    Seafood Boil

I love going to buffets that have a family-oriented feel, and this definitely met my expectations. While it costs more on the weekends, they are an all you can eat place which makes it worth it! I paced myself to try the hibachi grill, the salmon, and seafood boil. All of the food has so much flavor! It has yummy desserts to enjoy at the end, including ice cream. The service is timely and mindful, with workers coming to clear the table quickly. It is also a lovely atmosphere to celebrate birthday parties-- my family and I got to celebrate our mom here. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Steve was very kind They have a large selection of meat as well as various food, steak and seafood Place is very large. They have a whole lot of seating and parking is very easy to find. Food was incredible though so shout out to the chefs food tasted delicious!

Mussels, overcooked salmon, soggy fried squid, (tasted like) last week's fried shrimp, horrible stuffed jalapeño, prawns

Went there recently. First they challenged my age for senior discount. Sushi was uninspired and rice was hard. Ingredients did not taste fresh. Fried shrimp tasted like reheated leftovers from last week. The shrimp meat was mushy. Calamari was breaded but soggy/ lukewarm. Salmon was overcooked. Anything stuffed with cheese was horrible. The hibachi was decent but they did not label the meats. Hot and sour soup was ok but they didn't have any bowls available. Had to find staff. Gave them one because luckily I didn't have to go #3 later.

Food is so hot and fresh, and they have so many choices. They have a lot of workers in there, so place is clean and always has a lot of people. The prices are good.

Today, I went to Sakura Grill & Buffet for my family dinner. It was amazing, they applied 50% discount for my sister's birthday. After paying, they sat me down VERY quickly. They had such a variety of food! You will get the experience of REAL hibachi chef, he is truly amazing! Service was great, all workers were friendly to my family and I. I had A-Lin as servicer, she was funny and very polite. Even when she is busy, she will receive my plate anytime! I recommended this place for everyone. I will definitely coming back next time!

Menu prices. They should add 9$ for BABIES that don't eat because that's what they charged us lol a joke

SHADY BUSINESS! THEY CHARGE FOR BABIES !(9month old) they will say they "don't" but still charged 9$ tip for a place that is self serve ??? They said they charge tip for party of 5+ and they COUNTED THE 9 MONTH OLD as the 5th person .. wth ?? Total was 73$ but I was charged 95$ total after the 9$ tip they added plus tax charges. FOOD WAS MEDIOCRE and NO SOFT SERVE just little cups of ice cream that were nasty and tasted cheap. SUSHI WAS NASTY. DESSERT TASTED LIKE THEY DIDNT ADD ANY SUGAR ?? I wanted to To love this place but CHARGING 9$ and hiding it is real shady!! Don't come here ! They will find any way to charge you more! I like to give my hard earned money to honest businesses not these shady money hungry people ! 0 stars if I could I still can't believe I was charged for a baby that didn't eat ! Smfh

I've been here quite a few times and it has a decent selection of food. It's about what you'd expect from a buffet so you will need to try some dishes to find what you enjoy. I would strongly recommend coming on a weekend since they tend to have a bit more and restock quickly. Also remember to try out the Mongolian grill in the back to create your own dish. The restaurant has lots of families and friends and it's more of a casual spot. Tonight they've been playing all Taylor Swift songs but usually it's top hits music. I'd recommend giving it a try if your in the mood for a casual buffet.

As good as this type of casual Asian buffett gets! Food: Pleasantly surprised by a lot of fresh and high quality ingredients and food products!!! Loved a variety of seafood dishes, especially the following... Seafood boil - 5/5 - crawfish was of fresh quality and texture and the seafood boil mild-medium spicy was perfect Salt and pepper shrimp - 5/5 - fresh tasting batch Black bean clams - 5/5 Salt and pepper crab - 2.5/5 - not fresh batch Honey walnut shrimp - 1/5 - way too sweet and portion of breading to shrimp way off Mongolian grill bar - 3.5/5 - decent selection of fresh ingredients to choose from Sushi rolls - 2/5 - very limited selection Fruits - 5/5 - a plentiful variety to choose from Ambience: Typical buffet style arrangement Service: Fast, friendly; no complaints

