Living in MI there is no other pizza better than Sahara's. Zach manages the shop and has personal service to each island resident. The salads are good, wings, bread, everything. I highly recommend anyone visiting as well to try this place. You won't regret it. So Worth it! Delicious!

So good! My faves are the Sahara and the garlic twisty bread. So glad we've got it on the island. And prices are reasonable too

We got seated, but there was no wait time. We chose outdoor seating because the weather was nice. For drinks, we ordered a raspberry Italian soda and a sprite. The sprite tasted watered down, and had no flavor. The raspberry Italian soda was delicious though! When our server took our order, i believe he took the order wrong. We asked for a pepperoni puntura, and from the looks and tastes it was a simple pepperoni pizza. This was disappointing because we always get pepperoni puntura and were fondly looking forward to that pizza. If I really wanted a simple pepperoni pizza then I would have bought dominos. It was missing the honey and the cheese they add on top, which is why I'm saying that they gave us a pepperoni pizza. For the price you would think the service would be immaculate but from the visit, clearly they don't pay attention to the customers. The Margherita pizza was delicious and would definitely order again! No complaints for that. The restaurant was full of people and had a good ambiance. However, we were never checked up in during our visit until we pointed it out. All together, I would not recommend this location but the Ravenna location has been my favorite spot of mioposto.

Arriving early, we had a drink at the bar where the service was excellent and the atmosphere was peacefully quiet. Just note that the noise level climbs significantly as the night goes on, and the drinks are a steep investment at $25 a pop for an Old Fashioned and a whiskey on the rocks. Dinner service was a mixed experience between the food, waiter, and support staff. The support staff were exceptional at delivering food and clearing the table. However, our primary waiter was rushing the experience, never established a relationship, and didn't sync up our drink flights with our entrees. The absolute worst experience occurred at the end of our meal. The hosts crammed a party of five into an adjacent table for four, resulting in the fifth guest sitting on the bench seating within an inch of my wife's personal space, completely disregarding our experience to seat this excessively large group. The message was clear: your time is up, please leave, or we don't care about your experience. It's a shame because the kitchen doesn't miss a beat, but this blatant disrespect and premature seating is unacceptable.

The food was ok to very good depending on who you talked to in our party. The specials were generally all very good; the chicken Parmesan and Chicken Marsala were fairly middle of the road. The grilled pear salad was the one disappointing item; cold and tough pears in big chunks just gave it a very strange feel. But all that said, great place for a family dinner. Just not the food quality you expect at these prices. Rounding up from 3.5 given all of its other great qualities.

I was quite taken by the restaurant. It even hosts a wonderful view of downtown Seattle and a peak of the Puget Sound. The restaurant is small and intimate. This Italian-style restaurant served one of the best meals I had at the time. So when the opportunity to return came, I wanted to run there from my home. We were immediately shown to our table, and drinks arrived with little effort. One thing to watch for is that they offer sparkling water or tap water. It is easy to think of it as an option, but the sparkling water is a few bucks by the bottle. With four people, it is easy to go through a few bottles quickly - this is my weakness since I have replaced soda with sparkling water. We began with cheesy flat bread and baked goat cheese. The cheesy flatbread was amazing and delicious, and the baked goat cheese was out of this world. I can honestly say that I did not know what to expect, but the baked goat cheese with Taro chips was delightful. What is a trip to an Italian restaurant without a Caesar salad? I added grilled shrimp that were just wonderful as well. This Caesar had a creamy dressing, croutons, and shredded parmesan. The dressing was not overwhelming, but the croutons were a bit hard and difficult to chew. I would give it a B-. I had the PENNE SPECIALI ( mesquite-grilled chicken, spinach, tomato, mushrooms, white wine butter sauce). The description of this dish was better than the flavor. Salt is a flavor enhancer, but when you add it to the dish after it's been cooked, it's like lukewarm coffee - it's okay, but you would have preferred it hot. For dessert, I had the caramel, chocolate custard with chocolate sticks. This was heavenly, and I would eat 100 more. This is a dessert worth the wait, and I do not advise you to share because you will get less. It was the perfect finish. One secret restaurateurs must know is that ambiance, setting, and conversation enhance the food experience, but if the food does not complement the other parts of the experience, something is lost. This place has everything: the view, service, and dining intimacy. Why leave the main dish out of the experience? I want to want to come back like I did the first time I fell in love with "That's Amore."

We started with the house-baked focaccia, topped with September grapes, anise and rosemary. The sweet-savory combination was unexpected but worked beautifully. The cavolo kale salad was another standout--super flavorful with black garlic & lime Caesar dressing, parmigiano, crunchy seeds and fried capers. For pasta, we tried the Tagliatelle a Nido with beef and pork Tuscan ragù and the Bucatini all'Amatriciana. Both pastas had a great texture and rich sauces, but the tagliatelle was my favorite--comforting, deeply savory, and perfect with all that parmigiano. Also had the Trouble in Paradise cocktail with bourbon, Campari, lemon, grapefruit and basil--refreshing with a nice bitter edge. Beautiful setting, creative Italian food, and definitely feels like a special little escape in West Seattle. Would happily come back for another pasta night!

The interior now is a very clean, well-decorated restaurant that is very heavily frequented, but makes you feel comfortable, unrushed, and unaware of the conversations around you. We were about a month out from the date we made our reservation - expect similar, though do check in for cancellations, and know that the bar does full menu service as well. Greeters and waitstaff were kind and complete the welcoming vibe through the whole service. Start with some specialty cocktails, or a selection from a decent wine list, and have at the menu. Indicate your interests to the waitstaff and they will help you program your meal service. Family-style works great here and the 4 of us split focaccia, charcuterie and a kale salad, split two pastas for primi, two entrees for secondi, and two deserts. The focaccia was studded with dark cherries and was a nice change. The kale salad was a huge hit, with ceasar-like dressing and almost a granola of seeds and fried capers tossed in. The summer cavatelli special was like a walk through a garden, very fresh and light. The tagliatelle is iconic, for good reason. We did a double-cut bone-in rib-eye that was prepared, paraded thru the dining room, and then carved for sharing. The king salmon was very fresh, but none of us were a fan of the braised bitter greens and leeks that accompanied it - skip this in favor of king elsewhere. As for desert - while the chocolate torte and tiramisu had great flavor, we all agreed the preoccupation with cocoa nibs was distracting to the mouthfeel of both dishes. If I had it to do over, I'd probably do more small plates and wrapping up with pasta and doing desert elsewhere. BUT gorgeous experience, on a gorgeous summer evening and still very glad we went!

Now given after a preview of menu it's gonna be a veal piccata night and that's accompanied by spaghetti aglio e olio. Like OMG my two favorite dishes combined on one plate... say it isn't so . No salad tonight cause it's all about the veal, and for you folks who hate veal well "fuhgeddaboudit" cause I like it! After a small wait the main event arrives and folks it's delicious. Its tender and picata sauce is overwhelming with lemony sensations. I twirled pieces of veal and spaghetti aglio e olio on my spoon for the most amazing combination of tastes. Feeling satisfied and complete I didn't have desert which actually looked great. Who dosent love Spumoni ice cream when dining Italian style but tonight I didn't have the capacity to entertain another bite. Let's just say my meal was AWESOME! Now a little about the ambiance of Pizzutos. It's kinda stripped down. No fancy decor which is a blessing. These folks put the money in the product and not fancy settings.
