I usually have a great experience here, and I'd honestly rate this place 10/10. The hosts are always friendly, and it's an easy place to bring my family. But my experience yesterday around 6:30 p.m. was completely different because of one employee. When I went to pay, I tried using cash. Instead of simply telling me they don't accept cash, she made this dramatic face, pointed at the "No Cash" sign, and said it in such a rude, condescending tone. I was like, "Okay," and paid with my card. From that point on, her attitude was just awful. Every time she spoke it was like she couldn't be bothered to do her job. She had a nasty attitude the entire interaction. Then when my name was called, I walked over to pick up my food like I always do. Every other time I've come here, I've grabbed my utensils, napkins, bags, or an extra plastic bowl myself without any issue. This time, as I reached for some napkins, she literally yelled, "No, no, no! I'll grab it for you! What are you touching? What do you need?" I told her I was just grabbing napkins, and then she said, "I don't know why the cooks plated it like this. I'll just bring it to you." I was honestly so confused. Why was she so rude? There isn't any sign saying customers can't grab utensils or napkins from the pickup area, and I've never been treated like that before. I live nearby and come here often, so this really stood out. The food was still great, but that employee's attitude completely ruined what is normally a great experience. I hope management addresses it because everyone else I've interacted with here has always been friendly and professional. Besides the sloppy host.

This may be the bottom three Ramen shops I've ever visited. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen (pronounced ton-koh-tsu). The noodles tasted like they were frozen, not fresh, and they were overcooked. There was not very much depth in the broth and it was very much watered down with very little tare to season the broth. The egg was actually great and the chashu was about average. I did not really expect much from a 24 hour spot however I was very hopeful.

We've seen this place a couple of times because it's one of the few places that are open late. Unfortunately, we don't think we'll be coming back. The food was not worth the price as the ramen was average at best. The only thing that stood out to me was the taste of the pork chashu, but even that was dry. The service was mediocre as it's more of a take out place. Servers only take your order but everything is your job like getting water and cleaning up your own bowls. The worst part of this experience was definitely the bathroom. It had the worst smell like a mixture of bleach and urine. I wouldn't recommend this place and I'd suggest cup noodle if you're craving ramen at midnight.

My first time eating Ramen I can't honestly say it was an experience for sure. I'm in the middle with it but I need it a second time to give a formal review , I will be back

Nice place, beautiful restaurant. Ramen was good but lacked some flavor. Would like more seating . Service was good nothing special seemed a little self serve type of dining experience.

Came here after a show and it really hit the spot. Food, service and location are great. I also love that the take out is self service. When you're finished you can easily grab everything yourself. They have dining inside and outside and the cutest patio area! It's also in such a beautiful part of downtown riverside, so there's lots of other shops and fun things to check out after you're finished!

We came at about 2:30am, this place was so busy, lots of drunk people. We ordered 2 tonkatsu with pork egg bean sprouts and corn & a can of soda. It came out to $45 It didn't take forever but people were complaining.

Decided to come here for lunch after the Farmers Market! It was a great choice! So much flavor! Although the chili sauce will take everything up a notch! The atmosphere is very creative! You order at the front when you walk in and then go find your seat! I believe this is one of the few 24 hour food locations!

Late-Night Spot With Cool Vibes, but Food Could Be Fresher Saku Ramen is definitely a cool hangout spot in downtown Riverside. The aesthetic is trendy, the atmosphere is chill, and one of the biggest perks is that they're open 24 hours -- perfect for late-night snacks, walking around downtown with friends, or grabbing something after a night out. I went on Halloween, and they were super busy, so I understand the rush. Because of that, it took about 30 minutes to place my order. The staff was still very friendly despite the crowd, and even the security guard was really chill and talked with us while we waited, which made the time pass faster. I will say the food wasn't as fresh as I hoped for that night, but given how packed it was, I'm willing to give them another try. The vibe, the convenience, and the 24-hour service make it a spot I'd come back to. Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a fun place to end your night -- I just hope the food is fresher

We were staying at the Mission Inn and decided to go over and try the Ramen from this place. I have heard a lot of good things and that it stays open late and we wanted to try it. We went there was a short line maybe about 15 minutes before we got to the front to go ahead and place our order we did an order to stay there. We found a seat in the inside Received our food pretty quickly. Everything was really good. I just wish my noodles were a little softer. that was my only complaint other than that we loved it and would definitely recommend this place and be back.

