    Koobideh Kabob

Great experience here. Servers were quite nice and the koobideh was juicy and boneless chicken had a good char, yet still very tender. Raffi's is the closest comparison I can compare to and it competes very well + no wait when I went!

Everything tasted great! The chicken brag was delicious, and Amir was a great and very kind server. Thank you!

I heard this place was amazing, so I called to order takeout. Mina was so sweet on the phone that she actually convinced me to come in and eat there--and I'm so glad I did! The restaurant has such a quaint, charming NYC feel. It's intimate, with maybe 20 tables at most, and the staff is incredibly friendly, warm, and fun. While I was there, there was a birthday celebration and an engagement celebration happening, which made the whole atmosphere feel even more special. The birthday singing and music were so much fun! And the food... the salmon albaloo polo was AMAZING! Mina, Mehdi, Neda, Tina, Teo, Mauricio, Alex, and Daniel truly feel like one big family, and they made me feel like part of it. They even treated me to dessert and Persian tea with rock candy. Such a fun and memorable experience! Whether you're dining alone, going on a date, or celebrating a special occasion, this is definitely a place to check out. Highly recommend!

A staple in my household. Never fails to satisfy 10/10 Neda is wonderful, as well as the entire staff + amazing prices!

Enjoyed outstanding Persian cuisine in a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. We were seated outdoors which felt like a private dining experience. We started with shared appetizers of delicious hummus, eggplant, dolmeh and a yogurt cucumber sauce. For dinner my partner and I shared a scrumptious Sadaf combination #3 which included succulent and uniquely marinated rack of lamb ribs, juicy and flavorful chicken and steak. We highly recommend the Sadaf salad as an upgrade for a small price which includes dates, olives, fresh walnuts and feta. Wine available by the glass and bottle. The Persian ice cream with pistachio and rose water was a divine close to our evening. Some limited street parking available and a lot next to the restaurant.

Went back for the lunch experience. The chicken was not as amazing as the first time. I still like their salad. The chicken lunch special including tip was about $32. It was a large portion. The service was challenging. Our server would forget things and appeared to be distracted. He was on his phone most of the time. It's a charming restaurant but service today was a miss. The food was still pretty good not great.

Fresh cooked meals, wide menu variety, & a great service. This place is good. Only reason it lost stars is because i've have better Persian food before. But I still really enjoyed my food. I ordered the combination 3 stews which comes with fesenjun, ghormesabzi, & one other bean stew that I forgot the name of. It was pretty good. Fesenjun is my favorite persian food but I've have better ones many times. The meat inside it wasn't very tender.

Combination of 3 Stews, all delicious - 5 stars!

I'm not too familiar with Persian food, but after dining here last weekend I'd definitely like to try more! This restaurant is cozy, chic, and the customer service was excellent!! Below is what we tried: Hummus - 4 1/2 Stars. This tahini hummus was the perfect consistency and rich in flavor. Definitely get this was a side of pita to scoop it up with, though would have been better if the pita was warm. One order is a portion big enough for 4 people. Juicy Chicken - 5 stars! Cooked perfectly, the name does it justice -- this was juicy, rich in flavor and delicious. Beet Salad - 4 stars. The beets were good, could have used a bit more feta and walnuts. (Personal preference) Plain Tahdig - 3 1/2 stars. My buddy liked this, I thought it tasted a bit stale. This is basically crispy rice that pairs well with stews. Combination of 3 Stews - 5 stars. This was excellent! Each stew was robust and rich in flavor and excellent with rice or the leftover pita from the hummus. I unfortunately can't tell you what all the stews were, but I want them again! All in all, this is a solid spot for classic Persian dishes in an intimate environment.

