Straight fire. I got the pork banh mi and an avocado smoothie. The bread was great it was soft inside and slightly crunchy where your mouth doesn't get ripped to shreds like other places that over toast their bread. Everything was portioned nicely in the sandwich everything worked well in combination to make a great tasting sandwich. The avocado smoothie was good. I was very saddened when T Bread down the street closed but was super delighted when I saw that this place had opened! I really dig the decor and the vibe inside - reminded me of some Vietnamese shops in East SJ. On the salted coffee and popcorn chicken alone I would give this place 5 stars. I usually find viet coffee to be overwhelmingly sweet but this coffee is perfectly done and just the right amount. I got the beef banh mi - the bread and toppings were great but I feel like the beef itself was a miss. It had gochujang sauce which was very strange for a vietnamese place. It wasn't BAD but it's definitely not what I wanted in a typical grilled beef banh mi. Maybe if they labelled that it was a KOREAN sauce I would think differently. Went twice just to be sure. Good bahn mi can be tough to find. While their bread is legit and absolutely delightful I wasn't a fan of the grilled pork or mixed meat. The veggies inside were also low on flavor. Has the Vietnamese coffee which had no flavor and the white version. Also tried the egg foam (this was great!). Superrrr cute interior that's well thought out, and team is really nice. Hope they mod the recipes abit or expand the menu for other sandwiches. Also has the spring rolls. I had the beef grilled sandwich and green Thai Tea. The bread as just as good as the ones I had in Vietnam. Good service and the food came out quickly. The store looked very clean and the decoration was on point. According to the owner's daughter, they imported ingredients from Vietnam. Talk about authenticity . My banh mi tastes just like something I'd get in Little Saigon in Orange County. Finally, a spot to get Viet goodies and I don't have to drive all the way to San Jose. Plus they have yummy boba drinks. I got the sunny matcha which was mango and matcha boba. Looks like the cafe is Viet run and had new decor honoring the culture. Service was also fast and friendly. Came here for the first time and it did not disappoint. First off the staff is super nice and inside is decorated so cute. But the sandwiches! Let me tell you they do not skimp on the filling. Finally - a banh mi shop in Mountain View that I can rave about! I was greeted by a very sweet cashier who took my order. You can order at the kiosk as well, but I prefer ordering from a person. I ordered the #1 - grilled pork and #6 - Saigon signature. The bread was fantastic! It reminded me of the OG Vietnamese bread from the 90s, soft and slightly crunchy. The grilled pork was good, but I preferred the signature sandwich; the thin-cut meat and flavor profile were on point! The only qualm I have is that they don't give enough radish/carrot, please pack it on! A contender to DH in San Jose, IMO. read more

The bread is really good, so good that it could rival the famous Duc Huong Bakery in San Jose. The size justifies the price tag. No, its nothing special. Ingredients are all bland and i didn't taste any fresh or distinct flavors. Bread is ok Patechaud is so bad. The meat is not done right. The best banh mi I've ever had since I came from Vietnam. Very much alike the Banhmi in Vietnam. Crunchy outside and soft inside but the signature is so on point with Vietnamese original banhmi. The drink is as good as other coffee and boba shop. Love the decoration so much. Very classy and cozy. The tiny houses and the fake breads are so cute. For the price, in this location and the portion of the sandwich, it's very decent. Can't even finish the large sandwich myself. Will definitely come back! read more

Decided to try the new banh mi shop in my neighborhood, and it did not disappoint. The interior of the shop is very nice and the staff are super friendly. Had the small Saigon Special and a Vietnamese iced coffee, and it was a pretty good deal. Bread was very good, and fillings were generous. I think next time I will ask easy on the mayo, at least for this sandwich as it also has pate. I will definitely be returning to scratch my banh mi itch on weekends. read more

We went a couple of days after it opened. We got the Saigon Signature, the Grilled Chicken, and the Grilled Pork banh mi sandwiches. Two of them were small and 1 was the large size. I think small is perfect for a meal, but if you are extra hungry, get the large. We also got 3 drinks, an avocado smoothie and 2 strawberry smoothies. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The bread was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. The filling was just right. The smoothies were creamy and yummy. We said 100% sweetness, but I think 75% would have been just fine too. Tried the Combination and the Pork Belly, both were so yummy!! And that baguette is really 10/10. Also tried the White Vietnamese Coffee and I recommend for those that like Vietnamese coffee but it can be too strong, the white Vietnamese is like a lighter and sweeter option. I traveled here from Alabama and accidentally stopped by for lunch with my children. I was so surprised because the food was delicious. I didn't have high expectations for the drinks since they mainly sell sandwiches here, but the milk teas were so good, just as good as other famous milk tea brands. My children absolutely loved the chicken and the milk tea; they drank every last drop, haha. I'll probably need to take my kids out to play a lot to burn off the energy after that milk tea :D (Oh, and the staff were also very nice, always coming to ask if we were satisfied or needed anything.) read more

I ordered the Saigon Signature Bánh Mì, and it was absolutely delicious! The sandwich was packed with a generous amount of meat and full of flavor. The customer service was excellent, everyone was very courteous and friendly, and the owner even came out to greet me and have a nice chat. The interior design is clean and stylish, perfect for photos and a comfortable dining experience. The price might seem a little high compared to similar spots in the San Jose area, but considering it's located in Mountain View, where everything is more expensive, the pricing is actually very reasonable/good for the quality and service you get. I came here with my boyfriend today, we got 2 large grilled pork banh mi's and the Stormy Green Thai Tea. Our order came out pretty quickly, maybe within 5 minutes. They accidentally forgot to add black pearls to our drink but they remade another one and kindly let us keep the first one. When we first ordered, I didn't know it was topped with a creamy ube foam, but we were pleasantly surprised with how it actually tasted like real ube! Our sandwiches were super tasty, the pork was well seasoned and tender. The bread was crunchy and not stale at all. By no means was the sandwich dry, but I think for our personal preference we might ask for extra house sauce next time.
