Middle Grilled Street Corn: my second time getting this! Addicting. So yummy with the chips. Right 2 Fish Tacos 1 Shrimp: My 2nd time getting the fish tacos and it was just as good! Their link on open table and in Apple Maps showed them as open and allowed you to make reservations. When we got there, their lights were on but the door was locked. I tried calling their phone number but the only option was to leave a voicemail. My husband and I walked over to Rare Society and they told us it's been closed. Lucky for us they had bar seating available. The food at Rare Society was amazing by the way. The sad part was that while dining we watched others go up to Siempres door. Pretty crappy, way to go Siempre J.B. Also, I'm giving one star because I have to in order to create this post. They deserve no stars. At this current moment they still say open and are still taking reservations.

Tasty chips and guacamole arrived. Then all three appetizers arrived to the table at the same time, shrimp ceviche, octopus and the kampachi. Each dish was absolutely delicious! We probably would have ordered more, but since it was not coursed out and arrived at the same time we became full very quickly. Our server was an absolute delight and the water glasses were filled often, which makes us happy since it was 111° outside. He was very attentive. I can't wait to return to try other dishes.

We enjoyed margaritas and their smoked tequila old fashioned. The decor and ambiance is whimsical and fun, and they even have small chairs for the your purses which adds a fun and thoughtful touch! We enjoyed the pork tacos for the table and found it to be plenty of food for 3 and the potatoes were delicious as well. The only reason this was not a 5 star experience was the rudeness of the greeters. We walked up without a reservation at about 6:30 and asked to be seated and were told nothing was available until 9 even thought the website was showing many open reservations. We stepped to the side and made a reservation and we were then able to be sat around 7pm. The start of our interaction with the greeters initially turned us off from the restaurant, but thankfully the experience inside was much better.

A resounding YES was the reply when we asked if it was still happy hour (at 536pm). Happy Hour (Daily) is 3 PM - 6 PM with $7 fancy margaritas and snacks including ceviche, guac, queso, empanadas and chicken or carnitas street tacos. We were hungry and thirsty. She asked if we wanted to start with (thick warm) chips and salsa. YES, PLEASE! Wished the chips were saltier, but too lazy to ask for salt (which just causes water retention anyway). Salsa thin and almost smooth, with clear pieces of roasted red jalapeno pepper yes chipotle baby! Busy solo, our bartender eventually came around for our drink orders, and we both chose fancy margaritas. My Black (Berry) and Basil may have been the perfect cocktail ever. Sugar rimmer made sticky hands, but OMG I loved this sweet boozy concoction. Hubs ordered a Spicy Piña with pineapple and jalapeno slices. When he was about half done the bartender came around with extra and filled his glass again. Leftovers from the shaker, OH Yeah! While munching on the chips and salsa we decided on the chicken street tacos and the shrimp ceviche. The ceviche came in a small bowl with a huge pile of more chips. We probably could have eaten two orders of the shrimp part though! Rough chopped shrimp, peppers, onions tomatoes and a light broth were perfect on this hot day. The tacos were small on very soft fresh corn tortillas with a good portion of shredded chicken tinga. I was able to add the avocado that my husband removed from his ceviche and round out these tacos, which were only topped with cheese and sauce. Maybe some cabbage would be good here? These were just ok but I was hungry. Alas, the potent concoctions were enough that I only required one. I really wanted to get the spicy mango margarita too. Which will necessitate another visit to La Neta for happy hour again on our way back through town in a month!

I would say one of the best nice Mexican restaurants in Vegas. We started with some margaritas. Prices are $12 for an 8 ounce, or $24 for a 20oz. I opted for the 8 ounce and my hubs got the 20oz. To be honest, the 20oz sounds like a good deal, but it wasn't so much because it had more ice than liquid. We got the Tommy's Style and Fresca margaritas. The Tommy's Style tasted more like a house margarita and the Fresca includes strawberry and lime. To be honest, the Tommy's Style margarita tasted a lot better than the Fresca because the Fresca was a bit bland. We ordered their beef tartare and Prawn al Achiote to start. Both were amazing. The prawns were shareable between two people, and these were the biggest prawns I've ever had. It came with chimichurri sauce, which complemented well with the prawns, but the prawns were still buttery and juicy enough without the chimichurri. For our entrees, we got the duck Vampiros de Juliette and Pollo Asado. For the side, we got the Fire Roasted sweet corn with bone marrow and salsa matcha. The duck vampiros were amazing with the super tender and juicy duck carnitas on top of a tostada and cheese. The corn with bone marrow was amazing as well. The bone marrow was very tender and tasted great with the spicy salsa they put on top; however, there was more salsa than bone marrow, though the taste was still fantastic. What other Mexican restaurant could you find beef tartare, duck carnitas, and bone marrow? Fantastic food, and will definitely be back next time we're in this side of town!

We were seated right away in the bar area at our request. Our drink orders were taken and we were given a few minutes to decide on the food. They have Pepsi products. Wish it was Coca-Cola but oh well. We decided to have the queso fundido as the appetizer. It was chorizo mixed with cheese and it was delicious. Kind of difficult to scoop the cheese because of the cheese pull but that's just a minor inconvenience. I ordered the chile verde which came with rice and refried beans. The pork in the chile verde was amazing. It was tender and very flavorful. The rice was fluffy and tasty. The beans were ordinary but good. The service was was superb. Refills kept coming and our waitress kept a good eye on us. Very pleased with the service. The restroom was clean and stocked. If you walk around the restaurant, it's very vibrant. I liked the casual atmosphere and was quite happy that me and my friend could talk on a casual level. The service was nice and casual. Just the occasional check in. The food was very good. We kind of had a cheese pull war with the queso chorizo dip we ordered. This dish did get a bit salty as the cheese cooled and the chorizo took over. I had a tamal plate with a chili relleno and a taco. My tamal was as ordered with pork, and very good. My relleno had plenty of cheese filling. The crunchy beef taco suffered a bit from all of the other offerings on the plate being a bit juicy and kind of taking away from the crunchy bite of the taco. Overall I will say again I enjoyed myself and was glad to introduce my friend to a new spot. Thank you CDJ.

This is not a place where they provide free chips and salsa and we ordered also ordered some for the table along with the guacamole. Everything tasted fresh, maybe a little too much lime in the guacamole though. The place felt like something between a chain Mexican restaurant and Javier's but smaller.
