than the others I have been to. Danny, our server was absolutely exceptional!!!! You should do everything you can to keep him here! The filet and lobster were great,as was the spinache and old fashioned.! Thank you for all you did to make our anniversary special!!

Enjoy my meal tonight. Had the 3 course for $55 and thought it was worth it. Have to have a steak if you go to this caliber restaurant and they delivered it just as ordered. The ambience is elegant but comfortable and the service is very professional.

A Birthday Experience Done Right! I celebrated my birthday at Ruth's Chris Steak House on 7/25, and everything from the moment we walked in felt intentional and special. The hostess greeted us with birthday wishes, and when we were seated, the table was beautifully decorated with festive confetti. Not only that--they had a personalized birthday card waiting for me. Those thoughtful touches alone set the tone for an elevated dining experience. We started with the calamari, and it was perfection--crispy, well-seasoned, and complimented by a squeeze of lemon that brought everything to life. For our entrees, my husband ordered the stuffed chicken breast, and I had the filet mignon butterfly-style topped with grilled shrimp. Both dishes arrived to the table sizzling, and yes--the sound alone could make you hungry again. The stuffed chicken was incredibly moist and full of flavor, easily one of the best versions of this dish we've ever tasted. My steak was beautifully prepared--tender, buttery, and paired perfectly with the grilled shrimp. The seasoning, texture, and presentation were all spot-on. We ordered sides to share, including the garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach--both were smooth, rich, and full of flavor. We selected the $55 per person meal deal, which included cheesecake for both of us. The cheesecake was creamy, smooth, and the perfect balance of sweet and rich. Then came the surprise: a complimentary bread pudding served with a candle and a handwritten chocolate Happy Birthday message. Not only did it look stunning, but the flavor matched the presentation--warm, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. The service throughout dinner was exceptional--attentive but not intrusive. The ambiance was intimate and elegant, making it feel like the perfect place for a celebration or special night out. From start to finish, Ruth's Chris made my birthday unforgettable. If you're considering this location for a special occasion--just go. The experience, the food, and the customer care make it worth every moment and every bite.

STEAK SANDWICH and an old fashioned

I went in with a friend after attending a show at the Kravis Center. I didn't realize how close the two are! We shared the steak sandwich and two drinks, and the price was very reasonable. We sat at the bar, which is very comfortable and the bartenders were so nice. I was also looking at the happy hour menu, which seems reasonable, and I will definitely be back.

Went to happy hour for a bite to eat. Friendly bartender and nice atmosphere. Had steak sandwich and fires. Very tender meat and a very good deal for the price. Will be back for happy hour again.

Dined at Ruth's Chris tonight after some years and had forgotten how beautiful and romantic the ambiance is. Truly a perfect spot for date night. We started with warm house bread, a crisp Caesar salad, and the seared Ahi Tuna -- absolutely delicious! For the main course, I had the Garlic-Crusted Sea Bass. While the crust was flavorful and perfectly done, the cut of sea bass itself was a bit too thick for my liking. The medium-rare 6oz steak paired with a lobster tail and a side of perfectly whipped mashed potatoes, however, was spot on. To end the evening, we treated ourselves to their mini cheesecake with fresh berries, the perfect sweet finish. Special thanks to Juan, our server, for being so attentive and courteous, and to Mohammed for making sure everything stayed topped up throughout the night.

I came here for a rep dinner from my job and WOW!! Service was incredible. We had a Caesar salad for the appetizer and I ordered the filet mignon medium rare for the main course. The meat MELTED in my mouth! So tender and amazingly cooked. It was unique that there was an option to get blue cheese crust atop the steak. I had never seen that elsewhere. The steamed broccoli tasted very healthy, not buttery or doused in sauce. Mashed potatoes were soft and creamy as well. The cheesecake was spectacular for dessert. 10/10 recommend!!!!!

Great attentive service - thank you Michael Lotero the manager. Juan our server and Quiland who made the best martini ever. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in West Palm.

I love when food is served piping hot- staff: wonderful always- friendly and attentive, ambiance that of a steakhouse- main dining area is light and roomy and bar is lively with tv's. I am a devoted fan of a special they offer called: Filet & Cabernet - a 6 oz. Filet topped with 3 Grilled Shrimp paired with a glass of Daou Cabernet starting at just $42.00! I have to indulge in this special at least 1x per month. They offer hot bread with butter pre-meal that is addictive so I try to have it AFTER my meal as a palate cleanser instead of another glass of wine. Ps- Pomegranate Martini on the rocks very good!

Is there really good blues rock music at this place?

No, they have no live entertainment that I know of and I've been going there for years.. it's fairly reserved and family friendly.

    Is there outside dining?

No- I didn't see any outside dining when I was there a couple of weeks ago.

Does Ruth's Chris have valet parking?