    Juicy Chicken + Shirazi Salad

There is no greater joy than a restaurant achieving what it has promised and Sadaf did just that during my visit. I ordered the Juicy Chicken but little did I know I'd be served the juiciest, and perfectly flavored chicken breast I've had in my life. To make matters even more impressive, the Shirazi Salad was fresh, bright, and I took the liberty of dipping the last bits of my chicken in the citrusy juice--what an absolute treat. Visit them for your next professional meeting, date, or catch-up with your best friend. It's a classy space with a super attentive staff, and at a shockingly reasonable price for BH. Enjoy!

Best Persian food in LA. Totally upto par with food in Iran. The lamb is definitely a standout. Have not found better! Definitely try to street park. Their parking lot is expensive.

The food itself was delicious…read more We didn't experience the ambiance since we placed a delivery order. However, I have to give this two stars because we ordered two items specifically for several vegetarians in our party: the ghormeh sabzi and the gheimeh. Based on the descriptions provided on Uber Eats, there was no indication whatsoever that either dish contained meat. We had never had Persian food before, so naturally, we relied on the restaurant's own menu descriptions when ordering. What makes this especially frustrating is that the descriptions listed multiple ingredients in each dish while completely omitting the meat. Meat is not a minor garnish or an ingredient customers should be expected to infer--it is a fundamental part of a dish and something customers need to know before ordering, particularly those with dietary restrictions. Worse, one of the vegetarians in our party actually ate some of the food before realizing there was meat in it. They have deliberately maintained a vegetarian diet and would never have knowingly chosen to eat meat, so realizing afterward that they had unknowingly broken that commitment was genuinely upsetting. This could have been avoided by simply including the word "beef" or "meat" in an accurate description of the dish. Everyone had been looking forward to trying the food, but a significant portion of our large order ended up going to waste. Since we ordered late in the evening, the vegetarians in our party were left with essentially nothing to eat and had to settle for chips. The food was genuinely good, which makes this even more disappointing. Accurate menu descriptions are a very basic expectation. Customers should not need prior knowledge of Persian cuisine or have to Google every unfamiliar dish to discover that the restaurant left a major ingredient out of its own description.

That personal interaction reminded me of the philosophy behind places like The French Laundry in Yountville, where dining is not simply dining and its more about serving a plate of food the chef, ingredients, story, and hospitality are all part of the unique experience. Of course, this is Persian dining, but that same level of pride and personal attention made our evening feel special. The koobideh was outstanding (eventhough we ordered All Javan Combo to try most of the kababs in menu) for someone who knows the flavors of Tehran, it is very difficult for me to find koobideh in the States that gives me that familiar taste of home. This one did. The meat quality was exceptional, and everything was beautifully prepared. We ended up to ordering some to go koobideh. The torshi was beyond this world, and their homemade mast o moosir and doogh (yogurt drink) were excellent. Everyone was professional and welcoming, but Ali's presentation was what made the experience memorable. If you miss Iran, or simply want to experience genuine Persian food and hospitality, this is the kind of place that brings back that feeling. It wasn't just dinner. It was an experience.

It's incredibly juicy & tender, & the portions are also huge, I feel like this is 4 meals. I always sub the white rice for loobia polo which is my favorite rice, it's made w/ ground beef, green beans, tomato paste & basmati rice. It is SO flavorful & it's perfect w/ the koobideh. I also love the grilled tomato, onions, & bell peppers w/ it. They also make the kabob very buttery but it's not overwhelmingly buttery. Masto Moosir 9.78/10- this is my favorite app to get here. It's yogurt mixed w/ chopped shallots & it's perfect w/ the lavash bread they give to start. I love adding mint & red onions to it as well, it makes it even more refreshing. Also a great complement to the koobideh platter. Their Persian hot tea is also my favorite but it's been too hot to get lately, however I do recommend it. This is my favorite Persian restaurant in LA, I love this place & crave it at least 3 times a week no joke. Their stews are also very good (especially their fesenjoon). This restaurant is always packed, for a reason! But even w/ that their service is amazing & the food is consistently good. Shoutout Hannah for putting me on. Instagram: @hungrytamale
