My FAVORITE THAI PLACE! The spicy wings are amazing. We always get that as an appetizer. The atmosphere is great. It's very calming and it's just a wonderful date night spot. The drunken noodles, fried rice, and red curry, OH MY! I want to eat here everyday. We haven't come across a dessert that we find over the top yet, but the green tea ice cream is delicious. The drinks are amazing. The white sangria comes in a carafe for $7 and you get like 2 1/2 glasses. Yum! My fiancé likes the mango punch but I thin it's too artificial mangoey. Ordered pad thai - the most simple thai dish of them all. And it was terrible. I mean, beyond terrible. Noodles were so bland, so I used the terribly salty soy sauce to give them some flavor. Tasted like they boiled pieces of cardboard that the terrible soy sauce came in. Chicken was flavorless as well. Strayed and tried somewhere new. Probably one of (if not, the best) thai places in the area! Totally inexpensive and delivers exactly what you expect in thai food. I got the summer rolls to start - the dipping sauce was pretty sweet. Then the green curry with vegetable and tofu - really good, although the menu said it comes with eggplant and there was no eggplant in there. I got caught in the rain without an umbrella and decided to duck in here for a quick bite while I waited for the weather to improve, and I'm glad I did. I'm writing this review at 2:00 on a Friday, so it's not particularly busy. I was sat immediately at a table for two, ice water was promptly brought to me. I took my time perusing the menus, there's a lunch special menu available from 12-4 and the full service menu available at any time. I ordered from the latter menu, the Thai Crispy Calamari to start, and the Bangkok Skirt Steak with Sweet Potato Fries (home fries are the alternative choice) as my main. To drink I ordered the FOMO. All of the aforementioned are pictured below. The FOMO is a very pleasant sweet and spicy with the classic pineapple juice + turmeric combination and the green chili gives it a nice aromatic punch. The Thai Crispy Calamari was also very enjoyable, nice and crunchy, and certainly enough for two people. Seasoned with salt, basil, and what tasted like a sweet tamarind sauce, there was plenty of flavor to go around. Unfortunately the Bangkok Skirt Steak wasn't anything to write home about. My steak, which I ordered medium, was slightly over cooked and the sweet potato fries, which I ordered at the waitresses recommendation, were -in a word- mundane. The saving graces of this dish were the dipping sauce which really brings out that mesquite flavor of the steak and the bed of very nicely sautéed bok choy with garlic. The veggies maintained their bite which I appreciated and really provided some relief from the savory nature of the skirt steak and fries. Overall I give SAGE four of five stars for their quality service, atmosphere, and the appetizer and drink I enjoyed. I will definitely be back, if only to see how they fare on a busy Friday night. read more

This is a really good neighborhood spot. We usually get delivery from the restaurant itself, and sometimes the wait can be longer than expected. That being said, the food hasn't ever been delivered cold. As far as overall food goes, it is consistently a four out of five, and that is why we love it. This place was so yummy! Not five stars just because the food was a little bit off than expected. As a person who consumes a lot of Thai food something just didn't taste right in their tom yum soup but nevertheless, still highly recommended. My sister and I were served by Anthony who was excellent and so kind. He was attentive, funny and recommended some dishes. We were there on the earlier side and turns out from 5-7 there is an early bird special where you get soup, appetizer and a main dish all for $13! Which is a great deal! I ordered the Thai meatballs which were good, the tom yum soup which I noted was a little off but it was still hearty with lots of fresh vegetables. For main dish, I ordered the pad Thai with chicken and the portion was big and definitely bang for your buck. So good but couldn't finish. They also have an extensive drink menu which I believe there is a bar attached to it in the back. I ordered a white sangria and it was delicious and went well with the pad Thai. I honestly would love to go to the bar part sometime. The mood and decor was really warm, welcoming and trendy. Super good for dinner and drinks and cute instagram pics! This restaurant is amazing!!! The staff are always so friendly and so funny! They are a great group of people. The food is sooo quick and is very tasty too! They have an amazing arrangement of specials each week so it keeps it exciting and always something new to look forward to. The vibe of the restaurant is very unique and unlike any other Thai restaurants I've been to! And directly next door (they share a wall), is the bar. It is very complimentary to the restaurant, has the same vibe, if not better and they have an amazing selection of beer! The bartenders are all very nice and make a great drink! I don't love the chairs, but you get used to them after a while. Definitely a must visit! read more

