We tried this place from all the great reviews we seen on yelp.And boy we had a smile from ear to ear! Just the BEST breakfast I've had PERIOD! They give big portions for your money. The Chef you can tell cooks from the heart,and made sure our meal was on point.I forgot to tell him my daughter couldn't handle spicy ,he was MORE than happy to fix her burrito with NO questions asked.I felt bad that it was going to waste, he was so cool about it.He said things happen and thanked ME for giving him the opportunity to make me HAPPY. The food here really isn't good. Not worth the price. Very flavorless as well. The salsas that came with my sandwich had no flavor at all. I've never had a salsa that tasted like that. No joke, the BEST eggs benedict I've ever had! The owner/chef is super nice and you can tell the food is made with passion. After one bite, I knew I needed to come back the next day for more! This restaurant supports local farmers, bakery, beef and fisherman! Eat local! Best food in town. Great prices for delicious food. I also appreciate that this owner believes in health before wealth by asking anyone who has traveled within 14 days order to go and they deliver to their vehicle. The best breakfast on the island, hands down. We stopped by on our last morning and are so glad we found this gem. It serves up flavorful and homemade breakfast food in massive portions. The Juan breakfast burrito was incredible and the Avo and Bacon breakfast sandwich was delicious as well. So a bit worried about leaving a review for Saenz Ohana Breakfast. Kind of want to keep this place a secret and to myself. Having been married on the island 10 years ago and this being our 5th trip since, we think we know a little about the island and where to find some great food. I have been wrong in not ever trying Saenz. This is the best breakfast I have ever had on Kauai. The Eggs benedict with kalua pork is possibly the best benedict I have ever eaten. The only problem we had was not trying this place until our last day on the island. Need to mention Chef Saenz is the most down to earth friendly person. He is able to explain each dish and help point you in the right direction. Already planning the next trip back to Kauai and looking forward to Chef Saenz's hospitality. read more
