EVERYTHING! When you…read morego to a therapeutic massage clinic, you're there to enter a healing space. Lilly is an Amazing Therapist, a former nurse who has seen everything the profession entails. She brings these skills to her therapy, and YOU need to be clear about what you're asking for. She is practiced in - among other methods -deep tissue massage; if you don't know what that is, or did not ask,-posting a whiney complaint that "she hurt my back" shows a lack of understanding on your part. Yes, Deep Tissue Massage can hurt, initially; if you can withstand a few minutes of that minor "pain" you will find that the pain that brought you there has been alleviated. If the "pain" of her skilled treatments are beyond your tolerance - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE This is not for everyone, until you realize the benefit she provides, So Please do not disparage her knowledge and skill with a comment based on ignorance. One 30 minute session changed the chronic aching in BOTH legs and BOTH shoulders to the point where i stopped blaming my joints for the searing spasms and missteps into the realization that the major nerves affected EVERYTHING i was feeling. The first (approximately) 10 minutes were spent on my feet; not gonna say it didn't hurt, it was like standing on a stone directly under your heels. The good news? THAT discomfort simply left my body, and it vanished quickly. She knew it before i did. Go o Mister Softy's generic massage if you want your skin and muscles gently rubbed - which feels good, sure, but the benefits are short -lived. I could go on... Lily is the Best!! Hands and Feet DOWN!!!

Meridian and lymphatic drainage massage review: I started at JJ seeking acupuncture and therapeutic…read moremassage for a stiff/painful neck and shoulder issue last year. But then I stayed a monthly visitor because I switched to the Meridian and lymphatic drainage massage with Sherry, and that has been a game changer for my overall stress relief and body tension. It's my favorite new self care routine! The Meridian MASSAGE does all over your body trigger points I believe, and that really works well for reducing overall body pain and keeps me feeling more relaxed in general. I was prescribed lymphatic drainage massage by a physical therapist to treat a condition and I was happy to see that this could be added to my existing massage treatments. So now I get a 90 minute Meridian and lymphatic drainage massage once a month to reduce my daily pain so it helps keep me moving and doing the things I love.

Five Stars for J.J. Health Renewal and Sherry!…read more I've been seeing Sherry at J.J. Health Renewal for over a year now, and her massages are simply amazing! She's always professional, listens closely to my concerns--especially with my back issues, and communicates clearly throughout each one-hour session. From the very first visit, I could tell she's a true expert. Her deep knowledge of anatomy and mastery of various massage techniques, many rooted in ancient practices, make a real difference. Every session is tailored to what my body needs that day, and I always leave feeling lighter, more relaxed, and with noticeably less pain--like I'm floating on air! It's also clear that Sherry stays current with the latest therapeutic methods. Bonus: the facilities are spotless and beautifully maintained, which adds to the overall sense of care and professionalism. I highly recommend J.J. Health Renewal to anyone seeking a top-tier therapeutic massage experience!

I have been coming here for quite some time for massages. You cannot beat $40 for an hour massage!…read moreI always ask for Amy, she will take care of you. I am pretty active and she knows just the areas I need the most work on without having to tell her. Pros: I love that for the quality of this massage is offered at this price point. The massages I've received are the deep tissue massages. It's really relaxing and you are taken care of. I usually am close to falling asleep when I'm getting worked on. Cons: parking can be a pain (I usually like to park in the front but there's only 2 available in front) since there are homeless people around about half the time. The room walls are pretty thin so if there are people coming in and out, you can hear it all. English isn't the primary language so sometimes when you call, it takes a bit to translate your message across. If you are using card to pay, there's an extra $1 charge.

Unfortunately, the pressure never changed for the remaining 20 minutes. The bigger issue was the customer service afterward. I paid by card and wanted to leave a cash tip, but when I asked for change, I was told none was available. There was also a $3 card processing fee added to my bill. I ended up leaving a $7 tip, and the therapist seemed visibly unhappy because it wasn't the amount she expected. There was no thank you, just an attitude and she walked away. I always tip for good service, but tips should be appreciated, not expected. The experience left a disappointing final impression.
