Sake has such a cute interior! I've never had a bad experience with service. I love that they have a free parking lot. They have a bigger menu with a variety of rolls! My sushi rolls are always good (crawfish roll & crunch roll)! I cannot wait to swing by for a happy hour!

Don't order from DoorDash, my order took over an hour to be delivered by DoorDash and they got the order incorrect. As you can see the roles were not wrapped in soy paper.

I really enjoyed the shrimp tempura and the sauces that came with it. We sat at the bar & there's a tv there so the game was playing. The bartender was very sweet. I love that they have their own parking lot which is rare on Magazine.

Our party of six came in for happy hour. We ordered and when the check came, our server told us she forgot to do happy hour pricing but comped two of the dishes saying that it evened out. Our party paid with one card with intention to split the bill in private, but after calculating what the correct happy hour pricing should have been, we discovered we were overcharged $22 for the bill. Everyone agreed the food and service were mediocre. If you do go, try the eel! The eel was very good.

My forever favorite! I've been hitting happy hour at Sake Cafe since grad school, and it was such a joy to visit again. 7 day happy hour, folks! The food is consistently delicious and the service is always great. I think our server was a little new, but she was sweet. The decor is open, trendy and ambient. The walls are full of signed pictures from high-profile, happy patrons. It's just an all-around great place to be with even better vibes. I recommend the goat cheese gyoza and the lava roll. Can't go wrong with the sashimi, either. VERY fresh. And my partner was a big fan of the crunchy rolls, he had at least two! Also, it's pretty accessible no matter what your mode of transportation. There's the 11 bus, and if you're driving, there's plenty of parking. Enjoy!!

Pretty standard Americanized fare. A little on the pricey side for the quality. I only go if someone else insists.

Bummed about this one. Got takeout and found a small piece of metal in my food. Not good ! Hate spending money on takeout that I'm afraid to finish.

    Dirty wine glass

I've always come here for sushi with friends, however, after this last time, it might be a while. A friend and I were drinking wine and found brown dirt stuck to the bottom of the wine glass from the inside. That's gross.

Great food! Excellent service. Very family friendly with kid's chop sticks. Highly recommend!!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

The menu has many choices. I ordered the firecracker shrimp with side arugula salad. The shrimp was yummy the salad too but expected more on the salad maybe cucumber or tomatoes over all for just having cheese on Arugula with dressing was ok. I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.

I visited The Bower the Saturday after Christmas as part of my Christmas bar crawl with friends,…read moreand it ended up being such a great experience! There were about 8 or 9 of us, and at first we thought we'd just be grabbing drinks at the bar. But of course, once the drinks started hitting, people got hungry lol. I spoke with a manager inside to see if they could seat us, and shoutout to Hannah, she was AMAZING! So sweet, super helpful, explained everything clearly, and even complimented a few of my friends on their festive outfits . We ended up getting seated and tried a few drinks from the Bar Humbug menu. I had the Santa Baby Margarita and the Silver and Gold Sidecar, both were delicious and definitely gave me a lil buzz buzz. I also tried the Bower Potatoes, which were solid. I'd give them a 7/10...tasty, but there was one seasoning on them that kind of lingered a little too much for me. The staff overall was great. Even though we were told at the bar that food orders wouldn't be brought out, someone did bring the food to our table, so major thank you for that little surprise. This was my first time including The Bower on our bar crawl list, and I'd definitely come back again next year. Beautiful space, great drinks, and A+ customer service. Special thanks again to Hannah for being such a gem.

Strong, smooth, and exactly the pick-me-up I needed after a long day. For food, we ordered: Whipped Feta Cacio e Pepe Spicy Scallop Arancini Beef Carpaccio When everything came out, the presentation was stunning. The whipped feta with pickled red onions and bruschetta toast was a great starter -- the onions added a nice crunch against the buttery toast. I do wish the feta was a bit more whipped, but flavor-wise it didn't disappoint. Cacio e pepe was creamy and comforting -- the ideal carb dish to soak up that martini. But the star of the night? The Beef Carpaccio. Ultra-thin slices topped with fresh arugula and lump crab meat -- light, refreshing, and such a nice contrast to the heavier dishes. My only complaint is that I wish they gave more beef! We sat at the bar, and the vibes were great. Our bartender was super attentive and made excellent drinks. Final Verdict: Definitely a must-try for happy hour. I'll be back!

Gabriel our server did a good job and think he'll open up more, the more comfortable he gets. We went ape on the food-captions in my food pics attached. Steak tartare, bone marrow, lamb lollipops, rigatoni, grilled romaine, cheese and caviar-followed by wellingtons and short ribs. Never trust women that don't eat. We are definitely not those women! Bathrooms also were striking and clean. My one question; why the knit striped polos for staff? Servers appeared like misplaced footlocker employees. Interesting choice. Will be back to indulge in the malted ice cream dish when my tummy is prepared to take it on. ;)

When visiting New Orleans, we stumbled across The Rum House and got curious. With a name like that,…read moreI figured they had to know rum, so we decided to give it a try. Luckily, we arrived during happy hour. We started with the tuna ceviche, which was half off. At only $8, it was an incredible value. The fish tasted very fresh, clean, and was beautifully presented. My only complaint was that it needed a little more lime and salt to really make the flavors pop. I'd absolutely order it again at happy hour, but at full price I'd hope for a little more seasoning. For drinks, we tried several. The Rum Punch didn't disappoint. It reminded me of a Hurricane but without the heavy grenadine flavor, which I personally prefer. Next was a creamy white rum cocktail with a pineapple garnish (I can't remember the name). It was surprisingly strong, which I loved since rum is usually a softer spirit. It was just a little sweeter than my taste, so I probably wouldn't order it again. The star of the night was the Piña Colada. It was honestly one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overly sweet, had an incredibly smooth, creamy texture, and was topped with whipped cream and a rum floater that was absolutely perfect. They told me it's double blended, and whatever they're doing works. My only complaint? No maraschino cherry! I'm sorry, but a piña colada just isn't complete without one. One thing to keep in mind is that piña coladas tend to drink more like dessert than a strong cocktail. I had two and barely caught a buzz, but honestly I didn't care because they were that good. We also sampled the White Peach Sangria, and to me it tasted very similar to Moscato. If you're a Moscato fan, you'll probably love it. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Between the happy hour deals, the rum cocktails, and especially that piña colada, The Rum House is absolutely worth a visit. The piña colada would be the first thing I'd order again.
