Great food, good amount of servings and it wont break the bank. You know a place is authentic when the chefs and the servers locals of the food they serve. The service is top notch....attentive and respectful. Very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of seating inside. we came at the right time because they were not busy, but by the time we are done lots of costumers came and they seem to be repeat costumers. The fish so fresh! So many options!! Atmosphere is date night and family friendly! Great music and the chefs are hilarious and consistently making sure you're ok (I sat at the bar) lol the server she was sooo cute!! Came to have a dinner date with my sister and we both left satisfied! We kicked off the evening with spicy edamame and their shrimp tempura. Their seasoning on the edamame is chefs kiss, pro tip: dip your tempura in it if your palette loves spice. The ambience is also very welcoming. We came around 6pm so they had a bit of a wait but the wait time is totally worth it. We ordered their 3 rolls and a Sapporo. My personal favorite was the yellow submarine roll (fresh and light) 2nd Truffle X (spicy and savory) and last marine boy (recommended if you like onion). Service was prompt. So prompt that I feel rushed to order coz they kept asking if we're ready to order. This is a good place if you're looking for some fresh sushi near Costco! The service is friendly and the speed at which food comes out of the kitchen is really fast! The only reason I don't give this place a higher rating is because I felt that the rolls (we ordered 5 different rolls) and they all kind of tasted similar in my opinion. I think their menu has too many items on there and the rolls are heavily sauced up that to me, they kind of felt the same. Yellowtail sushi was really fresh! Salmon belly nigiri was delicious and fatty! Escolar was good seared! This place is good. If you're around the Costco area its a nice place to try. It's definitely no Japanese high end Omakase place, but it isn't some low level revolving sushi place either. So if you're looking for sushi that's kind of in the middle, then this is a solid place. Sai Sushi is one of my favorite sushi spots in the area. This quaint restaurant is always busy and full of locals during prime dinner hours (even during the weekdays). I've only been a few times so far but every time I've gone, the service has been friendly & fast. It's easy to notice their relationship with their regulars, which I appreciate. They have a decent amount of items on their menu, including a good amount of sushi rolls to choose from. My favorite so far is the Scallops Lover roll as I'm a huge fan of scallops. The sushi dinner combos are a great deal. There's several combo selections to choose from (sushi, sushi & sashimi or sashimi only) and all of it includes salad and miso soup. Their fish is fresh and portion sizes are pretty good for the price. They give you a good amount of fish in their rolls. Of all the items we've tried so far, I most likely wouldn't order their ramen again. For ~$7, you get a bowl of instant ramen. It's not bad for the price, but don't except the traditional Japanese ramen. read more

We had a late lunch here yesterday. Walked in and it wasn't busy at all. We picked our table and ordered within minutes. I loved the assorted lunch Sashimi. Tuna, Salmon, and I can't recall the third. Fresh, no smell and tasty. Paired with a glass of house Chardonnay.. delish! Wife ordered salmon lover roll and was made perfectly. Never ate in the restaurant. I've tried this place 3 times takeout. I always end up thinking it was eh... after the meal. So I won't order for a long time and when I get that sushi fix, I'll order it again and think it was eh again. The good part is that their sushi pieces are big. The beef bendo at this Japanese restaurant is a pre-cooked meal. So funny when I saw my food coming out of the microwave. The mochi ice cream was the same one you can find at a well known supermarket. This restaurant serves nothing but pre-cooked food, just sold at double the price. read more

This little spot is tucked away surrounded by multiple business. It's very busy during dinner hours so be prepared for a wait. The seating is very limited, has what feels like 6-8 tables plus sushi bar seating. The service wasn't over the top but it wasn't bad either. I can't really comment on it considering I placed my order with a paper and the server took it and placed it for me at the bar. Not much of any interactions. My water wasn't filled which is OK but I typically do have 2-3 glasses per meal. The sushi rolls are well served, 1-2 rolls is more than plenty for a meal. The fish to rice ratio was great. I wasn't a fan of all the sushi combinations they had but that's okay, each spot has their take on things.. I think this place a little pricier than normal. But considering the area you're in, I guess it's appropriate. I spent nearly $50 on two rolls with no drink which is crazy. This place seems awesome if you're a local and regularly come here. Sushi is my top 2 favorite foods to eat at all times so I was glad to find this gem in the area we just moved by. We're making our rounds with all top sushi places in the town and while the quality of sushi of Sai Sushi is not the best I've had ever, it's the best in this area and this restaurant is downright charming because of the kind staff and welcoming atmosphere they've created, relationships clearly established with locals. You definitely see regulars here, and if you pay attention you can see why : genuine energy from the service staff. There are specials listed on the board but I didn't get a chance to ask if it was discounted or a seasonal highlight. We've sat once at the bar and once at a table. Small inside makes it feel more chaotic than it is. Also they're constantly busy! Prepare for a wait during prime dinner time. read more

Sometimes the unexpected is always the best. We originally wanted to eat at the Thai restaurant but "accidentally" walked too close and aimed into Sai Sushi. The venue is small, but atmosphere is clean and nice. The staff is very service oriented-- and the sushi menu is great! The Udon combo is great! The soup was piping hot so burnt the tip of my tongue. My favorite is the red dragon roll and soft shell crab hand roll (which was market price). Time and time, I forget and undervalue the M.P. listing (). We ended spending a little too much but was worth the splurge and helping another small business owner.
