visiting for the week and really needed a massage, so glad we found this spa! communication beforehand was great, they text you directions of where to park and where to go (one of them even came down to the garage to escort us!) tina did an incredible medium/deep tissue massage. she really worked out my neck, back and shoulders in exactly the way I needed. she checked in with me a few times to make sure the pressure was okay and that I was okay with her working on certain areas. It pains me to write this review.This was my favorite place for a foot massage in town. They were the best and I always took out-of-town guests to them. I recommend them to my friends and coworkers. I went to them about every other month and always left feeling great What happened? I don't know. When I arrived, there appeared to be only three people working at a normally busy afternoon when many massage therapists were present. I initially booked a foot massage over the phone. On the way over, I thought I would treat myself and get a body massage and a foot massage. I inquired if they had time to do that and they were available. So far so good! It went downhill from there. The lady who gave me a 90 minute body/foot massage was not competent. It was evident she did not have any training. There was no methodology in the sequence of the massage. She did not do my arms while laying on my back. There were times when she was massaging my toes she would pause as if she was falling asleep. She kept repeating the same strokes to pass the time. She was probably doing the best she could, but lacked the training to do a good job. It is a shame this once wonderful place is not what it was. Man. I will NEVER book with this place again. First they told me to call to make an appointment and mention the Groupon. When I called and mentioned it the woman on the phone was talking over me yelling about how they have better deals than Groupon. I told her I've already bought it then she asked me to screenshot it and text it to her. I did it but it felt weird. So when we got there and walked in. There was a lot of people seemingly leaving and the staff seemed confused and anxious. I presented the Groupon upon arrival and they kept staring at it and yelling back and forth in thier native language. I'm not sure if they were talking about the Groupon or my wife and I. It was very strange and uncomfortable. They made us take our shoes off as well while we waited. After a few minutes of waiting. We were asked to put them back on and follow two employees downstairs because they were "full" upstairs. This was a red flag for me because I booked the room with the view. They took us downstairs and around the corner to some dark fairy creepy place. I was getting a bit nervous and annoyed because the lady who we followed down got really bossy. There were no pleasantries or anything. Just a lot of "Go over there!" "Sit down!" While hitting my arm or leg. Not a lot of manners at all. IMO massages are supposed to be relaxing but it didn't feel like it. It feel like a big bait and switch. While the massage was happening there was a lot of back and forth with the door opening and constant talking between them and the people outside of the door. My wife dozed off once but I felt uncomfortable and was on high alert. When it was over I Venmo the tip the woman kept yelling the amount of money as if it wasn't enough. Even though they offered us water it wasn't like a bottle or cucumber water it was very small paper cup. Damn near a shot glass. Do not recommend. Would not go. read more

I gifted my two besties a massage from Sakura Spa after hearing great reviews from another friend. I believe I came here a long time ago when they were on another floor. I booked our appointment through Yelp, and got a confirmation call within a minute! I got the Foot reflexology and scalp massage, my friend got the Foot reflexology and foot scrub, and my other friend got the Acupressure and scalp massage. The foot massage felt really good. Hot stone was used as well, and the therapist massaged up to my thighs. The scalp massage included neck and shoulder massage too. Very worth the already reasonable price! We are all very satisfied with our session. Tips: Spa is at the Century Center, but you cannot park anywhere. They will text you with which stalls you are allowed to park at. Parking fee is $2.00. If you park on the 2nd floor or higher, you must first go down to the lobby to walk over to the main building. As we were walking over to the main building, we were greeted by one of the staff (I think she may have been the manager) and she escorted us to the spa, which I thought was nice. My friends and I booked a massage at Sakura Massage, choosing this place for its convenient location (a central point for all of us) and reasonable prices. They have a flyer that explains where to park, but I must say the parking ramp was a bit tricky to find. I was waiting in one of the reserved stall when a lady approached me. A helpful note: If you park above ground level, the parking elevator and the building elevator are not the same. The massage studio is on the 39th floor, and once you arrive, you're greeted by welcoming staff. My girlfriends and I booked a couples massage, and the view from the room was stunning. During the massage, they covered my eyes, but I would have preferred if they had just closed the curtains. My masseuse, Amanda, used medium pressure, which felt a bit firm (though maybe I'm just sensitive!), but overall, I really enjoyed the experience. I also found it interesting that she used different oils for each area she massaged. I was initially worried about parking prices, but as we were leaving, the staff mentioned to us that parking should only be $2--and if it wasn't, they even said to call their boss! I purchased a Groupon and called to schedule an appointment, but the woman who answered struggled to communicate in English and repeatedly insisted that I should cancel the Groupon and buy directly from her. I explained multiple times that I had already purchased the Groupon, and she eventually agreed to schedule the appointment. The day before my appointment, I called to confirm. She asked if it was a couple's massage (it was not), and I reminded her again that I had a Groupon. She confirmed and sent me additional information. When I arrived for my appointment, I went to the 39th floor as instructed and was met by a group of women speaking Chinese. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but a man eventually told me to go downstairs to a different location. It was confusing and unprofessional. Downstairs, I was asked to soak my feet in a tub of warm water, which I've done before at other massage places -- but it felt out of place here. There were two elderly men waiting who were then escorted elsewhere, which felt odd and left me questioning what kind of business this really is. I was eventually led into a private room where I expected to receive the body massage I booked. Instead, I was given a 50-minute foot massage by a man who couldn't communicate without using a translation app in the elevator beforehand. I felt uncomfortable, confused, and misled, but at that point, I just waited for it to be over. Overall, the whole experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and had a strange, possibly questionable vibe. I would never return and cannot recommend this place to others. read more

Studied in China, don't you know. If you ask me, the best masseuses come from China. Lily has over eight years experience. She is very careful to check with you throughout the massage to make sure the pressure is perfect for you. Which is a good thing because Lily is incredibly strong. Her hands are extremely powerful. But she wields that power judiciously, applying only as much as you ask for My wife had equally great praise for her masseuse, Judy. I highly recommend Sakura Massage & Spa.