We sat at the bar area so, we didn't see how it was being made. My husband and I thought they probably forgot about our order and was sitting out for awhile. This time they sat us where all the chefs were making the dishes, so I finally saw how they make ngiri. There is 1 guy who makes it and I didn't like how he would make the ngiris but was not served asap. He would make about 3 sets at a time or some thing like that. The time from when it's made and time where it's served is too long. That is why the fish is warm by the time it got to us. Also, we didn't see a fridge where he was making it but it could be underneath around his leg area. I'm a little disappointed. From all the sushi documentary's I've watched, this is not how it's suppose to be. I regret ordering the Ngiri Mix again cause the fish was warm. Same like last time! I read other reviews where people have said the quality is going down. Even though, I am not a regular here, I can kinda tell that it is. My favorite are ngiri's and it doesn't beat Kura's ngiri's right now. Kru just give's bigger portions but the quality of Kura's is superb! Ibérico Kashira Kushiyaki $16+ Den miso tare, basil-mint pistou, grilled lemon - SO-SO. Pork was tender but was wayyy too salty. Kru's ambiance is dark, chill environment with lights shining down on where it matters like the food and selfie pics lol. It can get loud when it get's busy. Mos def chiq and aesthically pleasing. Every little detail from the ceiling to the floor, table setting, mural, bathroom, and even menus were all BEAUTIFUL! SPECIAL SHOUT OUT: To all the resto staff that helped us for both nights. You guys are amazing! Friendly, awesome smiles and knowledgeable. Thank you for your top notch hospitality. I tried their sukiyaki set, both wagyu and seafood. I wish they had given some instructions on the approach or order I should eat the sets of food. It was a little chaotic trying to figure out how I could submerge all the ingredients in the broth so they would cook evenly. The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.

Since that visit I have returned three different times, always bringing someone different to show off this excellent restaurant find located near 73rd and Stockton Blvd Engawa Fusion is such a special place-this restaurant is over 30 minutes from my house in Natomas in traffic ,yet that never stops me from trekking my way across Sacramento-I love this place that much. On this particular visit we started with 2 different sushi tacos-We had the tuna version and the salmon version-each priced at $11.00. Now I could write a novel explaining the virtues of these culinary creations but I will keep it short-the tuna and the salmon tacos are such the perfect bite-well balanced-well seasoned-surprisingly heavy in the hand while being light to the taste-it's truly been my favorite new food item discovery of 2026. Next we went with the Stir-Fry Udon and this cost us $16.00. I've described this dish in the past as a dish I could eat every day of my life and would be a very happy person. The flavor and seasonings are flawless, the noodles are cooked perfectly, great chew-a very slurpable noodle for sure. I can easily see why this dish is such a popular item on their menu. This restaurant was given a spot on Yelps Top 100 Places to eat in 2025-nothing in this visit did a thing to show that honor wasn't well deserved. In closing-I don't know if I could recommend this spot any higher and I plan many future visits whenever I want to show people how amazing the culinary experience in Sacramento has truly become. 10/10 experience. Long review: I've had this place on my list of restaurants to try for a while now. I love Japanese food, and this establishment has great reviews, so I finally decided to give it a go for Father's Day. They didn't have many reservations open, but managed to fit us in for 1 pm. The parking lot was a bit small, so we ended up parking a couple of minutes down the street. We were greeted by a very friendly host, who graciously allowed me to bring in my $1 Jamba smoothie to the table (National Smoothie Day) and tossed the trash I was holding. The seats and table were clean and neatly set up. The menu was only two pages, which I prefer since it makes it easier for me to settle on something. We started with a BBQ albacore, which came at a nice medium cook with 6 decently sized pieces, and a heavy hand of micro cilantro (love veggies). My husband and I split a sesame chicken entree. The ratio of the deep fry to actual meat leaned toward the deep fry, but the flavor was there, and the side salad came with what I believe is an appropriate amount of dressing (I'm used to Japanese restaurants barely giving any dressing). The miso soup was standard and not too hot upon arrival. The Salmon Lovers roll my husband ordered was pretty good. I think it could've gone with a little less sauce since the crab mix, garlic sauce, and spicy mayo hit the same flavor profile, but the lemon zest really brought in some brightness to cut into the creamy ingredients. I was very happy with my Tsunami roll. It had the same lemony pop with the zest, came with a more modest amount of micro cilantro (wouldn't have minded the amount we got with our appetizer, though), and featured escolar (butterfish). I don't see this fish very often on menus, and its buttery texture against the crispy shrimp tempura was just amazing. Lastly, I felt the rolls were a great size. The ones we ordered were cut up into 12 pieces, so they seemed to last a while between the three of us. We left stuffed, and my dad loved the place. Also, it didn't burn too big of a hole in my wallet (~$130 for an appetizer, two entrees, and two rolls, after a 20% tip). Father's Day success!