My go-to Thai food place. The prices are reasonable, and all the food I've ordered has been great. I remember getting the drunken noodles, Pad Thai, and sweet and sour stir fry so far, all good. Summer rolls and golden bags (hehe) are good, too. Thai iced tea is my guilty pleasure. Really nice decor inside, good mood lighting at night. It's a good date spot, maybe? I don't know, who dates anymore, right? I see a lot of specific complaints in reviews on how they cook the food. Great Food, Great Atmosphere, Amazing Service, definitely reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Sage. From start to finish it was amazing. We arrived on a Saturday Night at 8pm and were seated instantly in a very nice part of the restaurant. There was live jazz music music and an amazingly talented vocalist leading the band. We were given a very impressive drink menu and to my surprise, there was a huge number of great beers on-tap. My party of four ordered and just minutes later all our drinks were out in front of us. We then ordered an appetizer and dinner. The waitress got our appetizer incorrect and when we told her she was so polite and apologetic wheras as most servers at other restaurants typically give you this look of disdain as if you should just eat what they give you. They had our correct order out in about 5 minutes. It was the duck spring rolls and they were perfect; a delicious balance of fresh greens and seasoned duck. Our dinner came out, I ordered the Green Curry with Chicken, my party ordered the red curry with chicken, the sage fried rice with chicken and the Sage noodle w/ Tofu. I tried mine and I remember thinking "god, this is delicious, I have no regrets about not ordering anything else" but much to my surprise after we all exchanged bites of our entrees with each other, everyone else's was equally as delicious in different ways whether it was spicy or savory. The atmosphere is also worth mentioning. On nice days, the front of the restaurant opens out to let a nice cool night breeze in. The lighting is dim but not dark and it's very tastefully decorated. Also, for a Saturday night, the conversational levels of those around was not bad at all, we didn't have to raise our voices at all so that we could understand each other - which is what typically happens many times at crowded restaurants on a Saturday night. Sage is my go-to for delivery! They're decently priced, food comes quickly and also the food is good. I'm not even joking they come in like, fifteen to twenty minutes. I've opened my door to accept delivery in the most inappropriate clothes (or lack thereof) because I never have time to change before the delivery man gets to my door. Big fan of the spicy beef salad. I usually order this with a side of rice and add avocado to cut the spiciness. The fried rices are all good, bit on the oily side though. Flavours are on point. The curries are also good but they skimp on the meat. They're usually quite milky so if that isn't your thing, well... I went to Sage Friday night to celebrate a birthday for my good friend. I made reservations on Opentable for 4 people and went we arrived our table was ready for us. Usually some places say the wait time is about 5 minutes. I was happy to be seated so quickly. The ambience was perfect for the occasion. Our party ordered 3 appetizers, 5 entrees (one To-Go), and one dessert for the Birthday girl. The price was about $114, which isn't bad at all for the amount of food we received. The Thai wings weren't spicy but very flavorful, the crispy calamari was perfectly seasoned and came with a sauce topped on it already that was a bit sweet, and the spring rolls were very good as well. The staff was attentive and made my Friend's Birthday so nice. The band played Happy Birthday while the staff brought out her dessert with a candle in it. It wasn't too overwhelming where the whole restaurant sings to you, which my friend was happy for. All and all I would definitely recommend dinning here! read more

This spot is amazing during covid. Well organized and split up . This review is to discuss the rude service. After I tipped my server they returned to my table to point to the suggested amount and proceeded to ask me what was wrong with the service. Which I responded nothing was wrong I gave them a tip. I've worked in the service industry and tips are a SUGGESTION . I could've easily paid my bill and not given anything . All my server did was take my order and serve my drink . My tip should've actually went to the man from the kitchen who served and cleared my table. Please be aware do not have Praer as your server from this place . After a lovely meal she disrupted us with her behavior. I've never had any issue with the service at this restaurant and I've been going there for years . Always stop here when near my spouse's work. There's a lot of things I love about Sage-One, they have a kid's menu. Two, their food is great. I always get the Tom Kha soup (big portions and very generous with veggies) and the Chicken Chili Basil. Three, they're always super prompt. We never have had to wait long for anything. In regards to the food... don't order the crispy wings. They should change the name to "not so crispy" wangs. The pad Thai was banging tho. Ordered another round and it took long too. So now comes the bill. We split it 5 ways and tel me why there are 5 different amounts?!(one bill was $5 another $112?!) I'm upset! Ambiance was nice though. Red curry is supremely spicy, in a good way, and the tofu is silky and delicious - not the chewy fried stuff you tend to get at other spots. Pad thai is ok, but I'll stick with the red curry here. The mock duck isn't their specialty - rubbery and flavorless - so if you're veg I'd stick with the tofu. Sage has been my go-to Thai restaurant in this neighborhood for around 18 months. I'm a big fan of the massaman curry with chicken and the shrimp dumplings. Other good dishes include the pad see ew and the drunken noodle. I particularly like the spiciness of the latter. I've brought friends and family here, especially for the lunch special -- $9-10 for an appetizer and an entree. It's one of the best deals in the area, I think. And no one's ever expressed not liking their meal. I've also been happy with the service I get. Over my time in the neighborhood, the waitresses have been super attentive and have learned my name. If it's not busy, they usually come over for a few minutes to spark a quick conversation and make me feel even more welcomed. As such, they've made me feel like an appreciated regular. read more