Extremely mid ramen to say the least .. was not worth paying $70 for .. and $13 for 5 wings ?? Probably my fault for even saying yes to that . But if it's going to be that expensive , I would hope to be impressed .. in terms of service and atmosphere , the only area that seems to stay cool is the entrance where there's a fan blowing but anywhere past that you should expect to be sweating while you eat . Service and all the cute art on the walls were probably the only highlight of this place . ‍

Late night ramen spot that is 24/7. Open seating as its first come first serve. All ramen is served in a to-go style fashion. Tonkatsu ramen is good and their broth is savory included with the all the right toppings. Fried karrage is yummy.

Anyway... After perusing through the menu, which had quite a few blacked out items (black tape applied over the menu item) we both decided on the Tonkatsu Spicy Black Ramen Noodles as well a the Crispy Fried Rice appetizer... the appetizer was delivered but I had to request some small individual plates so that we could eat off of our own plate, rather than reaching over trying to share the same plate and making a mess on the table... no worries, small oversight (or so I thought at the time)... Next came the Ramen... Looked very appetizing, but again I had to get up and request a couple of soup spoons... went to dig in, and while the bottom of the bowl was warm, the broth itself was quite cold... after calling over the waitress and asking them to please reheat (even if they had to use the microwave)... the waitress took it back to the "open" kitchen and they used the microwave to reheat... The bowls were returned and as we started to eat, satisfied that the broth was indeed hot, we noticed a couple of items missing: the corn - no corn in the broth like it was described... in addition to that, no Wood Eared Mushrooms were in the broth either... the wood eared mushrooms set the "black" apart from the standard ramen and cost $.50 more per serving... when questioned about it, the hostess informed us that they didn't have any mushrooms... as a consolation, she offered us one of the "extra price" toppings in place if it... we opted for the tofu... a bowl of tofu pieces came out and although they appeared to have steam coming off of it, the tofu was cold as well... smh... The hostess returned them to to kitchen to be reheated... We received a 10% discount ($4.90 of of a $49 bill)... Not sure if they're going to make it with this level of service and food quality... Now they have table service, which is a nice change in theory, but unfortunately the service we received tonight was really disappointing. After a 9-hour shift serving tables myself, all I wanted was a good bowl of ramen. My girlfriend and I ordered two miso ramens, an order of veggie gyoza, and a Coke. My Coke never came, and throughout our entire meal not a single server checked on us. We even noticed one server standing with her back turned to the dining room on her phone while wearing gloves...YUCK!!Early in the meal we realized we had been served the wrong gyoza, they had meat instead of the veggie gyoza we ordered. We kept waiting for someone to stop by so we could mention both the missing drink and the incorrect appetizer, but no one ever did. Since I hadn't eaten all day and was starving, we ended up eating the dumplings. When we were finishing up, I asked the server if they had meat in them, she confirmed they did. I explained that we had ordered the veggie gyoza, and her response was, "Well, you should've let me know earlier." I would have if anyone had checked on our table even once during the meal!!! The most disappointing part is that the food itself was great. The ramen was exactly what I was craving. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the experience. We also overheard the table next to us complaining that the service was really bad, no one came to take their order and their drinks were forgotten too. I hate leaving negative reviews, especially because I've enjoyed coming here over the years, but the service tonight was so bad that I probably won't be back.

Honestly most people know ramen expectations should be low when you order it as take out but i think they do a great job with how they package their takeout! I've tried their normal lemonade and their mango passionfruit sweet tea and personally i like their sweet tea more! The drink portion is nice and large! Definitely not overly sweet and it always hit with my ramen. I've tried most of their ramens, i like the fact that they have different style noodles. Personally i think their wavy noodles go better with the rich broths like the miso and the Tokyo style one (a mix of shoyu and tonkotsu ) and the straight noodles go god with their clear broth like the shoyu or the yuzu shio. I normally get their shoyu mostly because it gives me the least acid reflux, but that's nothing with their food it's just a health issue for me :( i would say my favorite is their Tokyo style broth. I think it has a nice balance of flavor and the wavy noodles just soak up that broth nicely. I've only had their appetizers on takeout so they're not super fresh, and not really a main stopper for me. The large is good but i wish it was a little bigger with the pieces. Sometimes they're just small and idk it feels like it's missing something. I got the opportunity to stop here yesterday after my tattoo, and the service was decent. Got seated quickly and my order taken quick as well. My food took a few minutes to be made but nothing crazy of a wait. Overall i had a good time, i do go on a Saturday around 7:30 pm so not sure if that matters. For take out i do recommend ordering min 30 minutes before pickup because i do feel like it can take a minute, but thats the nice part of take out that you can order in advance. I think for Eastvale/ norco ramen this place a nice broth and noodles. And it's not overly oily or salty :)

The food was excellent and the service was very attentive to my order. Overall, I have no negatives as it was a enjoyable meal by people who care about making a good bowl of Ramen
