I totally agree, my partner and I recommend Mimi and Vivian as well. Tbh. It felt hella sketched at first when Mimi seemed very eager to massage my partner. While in Hawaii, we made a last minute decision to get a couples massage. Sakura was one of the first places to pop up on Yelp and they were able to get us in within the next 20 minutes. The massage place is up on the high level of a building so there were some logistics to work out on how to get there and where to actually park. However they send you the details on how to get in, where to park and the floor to go to. Someone actually came out to help us and escorted us to the parking spot and up to the floor where their business is. Seemed weird at first but it's just how they do it and what works best for them. As for the massage, they were great! I didn't catch the names of them but the two people who took care of us had us relaxed and ready for the rest of our day. My boyfriend really enjoyed his massage. We both asked for a more deep tissue massage to knock out any knots we had. The space was nice and the view was amazing! read more

I didn't catch her name but one of them offered to take photos of us which was very nice. The massage itself lasted the ENTIRE 90 minutes. My feet... have NEVER felt this soft EVERRR!!! Nana performed a dead skin removal treatment on my feet and they were as smooth as a baby's bottom when she was done! She literally shaved off 15 years of dead skin from the bottoms of my feet! I was so effing shocked. Could not believe my eyes and couldn't stop touching my feet for a whole month. It was so incredible. Nobody has EVER been able to make my feet feel like this. I've gone to several different pedicurists over the years, and only one came close. Nana is the REAL deal ladies and gents! I've been wearing high heels and hiking for years now. Although I don't wear heels as much these days or hike as aggressively as I used to, it really did a number on my feet. I've always been super self conscious about my feet and often hate going in for pedicures because I'm embarrassed about how rough my feet are. Nana made me feel like a little princess when she was done with my treatment. I was ready to show the whole damn world my feet; real talk! I initially found this place on Yelp when I was looking for a massage. Sakura Massage is highly rated and I read some great reviews about their massages (I did end up getting a wonderful massage from Peter). But, it was the pictures of the dead skin removal that really intrigued me. I found a coupon for the dead skin removal and decided to stop by after calling to see if they had any time for a walk-in appointment. When they said yes, I arrived in the afternoon. Had a bit of an issue with parking as someone was actually parked in the spot that I was given a parking pass for. One of the ladies from the shop directed me to another parking spot to avoid getting a ticket. I went up to the higher floor where Sakura Massage was located, but their office space was closed that day. Judy directed me to their other office space on the first floor which goes by Yaya Massage. When I finally arrived, I was taken to a room where Nana performed my dead skin removal. She was honest with me, and told me that she'd need more time to fulfill the removal than what the coupon offered. I knew my feet were rough, so I was fine with it. Nana was very soft and careful during the entire treatment and I didn't feel any pain at all. She was also very talkative and this made the time go by so much faster. She even took a before and after picture so that I could see the results. I was so amazed! She had clients who fly out from other states once or twice a year just to get this service done. And I totally understand why! And to be honest, I may end up being one of those clients. I immediately starting researching to see if they had this service back here at home, and I still haven't been able to find anything. Nana is a gem in her own right. I can't forget to mention my amazing massage with Peter as well! He was gentle but also applied pressure to some tense points in my upper back/shoulder area. I don't get massages too often and I don't know why because I honestly need them. I'm sure he could tell that my back was very tense and he really worked hard to relax me. Would definitely recommend Peter for your massage needs. Their Yaya Massage office is small but very clean and comfortable. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional, and the price points are extremely reasonable. I'm SO glad that I discovered this place! This was one of the best experiences that I've had yet. I would have posted the pictures of my feet, but whew child... them before pics even scared me half to death. Not trying to subject anyone to those horrifying visuals. But trust me, Nana and Peter are absolute Saints! Mark my words; I WILL be returning here for another dead skin removal treatment and massage the next time that I'm in Honolulu. I came to this place based on the reviews and rating on Yelp. Don't trust all of these 5 star reviews. These massage places have similar pricing, there are plenty of options. We came in for a 60 minute couples massage. I am not expecting a 5 star experience, but they never offered any water or tea when we walked in or left. When we arrived, they confirmed the length of the massage we wanted and immediately put us in a room and told us to take our clothes off. The pressure of the massage is decent, however, they spent half of the time rubbing oil on the body with very little pressure and wiping the oil off with a towel. Each set of massage movements ended very abruptly. Similar to someone who started a sentence but never finished it. We left feeling the same as if we didn't get the massage. Card payers BEWARE, check your calculation to ensure the total is what you INTEND to pay!!! The worker ended up paying herself double in tips of what I said. She said the difference is due to taxes... We were also told that parking is included but we had to pay at the end. I will not be returning when I come here for vacation. read more

My Hubby & I were in bad need of massages. He found this place. Easy to book. We booked a 90 min couples massage for my birthday. It was $200 for both of us. We were taken to a room where we were asked where they'd like us to be worked on. Then we were told to strip down & get comfortable. It was nice. The lady that worked on me was incredibly strong! She was intense. I almost fell asleep, but then it got a bit painful as she worked out the kinks. Which, even though it hurt, my body needed it. If you're ticklish or don't want certain parts worked on, you need to state this in the beginning. I will definitely come back on our next trip! read more