There is valet but it is not theirs and there is a charge. I think $8

Soooooo, how do you turn a failure into a winner???!!! My…read morewife and I went for dinner this past November. We were headed to the Kravitz so time was a premium. I made an early reservation and was seated immediately upon entering. Since we've been here many times,we knew what to expect. I ordered the NY strip, which was perfect, my wife ordered a simple burger...uh oh..... It came out pretty rare, almost raw. She ordered medium, which is pretty standard for restaurant burgers. She couldn't eat this, so we called the waitress, who was a doll, very apologetic but generally warm and professional. Well the burger came back disguised as a hockey puck. Again the waitress came right over and again apologized, my wife was fed up and didn't want another burger and really didn't want anything at this point. Although we didn't ask for a manager, she showed up with out being asked for. She immediately apologized and pleaded with my wife to order something, so my wife ordered a salad, which probtly came. Next, 2 desserts and coffee. Finally the manager comes over, hands my wife her business card an tells us, please give us another try and have dinner on me! Lastly, I ask for the check and was told, it was all comped! Not expected as my meal was great and I also had two cocktails. None the less, I tipped approximately based on the cost of our meals. Last week we stopped in as we were driving home from Port St Lucie and found to spots at the bar. My wife ordered a filet mignon, which she declared was one of the best she's had, I had the double cut pork chop. Both meals came out together, hot and nicely plated. We only asked for the manager our meal and only to thank her. We also complimented her staff and raved about the meal. Again, my drinks were comped which I don't know why but, hey someone buys you a drink, don't complain. Anyway a generous tip and two happy campers. And that's how you manage a restaurant and lead your staff. I apologize for any typos because of my large, masculine fingers

I'm genuinely puzzled by this restaurant's high rating--my experience was, quite frankly, abysmal…read more The space itself felt neglected: a musty odor lingered in the air, and the temperature was uncomfortably warm--borderline unbearable--making it difficult to relax from the moment we sat down. I decided to give this place a second chance on April 18, 2026, with an 8:30 PM reservation, and unfortunately, it was just as bad--if not worse--than my first visit. The service was exceptionally poor. Our waiter, Michael, set the tone early, and not in a good way. It took over an hour just to receive our appetizers, and drink refills required tracking down other staff members. What stood out most was the complete lack of attentiveness--Michael never once checked in on our table throughout the evening. The delay was so excessive that I was able to leave the restaurant, walk across the street, purchase a new set of clothes for my daughter, return, and have her change--all before our main course even arrived. To be clear, this wasn't out of convenience--it was out of necessity. The restaurant was so excessively hot that she was visibly uncomfortable and overheating. To make matters worse, water was served at room temperature in what felt like a furnace of a dining room. We actually had to ask multiple times--and essentially beg--just to get ice brought to the table. That alone speaks volumes about the level of awareness and care. Dining out is supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience--especially after an evening out--but this was anything but. The food itself was underwhelming at best: mediocre, forgettable, and certainly not worth the wait. What was most disappointing, however, was the apparent inconsistency in service. From my observation, certain tables--specifically white families--received noticeably more attention and care, while others, including Hispanic, Asian, and African-American patrons, were largely overlooked. As part of an interracial family, this was both disheartening and unacceptable to witness. I've had great experiences at other locations of this restaurant, which makes this visit even more frustrating. This location, however, falls far below standard. To the management and staff: you're in a high-traffic area where guests come to unwind and enjoy their time. This experience did the exact opposite. One star--and that's only because it was possible to secure a reservation. Now I understand why availability wasn't an issue. TL;DR: Excessive heat, inattentive service, long wait times, mediocre food, and a deeply disappointing overall experience. I will not be returning.

We sat outside for an early brunch with perfect weather... it set the tone for a beautiful, breezy morning! Food-wise, everything was solid across the board. Nothing that completely wowed me, but definitely good and enjoyable. I was especially excited for the smashed croissant avocado toast, but it fell a little short for me. Smashing the croissant kind of takes away what makes it so good in the first place... you lose that fluffy interior and crispy exterior, and it ended up a bit tough. The oysters and side of bacon were my favorites of the table, both super yummy and I'd absolutely order those again. The truffle fries and short rib benedict were also good, just didn't stand out in a big way. And of course, mimosas... no notes there. I was also charged for another person's drink without being asked or informed; which was unacceptable and felt careless. The staff seemed "blind" to how to properly run a restaurant. For the prices being charged, I expected much better food, service, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

I mean really impeccable. We dined outside and it was quiet and relaxed. Inside is more animated . We drive from Ft Lauderdale and it was worth every mile. I don't usually rave about restaurants. When we got there, the hostess sat us at a table in the middle of the restaurant and it was freezing that night so every time someone came in or left, we were hit with wind. I asked the hostess if we could move to a booth and she told us it was for reservations that requested...? But we requested one? It was a total turn off, first impression is everything and she didn't seem to care at all. Their espresso martinis are so perfect!! Do yourselves a favor and order that. We had the calamari which was pretty good, bf was a huge fan of the chicken parm and he got gnocchi with vodka sauce which was phenomenal. The cacio e Pepe was very mid, wish there was more sauce and the pasta was a little hard too. For dessert, we had the pistachio cake which was phenomenal. Next time need to try the espresso martini tiramisu! Santiago was great. Very personable but kept it professional! AJ was a delight, will definitely be back hopefully under better circumstances next time !

The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and everything just feels clean, modern, and well put together. We started with a fresh salad w mozzarella and salami. Then the pizza came out... and it completely exceeded expectations. We got two pies -- one gluten-free and one regular -- and both were outstanding. The gluten-free pizza was done perfectly (which is rare), with great texture and flavor -- didn't feel like you were missing out at all. But the real standout was the square white pizza with mushrooms and meatballs. That thing was unreal. Perfectly crispy edges, soft inside, rich cheese, and packed with flavor. Honestly, for Florida pizza, this was next level. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and actually care about execution. Service was great, everything came out smoothly, and the entire experience was top tier. Easy 10/10. Definitely a go-to spot -- will 100% be back.

All very delicious. Then we shared a square pizza (yes, squares taste better); half pepperoni and mushroom, and half pepperoni, red onion, olives and arugula. There were countless Mmmms and we ate every bite. The space is stunning and the service was terrific. Why more can you ask for?!
