    Charboiled Oysters, Special Pearl Roll
    Brandi W.

I can always count on Poseidon for a later night option. I typically get the charboiled oysters, which are usually consistent. I also always get the Special Pearl Roll which comes with seafood. However, I make sure to ask for light sauce so I can truly appreciate the flavor of the roll. I also really love their Crab Rangoon appetizer. The bar service is usually pretty good as well, and their wine and cocktail prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a late night spot, this fits the bill.

This fried rice was the best I've ever eaten

We went here for the all you can eat sushi dinner. The food was so delicious (especially the fried rice!) and at the price point, you can't beat it.

We went for the $30 All You Can Eat Sushi on a Sunday night. We had no problems getting a table for 6 people earlier in the night. We even made it in time to order a bottle of half off champagne during happy hour!! They had a full menu. The tuna tartare was delicious and served very nicely. We tried all their specialty rolls which came out in a fun boat!! And their fried rice was probably the best fried rice I've ever had! Service was so friendly too! I would definitely go back. Maybe with friends and reserve a private karaoke room!

I was invited to a birthday dinner for my friend here on a Saturday evening. My friend had reserved one of the karaoke rooms. The restaurant was not busy and the staff were really friendly. We were able to order off the regular menu as well as a family style menu. The food came pretty quick and was delicious. I had the shrimp hibachi plate. Everything was really good and flavorful however the shrimp were a little salty. It was my first time doing karaoke and I really enjoyed it.

Tiger Eye roll! We ordered a few of these and ALL of them were presented and made the exact same way!

We had a karaoke party there and had a blast! We ordered a bunch of food and drinks! Sushi was good (Tiger Eye roll was 10/10) and the sake was great too! We were in a private room and had 2 waitresses helping us out! They were very attentive and great! Overall we had a great experience and want to go back! I didn't get many pictures, but I did manage to take one of the Tiger Eye roll after someone (myself) couldn't resist!

They offer a variety of sushi and different dishes. Drink options are plentiful. I reserved the Karaoke room for a friend's birthday celebration. We were allowed to bring in cake and gifts. The system is pretty easy to work. Wifi is available. Our server was very pleasant.

Mold and mush on the coconut shrimp

I ordered coconut shrimp off DoorDash as a late-night snack. My house was dark because I didn't want to wake my roommates, so I ate one and noticed it was soggy. I figured that might happen with takeout, so I brought the rest to the kitchen to throw them in the air fryer to crisp them up. Once I got them under the light, I saw the shrimp were a nasty grey color under the coconut batter. It was absolutely disgusting and I almost vomited. The decay under the batter was obvious and completely unacceptable. I cannot believe someone thought it was okay to serve and send this out to a customer. What makes it worse is that this restaurant used to be good. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years, and I have never in my life seen seafood this bad be sent out to a guest. Food safety should never be taken this lightly. I called and got told "it's the end of the night that's why it's not fresh"

We came for the all you can eat sushi and they did not disappoint. Happy hour is from 3-7 and I recommend coming in then to do both. Unfortunately you can hear the karaoke rooms throughout the restaurant but otherwise everything was great.

The food was amazing., My server Ashley was the greatest she was fantastic. She explained the menu perfectly and returned with our order in good timing., we visited the karaoke room around happy hour so the drinks were flowing and they were good. The karaoke room had everything we needed stocked in there we did not have to ask for any utensils. It was a nice size room with pretty art work. I loved it can't wait to visit again.

We went here to use the karaoke room. We had a nice time for sure! The food is decent with a vast selection of menu items as well as drinks. This location is great for parties as well. Street parking is available. Service was great. I'd recommend this place if you'd like to host a larger party and sing karaoke.

Came for the All You Can Eat menu and was not disappointed!! We started with a couple of appetizers like edamame, tuna tataki and crab Rangoon. I love raw fish and was pleased with the amount of sashimi available. We ordered 3 sushi rolls and they were a great size. We also finished with some udon noodles, my fav! Service was a little slow, but everything tasted delicious. All together I felt it was a great value!

Came here on a late night and was happy that they were open. When we arrived we were seated right away. Our waiter was friendly and made sure we were good. The food was good. Prices were reasonable. They also have a bar and karaoke. The menu had a wide variety of food options.

Right off the bat, after arriving on a Friday around 4:45 PM we were seated promptly, given water and the tastiest little sweet yeast rolls ever (the tops actually crackled when you squish them you guys), and made our bevvie choices. Tonic with lime for me (I'm behaving rn) and an Old Fashioned for wifey. Killer. We skipped the appetizer course and ended up ordering off the specials menu for both meals. I ordered the shrimp po' boy, which was around $22, and was surprised it didn't come with fries. Usually places either include them or at least mention that they're separate when ordering. We also started with the charbroiled oysters, and whatever topping or seasoning was on them had this weird crunchy, crackling texture that literally felt like it was cracking against my teeth when I bit into it. I don't know if it was burnt cheese or what, but I personally could not eat more than one. The service also wasn't great during our visit. After our food was dropped off, our waiter never checked back in. I had ordered fries separately once I realized they didn't come with the sandwich, but after waiting about 10 minutes with no update, I finally got up and walked to the bar to cancel them because I was almost done eating at that point. Maybe we came at an off time, but overall it just wasn't the experience we were hoping for and probably not somewhere we'd return.

The food overall was outstanding, and it was a great spot to take out-of-town guests. To kick things off, we started with a dozen of their legendary Charbroiled Oysters. To be completely honest, we were a little disappointed with them this time. Normally, Drago's oysters are swimming in that famous, rich garlic-butter sauce, but this batch was not as juicy and lacked that extra sauce we are used to getting. They weren't completely dry, but definitely missing that signature butteriness. On the bright side, the rest of the meal was flawless! My sister-in-law ordered a bottle of Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay for her, her friend, and me to share, which was beautifully chilled and paired perfectly with everything. For entrees, my husband and I both ordered the Boneless Beef Short Rib. It was incredibly tender--true melt-in-your-mouth perfection--served over creamy mashed potatoes with rich gravy and topped with fresh sautéed spinach. My sister-in-law got the Seafood Pasta, which was completely decadent with a rich cream sauce over angel hair and a very generous mound of sweet lump crabmeat right on top. Her friend ordered Mama Ruth's Seafood Gumbo and loved that authentic, deep New Orleans dark roux flavor. Our daughter went with the Filet Mignon, which was cooked perfectly and came with a massive plate of hot, crispy French fries that the whole table ended up happily snacking on. Despite the oysters being a bit of a letdown, the entrees, wine, and atmosphere made for a memorable night with family. We will definitely give them another try!

The ambiance has a classic New Orleans feel--older, spacious, and almost reminiscent of a casino with its large dining room. It may not be the trendiest restaurant in the city, but it delivers exactly what people come for. If you're visiting New Orleans, do yourself a favor and order the charbroiled oysters.
